Avu hugged him. Abhi smiled and hugged her back.
Abhi (kissing her hair): Thank you for always understanding me.
He softly whispered in her ear. She smiled, snuggling more into him.
Sid who was passing from garden, he heard their talks and stood there. He was so shocked to know this biggest truth.
Sid's P.O.V.
Vaish likes Abhi? Umm.... She never told me this. Like seriously. Yaar what the fuck is this? Like mere har best friend ka koi na koi secret hain jo mujhe aese pata laga. Vaish... duh! She likes Abhi or mujhe pata to choro idea tak nahin hain. Abhi loves Vaish. Same again. No idea about it. Abhi and Avu ka rishta by heart nahin hain but zabardasti ka hain. Here for them I was suppressing my feelings for Avu since long. Har waqt main khud ko samajhata hoon vo mera dost ki fiance hain means meri bhabhi hui. Bhabhi ke liye feelings rakhna is totally wrong but fact is vo khud is rishte me zabardasti se hain. Abhi jiske sath main almost 90% of the day spend karta hoon uske fiancée and love ke baare mein kuch pata hi nahin mujhe. That makes sense why Abhi never gave Avu the love and respect he should give to his fiancée. Why they never give damn to teasing. Unko feelings hi nahin hain. For them they are just best friends. Not couple. Main unki baate sun kar galati to nahin ki. I mean eavesdrop are bad manners but here I heard each and everything said by them.
P.O.V. ends
With these thoughts he left from there. His mind became fully mess by now.
With Abhi and Avu
Avu broke the hug.
Avu: Chal room me jaa. Main bhi jati hoon. Dinner ke liye milte hain.
Abhi: Sun tu jaa. I need some alone time please.
Avu: Okay theek hain. Dinner ke liye time se aa jana.
Abhi: Yeah! Tu apni medicine le lena before going for dinner.
Avu nodded and went to her room.
Abhi's P.O.V.
Ye ladki ko har baat bina bole pata chal jati hain that whom I like and whom I love. Maybe this is the reason always mom dad want her to be with me. Bina kahe meri baate samajhti hain or unka solution bhi deti hain. (He smiled and looked up at stars) uncle, aunty thank you for giving me this monster as my best friend. Mom dad aap batao main kya karu? Aapki wish ke according jau ya apne pyaar ke pass jau? Mom dad this is truth main aur Avu ek dusre ko sirf best friend ki nazar se dekhte hain to shayad shaadi se we will be uncomfortable with each other as husband and wife. I am not saying this because I like someone else but genuinely. Kya karu main?
He closed his eyes thinking about these things only. A flashback played in his mind.
Flashback
Abhineet with their parents went for trip where Abhi was checking out girls, making Avu pissed off.
Avu: Ek or ladki to tada to teri aankhe phod dugi samajha?
Abhi (rolling his eyes): Monsters to ladne ke alawa kuch aata kidhar hain?
Abhi's mom came and saw them fighting.
Abhi's mom: Phir ladai shuru dono ki.
Avu: Ye tang kar raha hain
Abhi: Main tujhe kya kiya?
Abhi's mom: Kya hua Avu beta?
Avu: Aunty dekho na kab se ladkiyo ko taad raha hain or upar se mujhe irritate kar raha hain ye dekh kaisi rahegi, vo kitni hot hain blah blah blah...
Abhi: Haan to tu kya chahti hain apne liye ladki bhi na dhundu?
Abhi's mom: Chup kar jaa. Or Avu tu hi dekhna ye apni life kharab na kare kisi bhi ladki ke chakkar me. Pagal hain
She hit him on head and walked away. Abhi rolled his eyes. Avu burst out laughing.
Flashback ends
Abhi (looking at stars with small smile): Mom ye ladki Avu ke choice ki hain. Or Avu ke words sahi the maybe hum shaadi karle par khush nahin rahe sakege. Maa maine decision to le liya but I hope mera decision galat na ho.
After few minutes. His phone rang. He saw caller I'd Avu. Knowing she must be calling him for dinner. So he went to mess.
