Chapter 9

In evening

Sid got up.

Sum: Kidar jaa rha hai?

Sid: Marne. Chalna hai?

He said irritatedly.

Sum: Nhi thanks

Sid: Walk ke lie jaa raha hu. I need a fresh air. Aur kuch?

Abhi: Tune medicine li?

Sid: Hnn yrr. Mein koi bacha nhi hu ab jo mujhse har time poochhna pade

Sum: We don't trust you with medicines

Sid: Okk

He choosed not argue anymore. He plugged in his earphones and went for walk down in lawn attached to their dorm.

Abhi was lost in his thoughts.

Abhi's P.O.V.

Yrr mujhe bohot tension ho rahi hai. Bass ek baar usse dekh loo if she is fine or not. I know I should not be worried about her after all that par kya karoo. I loved her the most since beginning of course after my parents. Par abhi kya kroo? Abhi soch kuch.

P.O.V. ends

He came out of his thoughts from Sumedh's cursing.

Sum: Ugh I need notes

Abhi: Konse notes?

Sum: Actually Foundation rules mera aur Mallika ka common subject hai. I need notes. Par mein usse maangna nhi chahta. Aur kal test hai but maine notes nhi banaye iss topic ke

Abhi's P.O.V.

Arre wahh hogyi meri problem hal. Thank you bhagwan jii meri sunne ke lie. Ek baar usse dekh loonga to chain rhega.

P.O.V. ends

Abhi: Hnn to usme kya hai? Mein jaake lekar aata hu na. Tu kyu chinta kar raha hai?

Sum: Tu le aayega?

Abhi: Aur nhi to kya? Dost hote kis lie hai? Aur waise bhi tum dono ka to humne milna waise bhi band kar rakha hai. Mein le aata hu

Sum: Hnn. Thank you

Abhi: Arre koi ni. Apne bhai ke lie itna to mein kar hi sakta hu

Abhi went to girls' room. He knocked the door but no response. He knocked 2-3 times but nothing. He pushed it a bit and it wasn't locked. He awkwardly came inside and saw Avu. She was sleeping while sitting. She was wearing her specs. Her laptop was opened and notebook was in her lap and a pen in her hand. It was clear she slept while working. No one else was there in room. A small smile crept on Abhi's face. He shook his head. He went towards her and shut down the laptop and took notebook and pen from her. He kept everything away and slowly removed her specs and made her lay properly and covered her with a blanket.

She frowned in sleep because of sudden movement. Abhi caressed her hair softly and she again slept. Abhi was admiring her. He unconsciously placed a soft kiss on her forhead. A smile came on her face as soon as he placed his lips on her forhead. He moved back not before lingering his lips there for a moment. He was caressing her hair with a smile. But there was a pair of eyes watching him doing all this. It was Vaish standing at washroom door. She fake coughed bringing him back from senses. He immediately stood up and panicked.

Vaish: Well hii to you too

Abhi: Umm hey

He said moving his hands in his hair nervously.

Vaish: Well what are you doing here?

Abhi: Wo please don't tell anyone what you saw. It was nothing. Actually wo she is on her periods and she must be tired so I just made her lay down properly. Nothing else

Vaish: Okk. But tumhe kaise pata?

Abhi: Wo she is very careless. She gets a lot of stomach ache but never takes care of herself. So I just keep a track of her periods. She even mostly forgets her dates are near so I just make sure to bring sanitary pads and everything before that

Vaish mentally awwed at him.

Vaish: Ohh

She was too amazed to say anything.

Abhi: But please don't tell anyone or even her about this. I request

Vaish wanted to ask reason but thought against it and nodded smiling.

Abhi: And please take care of her

Vaish: Sure

Abhi: And I needed Mallika's foundation rules notes. Sumedh wanted to study for some test

Vaish: Okk. She just went out. Uska network nhi aa rha tha phone ka. I will give you wait

Vaish gave him notes and Abhi left thanking her. Rest of the day passed normally.

After dinner, all left. Abhi stopped Vaish.

Vaish: Yes?

Abhi: Umm can you give these chocolates to Avu?

He asked biting his lips nervously. Vaish chuckled.

Vaish: Sure

Abhi: But please don't tell her I gave

Vaish nodded.

Vaish: I won't. Don't worry

Abhi: Bye

Vaish: Good night

Vaish went in room and forwarded chocolates to Avu.

Vaish: You must be having stomach ache. This will help

Avu: You knew?

Vaish: Of course. Roommates and friends get to know. So chill

Avu smiled and thanked her. Chocolates actually reminded her of Abhi. Whenever she used to be on periods, Abhi used to get her chocolates, ice creams.
