IN WAIT OF ECSTASY (COMPLETED)

Chapter 58

Everything was going fine in everyone's life now. Sum and Sid had shifted back with Sum's parents. Abhinavi, Sidneet and Sumellika were officially a couple. Their parents had no problem with any of them. Sum's parents accepted Sumellika and Sid happily because they can't afford to loose Sum again at any cost.

Abhi and Avu's buisness was doing great. It was at high positions once again as it was at the time of their parents. It was of course the result of their dedication and day and night hard work. It was their goal to keep their parent's hard work alive at any cost.

About Abhi's dadi. She was in prison under high security. She was a really evil minded lady so police had made sure she didn't escape. Her trial was yet awaited. That means her punishment was yet to be awaited. But Abhi had collected all proofs against her. He  personally made sure that none of crimes should be left out.

Everyone was busy in their life. Life was going very smoothly until one day.

Abhi was having breakfast before leaving for office. Avu's home was beside his. She came out to leave for work but she saw police car outside Abhi's home. She decided to follow them. Police officer rang the bell of Abhi's home. One of the servants open the door.

Servant: Jii? Mein aapki kaise madad kar sakta hu?

Officer: Hume Mr. Abhishek Sharma se milna hai

Servant nodded and took them inside. Abhi got shocked seeing them and stood up immediately.

Abhi: Sir? Aap yaha? Kuch kaam tha?

Officer: Mr. Sharma actually your dadi was in prison right?

Abhi: Umm yes. Wait was means?

Officer: Actually today early morning she was found unconscious in her prison. We called a doctor

Abhi: Is everything alright sir?

Officer removed his cap.

Officer: We are sorry to inform you Mr. Sharma but your dadi is no more

Abhi was shocked to listen this. He didn't know how to react. He felt like ground slipped under his feet.

Officer: Mr. Sharma

He jerked his shoulder.

Abhi: Y..y..yes?

Officer: Are you alright?

Abhi sighed and nodded slightly.

Officer: I need your sign on these papers

Abhi nodded and took a pen. His hands were shaking. He somehow signed the papers.

Officer: Thank you so much Mr. Sharma. We need to do some from formalities. You can come and collect the dead body by evening

Police left with that. Abhi sat on sofa with a thud. His vision was blurry. Tears started rolling down her eyes. As soon as police went, Avu moved towards him. She kept a hand on his shoulder. He didn't need to look. He knew who it was. He kept his hand on hers.

Abhi: Aaj mein poori tarah se orphan ban gya Avu. The last person who belonged to my family also left the world. I know she hurted a lot of people. And they are closest to my heart. You and Vaishu mean world to me and she had given so much pain. Maybe I should be happy by this news. But I am feeling the pain of losing her. I don't know Avi. I am sorry but I am feeling like I lost someone again in my life. Someone again left me alone in this world. I know how much she harassed you. But still it's hurting Avi. I am sorry. I am extremely sorry. But this feeling is not in my control

By now Abhi was hugging her by waist and his face was burried in her stomach. He was sobbing badly and she was caressing his hair. Even Avu got tears seeing his best friend like this. He cried his heart out. Her top was wet with his tears. She didn't say anything and let him cry. He calmed after sometime but didn't left her as if she is one of his few precious people left with him. He broke the hug after sometime. Avu wiped his tears and sat beside him.

Abhi: Avi I seriously I don't know. I mean I hated her for whatever she did. But today when I came to know she is no more, it hurted me. A lot. I am sorry if you didn't like it but I don't know what to say

Avu: You don't need to say anything Abhi. Before everything, she was your dadi. You are his own blood. Your pain, your tears don't need to be justified. I understand

Abhi nodded.

At evening

Abhi signed some papers and got her dead body. Their friends came to console Abhi. He was happy seeing them. They did the last rites. Group decided to stay a day or two to keep Abhi happy. Abhi was fine because of their company but still he was bit off. Next day they all were sitting and chit chatting when suddenly Mallika spoke gathering everyone's attention.

Mallika: Guys

Sid: Yee?

Mallika: I think we should go on some trip. Thoda environment bhi change hoga. Sab fresh bhi ho jaenge. And it's long we have spent time together with each other. Aur ab pata nhi kab time mile firse

Avu: I agree with Mallika. It's long even we have gone on a trip. Right Abhi

Abhi: Yee

Sid: We can go

Sum: I am ready

Vaish: Ab jab chal rahe hai to I am also ready but one day return phir office work bhi hain.

Mallika: I agree

Avu: Yee. So kaha? Alibaug?

Mallika: Not a bad idea

Vaish: We can

They planned their trip.
