Chapter 27

Sid brought a taxi. Abhi took Avu out of hospital on her wheelchair. He picked her in his arms and made her sit in car. Girls were in dorm waiting for them. They reached their dorm and paid the driver. Abhi picked her up and took her to girls room.

Avu: Abhi I can walk

She got quite after getting one glare from him. Sid chuckled at them. Avu pouted. Sum shooked his head. They reached the room and Sid knocked it. Mallika opened the door. Room was decorated. Welcome back was written on wall with balloons. There was a cake kept on a table. Fairy lights were there. Avu smiled widely seeing everything.

Vaish looked at Abhineet and felt a bit hurt seeing him carrying her. But she shrugged her thoughts thinking she is unwell. That's why only Abhi is taking care of her and he doesn't love her.

Mallika: Welcome back Avni

Avu: Thanks

Abhi made her sit on chair in front of table where cake was kept. Mallika gave her the knife.

Avu: You guys also join me na

Everyone held her hand and they cut the cake. They fed a bit of it to Avu. They chit chatted for sometime. Then Abhi brought medicines for Avu.

Avu: I don't want

Abhi: I didn't ask you. Just take them quickly

Avu: Noooo

She whinned.

Abhi: I said take it without any kind of drama

Avu: (mumbled) I hate you

She took the medicines. Abhi picked her up and laid her on bed and covered her with blanket. He caressed her hair softly and kissed her forhead. She closed her eyes and a smile crept on her face. All awwed at them. Vaish was a bit jealous but she ignored it.

Abhi: Now sleep. No masti

He ordered her and boys left bidding them bye. At night, Abhi brought dinner for her in room.

Abhi: Vaish, Mallika tum dono dinner karlo. Sid aur Sumedh bhi gaye hai. I will feed Avu

Mallika: Ok

They both left. Abhi made her sit and fed her dinner. Avu took a bite and put it in front of his mouth.

Avu: I know you also haven't eaten anything. So have it

Abhi: I will eat later

Avu: Noo it's already 8:30. Have it or I am not eating

Abhi ate with her.

Abhi: Now sleep

Avu: I am not sleepy Abhi. I am sleeping since evening. Now I can't

Abhi: Okk. So you have your medicines on time. I will leave once Vaish and Mallika come

Avu: It's okk if you want to go

Abhi: Mein iss monster ko akele nhi chhod sakta na. Sick monster.

He said pulling her cheeks. She slapped his hand.

Avu: Don't call me monster.

Just then Vaish and Mallika came.

Vaish: Avi you had dinner?

Avu: Yee

Vaish: Abhi you also quickly go and have it. Warna mess band ho jaegi

Abhi: I had it

Vaish: Kab?

Abhi: I had it with Avni?

Vaish saw only one plate and spoon.

Vaish: Oh

Abhi: I guess I should leave. Avi be careful and guys please take care of her

Vaish nodded with a forced smile.

Vaish: You don't have to say that Abhi. She is our best friend and roommate as well. It's our duty to take care of her

Abhi smiled at them and bid them bye. Avu was genuinely happy seeing Abhi caring for her.

Vaish: Avu I have a test tomorrow so I need to study. If you need anything tell me immediately

Avu nodded. Vaish and Mallika sat down to study. Avu was getting bored so she also took her books and studied a bit. Later Vaish gave her medicines. She showed a bit of tantrums but Vaish forced her to have them. Then Vaish helped her to go to washroom. She laid her on bed properly.

Vaish: Wake me up if you need something

Avu smiled at her and nodded.

Vaish: Good night

She went to her bed and scrolled her phone. There was a message from Abhi "Did Avi took medicines?" She replied "Yes" and went to sleep.

Next morning, Abhi again came with breakfast along with Sid and Sum.

Sid: Good morning guys

Vaish: Morning

Abhi: You guys go to college. I will be with Avi and take care of her

Avu: I am fine now. You all can go. Kyu study kharab kar rahe ho?

Abhi: You need someone to take care of you

Sum: Abhi tu ek week se leave par hai. Tera bohot loss ho raha hai

Abhi: But Avu ko akele thoda chhod sakte hai

Sum: Mein kidar bol raha hu akele chhodne ko? Hum bari bari roz ruka karenge. Aese zyada loss bhi nhi hoga

Abhi: Guys tum logo ko takleef uthane ki zaroorat nhi hai

Mallika: Abhi Avu na sirf tumhari dost nhi. Hum sab ki bhi hai. Uska khyaal hum rakh sakte hai

Abhi: Achha okk

They used to stay one person each day with Avu. Rest all used to go to college. Abhi used to keep messaging that person if Avu was alright or not.

After a week

Abhi was taking Avu for doctor's appointment. She got ready. Everyone went down to see Abhineet off. They were waiting for taxi so Abhi made Avu sit on a chair.

Sum: Guys dhyaan se jana and don't worry sab theek hoga

Just then Mallika shouted excitedly.

Mallika: Uncle auntyyy

Vaish's back was facing the door. She turned around and smiled widely seeing her parents. She ran towards them and hugged them tightly.

Mallika: Guys ye Vaishu ke mom dad hai

Vaish brought them near the group.

Vaish: Guys ye mere parents

Sid: Namaste aunty uncle

VD: Namaste beta

Vaish: Dad ye Siddharth hai aur ye uska cousin Sumedh

They both touched their feet.

VD: Bless you both

Vaish: Aur ye Abhishek aur Avneet. You know AV and AM Association right? Ye unke owners ke bache hai

VD: Ya I have heard a lot about it. And their owners, they passed away recently right? I am so sorry for your loss beta

Abhi: Yes uncle but ab kya kar sakte hai

VD was asking about his company but their taxi came and Abhi quickly bid them bye and left.

Vaish's P.O.V.

This is not done. Papa itne pyaar se baat kar rahe the. 5 minutes khade hokar agar baat kar leta to kya jaata iska. I know check up important hai but 10-15 minutes late bhi jaenge to kya hoga? Khade hokar achhe se baat to kar leta. Aesa bhi kya ho jata? Avu maanti hu uski dost hai. Meri bhi no doubt bohot achhi friend hai. I genuinely care for her. But mein bhi to friend hu na Abhi ki to he can talk to my parents properly. The hell he thinks of himself. Hmf!!!!!
