Abhi: Bol Avu kya hain ye sab or kab se chal raha hain?
Avu looked at dadi then at Abhi. Abhi blinked his eyes, indicating her to say.
Avu: Our parents never wished for our marriage. I mean they always wanted us to be together like they were. Be each other's support in hard and happy times but not by labeling our friendship as marriage.
Dadi: How can you be so sure about it? Mere bete ne mujhe khud bola tha.
Abhi: Ignore her and tell me truth Avu
Avu: Abhi humare parents ki death kuch months pehle hi hui hain. Means hum jab 21 and 22 years ke around the. Kabhi uncle ya aunty ne tujhe pucha tha for me as your life partner? Aunty tujhe itna tease karti thi ke aesi bahu honi chaye or vaisi honi chaye but unhone kabhi mere liye tujhe tease kiya tha?
Abhi was quiet for few minutes, thinking about Avu's words.
Dadi: Stop brainwashing him. I know your tricks very well.
Abhi rubbed Avu's knuckles.
Abhi: No. Kabhi aese specifically kuch nahin bola tha.
Avu: Because they never wished for. Bass hum sath ho that's what they wish for. Shaadi kare ya na kare that's totally our choice.
Abhi nodded understanding her point.
Abhi: You were never comfortable for this engagement. Dadi ne torture kiya tha? Don't lie please.
He requested the last part. Avu nodded.
Abhi: Or koi sach hain jo main nahin janta?
Dadi (nervous): Nahin or kuch nahin hain. Pura sach yehi hain. Now I am going.
Sum: Aap kahin nahin jayegi. Till the time we aren't letting you go.
Mallika: Jiss confidence se bola or kuch nahin hain. I am damn sure or bhi sach hain. Avneet or kya sach hain?
Abhi: Itni badi baat kabhi mujhe tune batayi nahin?
Avu just sat their silently not knowing if she should share truth or not. Dadi was glaring her hard. Everyone noticed this.
Sid (side hugging her): Adha sach bahar aa gaya hain. Pura bhi bata do. Don't be scared of anyone. We are with you.
Abhi: I promise I will help you. Sach bata de kya hain. Tujhe koi need nahin hain kisi se bhi darne ki. I promise. You trust me, right?
Avu nodded with tears.
Abhi: Bata?
Avu: Humare parents ki car ke brakes fail maine nahin kiye the.
She started sobbing silently. Everyone looked at her in confusion, except dadi who was ready to kill her.
Abhi (shocked): Tune nahin kiye the. Or jab blame tere par aaya tha tune ek baar bhi khud ke liye stand kyun nahin kiya? Kyun nahin bola kabhi? Tujhe pata hain sab kisne kiya tha or kyun kiya tha?
Avu: Umm....dadi ne. Brakes dadi ne fail karaye the. She wanted to kill my dad but unfortunately your parents and mom were there in car.
Abhi (shocked): Matlab?
Dadi stood there looking down, preparing herself from Abhi's out burst.
Avu: Morning me dad ki important meeting thi. So he asked me to ask driver to be ready with his car. But dad ki car servicing ke liye gayi thi. So I ask driver uncle to take mine car. Dadi got to know about this then unhone brakes fail karayi but on last moment. Mom and aunty shopping jaa rahe the. Or uncle free the. So he thought to join dad for meeting. Or sab sath me gaye. Brakes fail ke vajah se unke car ka accident hua and they died.
She broke down by the end. Everyone was shock.
Dadi: Vo jooth bol rahi hain. Abhi tu uski baato par trust mat karna. Vo jooth bol rahi hain.
He felt Avneet's hand and moved towards dadi
Abhi (shout): Dusro ki choro, Aap apne bete ko kaise maar sakti hain? Why you killed them dadi? Kyun aap uncle ko marna chahti thi?
Everyone in the room flinched.
Dadi (shouted): Tere liye kiya maine ye sab. Uske father ki death hoti to tu Avneet se shaadi karke dono empire ka owner banta. Sab se bada businessman banta.
Everyone in the room were shocked.
