When Hyunjung woke up. She felt as though her arm was about to break.

Why was it so painful, what exactly did she do last night?!

Her mind couldn’t be in more confusion. She only vaguely remembered that she went to dinner with Jiyeon and that she had some alcohol, but she forgot everything else.

She couldn’t help but panic fearing that she had done something embarrassing. She decided to get up and go to the bathroom to wash her face and calm down.

But just as she put on her slippers and before she could fully stand up, she suddenly felt weak in her legs.

She couldn’t stand firmly and with a “Thump” she fell to the ground.

A sensation of pain arose from her skin making contact with the ground. She felt like she was going to die from how much it hurt, all of her sleepiness disappearing. Her waist hurt, her legs hurt, and her arms hurt.

It was as though her entire body was falling apart . . .

“???”

She was completely dumbfounded.

Jiyeon was still concerned about Hyunjung's state and instinctively clicked on her Twitter to take a look.

She thought that there probably wouldn’t be anything new, but after a casual scroll, she found something.

There were two new posts, both seemingly long at a glance, but the content was rather simple. One was full of question marks, and the other was to remind herself to be vigilant and never drink to the point she’d black out in the future.

It was also followed by multiple “boo hoo hoo” and “so embarrassing”.

She began to worry about if Hyunjung, perhaps, remembered something embarrassing.

It was still early, enough for her to go back to sleep, but she couldn’t put her mind to rest. After some hesitation, she decided to not go back to sleep. She put on her slippers and got up.

She washed up and didn’t even stop to eat breakfast to catch the bus. And she arrived at the company much faster than usual.

She's early today, so it’d be a while before her coworkers came. Looking around, she only saw Assistant Nam, who was standing next to the printer and making copies.

“Ei, good morning, Jiyeonsshi,” Seeing her come in, Assistant Nam promptly smiled and greeted her, “You’re so early today.”

“Yeah,” she also smiled in response, “I woke up a little earlier than usual today, and thinking that there were still things to deal with, I directly came here.”

The “things to deal with” is in quotes, for it referred to the crybaby.

But that crybaby hadn’t arrived yet, so she couldn’t find the person she needed to deal with.

She then exchanged a few words with Assistant Nam and went to sit down at her workstation.

Typing on the keyboard, she opened her email and sent a few documents to the Production Department. Afterward, she subconsciously raised her head to look around.
