Dream girl

Lauren's POV

With the music playing. I waited and started to sing. This is it.

"Once in a lifetime means there's no second chance so I believe that you and me should grab it while we can." I closed my eyes and stood up to see if anyone heard me.

"Make it last forever and never give it back" I heard it her voice. It was something I hadn't heard before. It was unique. It was rich and beautiful.I turned to look from the person it was coming from but I couldn't find her. It was a her. It wasn't Keaton or any other person.

"It's our turn, and I'm loving' where we're at" I sang. My eyes took in everything that was around me yet I couldn't find her.

"Because this moment's really all we have" We sang together. Then I saw her appear from behind a tree. She walked out from here hiding with her hands behind her back. I couldn't help but have a smile on my face. It had been her all along. I should've known.

"Everyday of our lives," I sang even happier than before. I smiled.

"Wanna find you there, wanna hold on tight." We sang together. It felt special She started walking closer to me and I did too.

"Gonna run" I sang speeding up a little.

"While we're young and keep the faith" She winked. Her voice was perfect. She was perfect. And it was stunning.

"Everyday" I sang.

"From right now, gonna use our voices and scream out loud" We sang standing a couple of feet away from each other she extended her hand.

"Take my hand;" She sang and I did. I couldn't help but smile.

"together we will celebrate," I sang looking in her eyes and squeezing her hand.

"celebrate!" She sang with a passion I couldn't describe.

"Oh, ev'ryday." We sang looking straight at each other smiling like idiots.

"They say that you should follow" She let go and started running to the playground. And walked backwards.

"and chase down what you dream," I followed her and to the slide. It seemed like she had the lyrics perfectly planned with an action. It was beyond perfection.

"But if you get lost and lose yourself" She slid down.

"what does is really mean?" I sang following her.

"No matter where we're going," She sang while going on the swing.

"it starts from where we are." This was cheesy but it felt like a movie. We sat down and continued to swing and sing.

"There's more to life when we listen to our hearts" She said pointing to her heart.

"and because of you, I've got the strength to start. Yeah, yeah, yeah!" I winked at her singing.

"Everyday of our lives," We sang together.

"wanna find you there, wanna hold on tight" I was memorized by her voice.

Gonna run while we're young and keep the faith. Everyday.

From right now, gonna use our voices and scream out loud." She then extended her arm knowing the next line.

"Take my hand; together we will celebrate," She sang and I immediately did as told.

"Oh, ev'ryday

We're taking it back, we're doing it here together!" I sang. With that she let go and jumped off the swing and extended her hand to me.

It's better like that, and stronger now than ever!" I jumped off and grabbed her hand.

"We're not gonna lose.'Cause we get to choose. That's how it's gonna be!" We sang together as we walked back to the table.

"Everyday of our lives," I sang.

"wanna find you there, wanna hold on tight." She said giving me a hug.

"And keep the faith. Keep the faith! Everyday of our lives, wanna find you there, wanna hold on tight. Gonna run while we're young and keep the faith. Ev'ryday! Ev'ryday! Ev'ryday! Ev'ryday! Ev'ryday!" I heard different voices and for a second I thought we weren't alone and I saw the girls singing in harmony behind us.

"Ev'ryday" She sang that last line and a smile grew on my face. The girls cheered and whistled. This moment is the highlight of my existence.

"So it was you all along." I couldn't believe.She smiled.

"If it means you feel the same way." She said looking down. I grabbed her chin. Her eyes are beautiful. Her eyes were moistened.

"Of course Camz." The moment was perfect. I looked down at her lips and started leaning in.

"Lauren!" I heard a voice scream my name. I woke up with my alarm ringing beside me. I blinked several times. Was that a dream? That whole thing was a dream? Who was that girl and why did I just have a whole dream with her? Why did if feel so perfect? There was a knock on my door.

"Lauren wake up honey or you'll be late to the first day back to school." My mom said from behind the closed door.

"Ok!" I yelled back.

I got ready and went downstairs to get breakfast.

"Hey people." I told my family that was busy eating.

"Lauren. I think Vero is here." My mom said as I sat down. I looked at the clock. I was running late. Crap.

"Bye." I grabbed a banana, my backpack and kissed my parents goodbye. I ran out of the house and saw them. Vero and Lucy were outside waiting. One things about my dream was true they were dating.

"Hey." I said getting into the back seat.

"What took you so long? We've been waiting outside for five minutes. We're going to be late." Vero replied.

"Well its nice to see you too. You could have knocked you know and I had a weird dream and didn't wake up." I replied as we drove towards the school. Weird is an understatement.

"About what?" Lucy asked.

"Uhh....nothing...just unicorns and dragons." I shyly replies.

"Right! unicorns," she looked at me and fluttered her eyelashes.

"Now I want to know. If it makes you all nervous thinking about it. Did you have a wet dream? Is that what you're hiding" Vero commented.

"No. Can we just drop it." I snapped back.

"Fine." They said in sync. Creepy.

I really didn't want to talk about it but I couldn't stop thinking about the girl in my dream. We arrived at school and it was all the same. The day has gone so slow and it hasn't even started. I had to physics first with Lucy. Vero had math which sucks because its first period.

I was walking when I noticed her. It can't be. Oh my god. It was her. It is her. I felt the world just stopped revolving. It was as if time froze. I must be dreaming again. I had to be. All I could do was just stare at her. The girl of my dreams.
