Chapter 31

At last when SM and SD didn't find any words to say. SM starts cursing Sum's friends.

Sum: Aapse lakh guna achhe hai wo. Atleast they value their relations.

But that didn't affected them. SM left from there in anger. Whole way SM was cursing them.

SD: Jo tune kiya na. Bilkul sahi nahin kiya. I am warning you last time.

Sum (joining his hands): Please leave. Nahin chalna mujhe. That's it.

SD stormed out of there in anger. After SM and SD went from there. Sum broke down. He fell on his knees crying. Abhi, Mallika rushed towards him. They sat in front of Sum.

Mallika (cups his face): Calm down Sumedh. Calm down.

He hugged her. Mallika hugged him back, patting his back. She was consoling him. Abhi patted his shoulder. Sum was crying.

Abhi: Shant ho jaa bhai. Sab sahi ho jayega shant ho jaa.

With Sid. He stood there. He was looking down only. Many things were roaming in his mind. Avni went near him and she kept her hand on his shoulder. Sid looked at her but didn't speak anything.

Vaish (squeezing Sid's other shoulder): You are really strong boy. I am proud to have a best friend like you.

She open her arms and he quickly hug her. He didn't cry but definitely felt relaxed.

After sometime Sum calmed down. He broke the hug.

Sum (joining his hands): I am sorry Mallika. Mom dad ko aese baat nahin karni chaye thi. I am extremely sorry. I apologize on their behalf. I know wo sab maafi ke kabil nhi hai but still ho sake to maaf kar dena

Mallika held his hands and kiss on them.

Mallika: I am so so proud of you.

Abhineet saw them and smiled. Sidnavi too broke the hug.

Abhi: Umm..... guys if I am not wrong. Jab hum dorm me new aaye the and Sid ki condition kharab ho gayi. Because of this?

Sid and Sum looked at each other and Sum nodded.

Sum: Recently Sid ki surgery hui thi. After surgery hum Sid ko ghar leke gaye the but I felt ke maybe kuch aur galat kare mom dad. So isliye maine hum dono ka admission yaha karaya. Unko chor kar aa gaye hum yaha.

Abhi nodded. Many questions were raising in mind of Abhi, Vaish, Avu and Mallika but they didn't want to spoil mood of Sum or Sid more. Sum notice everyone has questioning face but not asking anything.

Sum: When we were in final year. Chachu chachi means Sid's parents, mom dad, me and Sid used to live together. Since birth we both always lived like twin brothers though we are cousins but jo Sid ke liye aata tha same mere liye bhi aata tha. Same age ke hain hum. Best friends hain since birth. Few months difference. Dad and chachu dono dadu ke firm Ahuja corporate me work karte the sab sahi tha.

He took deep breath then continued.

Sum: When we were 20 actually I was 21 and Sid 20. Chachu chachi went out of India for some deal. When they were coming back. Plan crash ho gaya and dono ki death ho gayi. Unki death ke baad for sometime mom dad Sid ke sath sahi the. Then mom ki kidneys fail ho gayi suddenly. Sab ne kidney test karayi. Sid and mom ki match ho gayi. Sid was not ready to be her donor. He was scared of surgery. He denied. Dad started misbehaving with him. He used to torture him and beat him. Bahut ganda behave karte the. Jab tak mujhe sab pata chala tab tak bahut late ho chuka tha. Sid ne kuch nahin bataya tha. Surgery wale din I got to know about all this. Uske baad I always noticed mom dad sirf mere par dhayan dete the. They never cared for Sid. Nahin acha lagta tha mujhe. So I took this decision and we both came here. Un logo se door. I don't like to call them my mom dad.
