2 WEEKS LATER

Dan's POV

"When can we see her?" Phil asked me for the twentieth time since Jamie was taken to solitary.

"I don't know Phil. I told you that yesterday." I replied slightly irritated with the constant question.

"Do you think we could ask?"

"Phil, I told you, I'm going to ask after breakfast!" Phil took a step away from me after I snapped at

him. "I'm sorry." Phil nodded a little and moved back to my side as we entered the cafeteria.

"Hey Dan." Gerard greeted me as Phil and I slid into our booth.

"Hey."

"Have you gotten to see Jamie yet?" Frank asked and I let out a frustrated sigh. "What?"

"Nothing." I grumbled and took a drink of coffee before answering Frank's question. "No, I haven't

gotten to see her yet. I'm going to ask after breakfast." Frank nodded and looked back down at his pancakes.

"Do you think they’ll let me see her too?" Gerard asked, looking like a sad little puppy.

"I don't know how many people they'll let in at one time…"

"Maybe after you?" He asked hopefully and I felt bad seeing him like this.

"I don't see why not." He smiled at me and I jumped a little when Mikey suddenly walked by me and

spoke.

"Why the hell should he be going first? He barely knows her." Mikey snapped and sat down in his

usual seat.

"He was there when she broke, he has every right to see her first." Frank commented and Dan smiled

to himself a little; Frank hadn't shown a lot of friendliness towards him since he showed up, but he's been much friendlier than Mikey.

"So…" I zoned out as Gerard and Frank started talking about something and I sighed, not really

wanting to eat.

"You need to eat something, Dan." Phil pestered me and I glared at him a little, even though I knew

he was right. I ate my pancakes in silence and I suddenly wanted to cry as I remembered when Phil and I would make pancakes back home in England. Not these kind of pancakes though, British pancakes. The good pancakes.

"You okay Dan?" I looked up at Gerard confused and he frowned. "You looked like you were about

to cry."

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." I sighed and kept eating the pancakes.

"Daniel?" I looked up when a nurse walked up to our booth. "Nurse Joy wanted me to pass along that

you are allowed to see Jameson once you've finished your breakfast."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Jameson? I thought her name was just Jamie."

The nurse smiled sweetly. "No, no, she just likes people to think that's her real name." I nodded a

little and returned my attention to my pancakes once again. "You three are also allowed to see her after you've finished your breakfast, but only one visitor at a time."

"Thank you." Gerard gave the nurse a kind smile and the nurse left. "You can go first Dan. I think it'd

be best." I frowned a little, but nodded. He gave me a reassuring smile and went back to eating his pancakes.
