I fly my followers to Egypt. They are tired and numb, but in the name of those before them, they come faithfully, willingly. Upon land they drive to the site, where it will all begin.

"I want to thank you for all you have done," I tell them. "I would not have survived without you. Tonight--" I nod to Chinzara. "you will see what no mortal has seen." I offer my hand.

Chinzara takes it, and I feel tears come to my eyes. Truly I cannot remember in my time back then or now a more faithful one. I fly us to the Sphinx.

"Where are we going--ah!" Chinzara cries as we go into the secret entrance

"Where are we going--ah!" Chinzara cries as we go into the secret entrance. I take him down to the hall that leads to the circular temple. He gasps to go toward it.

"No." I tell him. I go to the middle of the hall where the altar is. I raise the altar to reveal that it is extended cadems below this surface. I set it aside.

"This was hidden and built so that mortals could not descend," I explain

"This was hidden and built so that mortals could not descend," I explain. I take him in my arms. "But we can."

"Where are we going?" Chinzara asks. "What will do?"

We reach bottom and go through a long undecorated corridor. I finally set him down and smile at him. "We are going to what my mother and father left for me." I use heat vision to light a torch and we walk down steps to a room.

"You have no information of the woman?" Black Adam asks. "I sense great magic, great power in her, fit for a queen."

"We don't know nothing," the soldier said pleadingly. "We were ordered to attack."

"And you thought you could defeat her?" he asks.

"We were ordered--"

"I love sheep," he chuckles. "Just tell them where to go--" He kicked the soldier into a wall, where his body impacted and landed lifeless. "And they go." He sits back on his throne. "No matter, I will do what any god will do: watch, wait, and in my time...? Win."

Hey, thanks for reading. I am doing some deep studying of DC Universe once again. I don't like to do Marvel or DC without studying characters and arcs, so I will be quiet on the DC thing for awhile, because I do it because I love it, passionate about it. So...comments appreciated, and stay tuned.
