type 1: one-sided. they will ask you for favours and you will be their shoulder they cry on and you'll be their step up but when it comes to you they go "mehhh" and pull themselves back until they need you again. terrible.
type 2: THE FUCKING LET-ME-DOWNS. You have no idea how I hate these types of friends. When you go, "Oh my god, I just got this super cool pink dress!" And they go "mehhhh pink doesn't look good on you." Like STEP OFF LET ME ENJOY MY HAPPINESS OKOK ITS ALL ME NOT YOU FUCK OFF
but when it comes to the point where there are two or more points of views YOU have your own opinion YOU do not have to stick by a friend's side 1102992093% of the time okay YOU are not obligated to follow anything
AND if they get mad at you for doing so and supposedly "not supporting for what she's saying" like of course if what she's saying is 110% good and the good guy in the whole equation (depending on the situation) then yeh but you can do what you want i mean i have no say but thats it m8
but trust me. losing those toxic friends is like cutting the veins from ur garden of you like ngl i have this friend and she's my babe but she's so loud and annoying and there are times where whenever she talks i just get so frustrated and i want her to shut up and then it hits me sometimes like "aww i love her" then "aww i hate her" then i ignore her for like hours until the love hits again
and TODAY I WAS IN FRENCH CLASS AND THIS FRIEND OF MINE WAS SITTING NEXT TO ME AND WE WERE LAUGHING OVER TATE LANGDON DURING HIS DAYS IN X-MEN AND I SQUEAL WHEN I LAUGH AT A CERTAIN PEAK AND SHE CALLED ME CUTE AND SHE WAS ALL SMILEY CAUSE A SQUEALED AND SHE WAS LIKE "oh my god kodi u fucking squealed OH MY GOD YOURE SO CUTE LIKE THATS SO CUTE" and even if i didn't know her before and we are a lil close i know that i am not getting rid of her ever.
it doesn't matter how close you are to someone okay IT DOES NOT YOU CAN KNOW EACH OTHER FOR MONTHS TO YEARS AND MAYBE THAT PERSON YOU'VE KNOWN FOR YEARS COULD BE THE TOXIC FRIEND. and who knows, maybe it must've taken years for you to realize that but it's okay. all that matters is that you don't keep toxic friends around.
in fact, do it right now. log out from wattpad and go text/facebook/comment on your friends instagram (which is rlly ugly now im sorry) and tell them you need to talk because if they are there dragging you down with every word they say and every day that passes it will be a damn pain in the back and trust me i'm such a coward all i've been doing is smiling politely and being walked all over and my back hurts like shit for that but i will get rid of my weeds soon aaannddd there's the indirect explanation go me for trying to be poetic ok
