Chapter 52

Vaish met with a serious accident. Her driver immediately ran towards her and saw her condition. He was too scared to react. It took him few seconds to come back in his senses. He took out water from the car and sprinkled a bit of it on her face in a hope that she will gain consciousness.

Driver: Ma'am. Vaishnavi ma'am please wake up please

He tried shaking her but no use. He called ambulance quickly. Ambulance came in sometime and he took her to hospital. He called her parents and informed them about the accident. Her parents were extremely worried. They rushed to the hospital.

VD: How all this happened?

He asked at the verge of breaking down. VM was already a crying mess. He was trying to be strong for his wife. Driver told them everything and left after sometime. Doctor came out after sometime and both rushed to him.

VD: Doctor is my daughter alright? Please tell she is perfectly fine. You saved her na. Mein muhh maange paise dene ko tyaar hu. Just tell that you saved my princess

Doctor looked at VM who was in really pathetic condition. He kept his hand on VD's shoulder.

Doctor: Aap please mere cabin mein aayie

VD was really scared but went inside somehow. Doctor asked him to take a seat.

Doctor: Dekhie mein aapko jhoothi tasali nhi doonga. Though she is out of danger. But she has a lot of internal injuries. She is extremely critical. Her case is too serious. We are doing our work. Baaki aap bhagwaan ko yaad kijie. Dawaiya apna kaam karengi aur duaa apna

VD's eyes got filled with tears. Words were not coming out of his mouth. He slowly came outside. His phone was ringing. He saw the collar I'd Mallika. He controlled himself somehow and picked up the call.

VD: Hello

Mallika: Hello uncle. Vaishu mera phone nhi utha rahi. Kaha par hai?

VD couldn't control and a sob escaped his lips.

Mallika: Hello uncle. Sab theek hai na? Vaishu aunty sab theek hai na? Aap theek ho na?

VD told her about Vaish's accident. She came their in sometime. Vaish was shifted to the room. They saw her from outside. Pipes were attached to her body. Her face was covered with dressing. None of them was able to see her condition.

By next day, Vaish gained consciousness. Doctor checked her and told them about her condition and left them alone.

VD and VM talked to her for sometime. Then they left her with Mallika.

Mallika: Tu theek hai na?

Vaish nodded slowly.

Mallika: Kal se Abhi ke calls aur messages aa rahe hai. Maine uthaya nhi mujhe laga wo tension mein aa jaega. Ab tujhe hosh aa gyi to we can tell him I guess

Vaish: Nahin

Mallika: Hmm?

Vaish: Iss baare mein Abhi ko koi kuch nhi batayega

Mallika: But he deserves to know

Vaish: Nhi. Tujhe meri kasam Mallika tu Abhi ya hamare group mein se kisi ko bhi kuch nhi batayegi

Mallika: But...

Vaish: Agar tune mujhe kabhi kuch maana hai to nhi batana. Aur agar wo tujhe call kare to just tell him ki I am out of station for some work aur mere phone ka network nhi hai

Mallika: Vaishu usko aese kaise ignore kar sakti hai?

Vaish: Just do as I am saying

Mallika: Ya to usse sach sach batake khud decide kar lene de

Vaish: Mein usse nhi bol paaoongi

Mallika: But this is not right. Jo tu kar rahi hai wo galat hai

Vaish: Please mein jo bol rahi hu wo kar

Mallika sighed and agreed. Vaish got discharged after 3 days. Abhi tried calling and messaging her multiple times but she kept ignoring him. Mallika also kept dodging his questions. He was really worried and frustrated now.

Finally after one week, Abhi reached Vaish's home without informing anyone. He rang the bell. VM opened it.

VM: Abhi tum yaha? V..vaishu ghar par nhi hai

She said stuttering. But Abhi's inner voice said he should go inside and listened to it. He went inside inspite of VM trying to stop him.
