"C'mon, Moons! It'll just be for a laugh, hon," Sirius utters softly. "Reg probably won't even buy it!" He adds, hoping to convince his husband.

Remus shakes his head. "This is stupid,"

James groans. "Yeah, stupidly funny," He smirks. "C'mon, please? For me? Rems, for me?"

Remus wrinkles his nose slightly. "How is it funny to send your ex husband a picture of my pregnancy test?" He asks, his voice steady.

James shrugs. He doesn't have an answer. "It'll be funny," He defends. "He'll think I'm knocked up and then we'll all have a right laugh about it, won't we?"

"James-" Remus starts, hesitantly.

"Remus, love, it'll be just for a laugh, this isn't exploiting our kid, hon," Sirius starts. "Besides, Regulus has literally dodged us sincthe divorce, it'll lighten the mood and then it'll make for a great reveal to let him know that we're expecting, not Prongs,"

Remus bites his lip, unsure. After a long few minutes of silence, he sighs. "Okay, okay, fine," He gives in. "But I'm not taking the backlash of this. You two fools can take full responsibility,"

James frowns. "Hey, what's wrong with you, Moony? You usually love a prank," He says softly.

"Pregnancy hormones, right, hon?" Sirius chuckles gently, wrapping an arm around Remus' shoulder, pulling him closer to press a kiss to his cheek. "We'll end it as soon as we start it. Nobody's going to get hurt over this, don't be worrying, darling,"

Remus shakes his head. "Just...just take the blood picture," He sighs, holding out his test. The test that James had him to again, despite how he is already seven months pregnant.

"Okay, okay, okay!" James grins as he reaches into his pocket to retrieve his phone. He quickly takes the test from Remus and snaps a picture, ensuring to avoid touching the area Remus had peed on. "Look convincing?" He inquires, arching an eyebrow.

"No, take it again," Remus instructs, seemingly amused now.

It takes James two more tries but he eventually gets an appropriate photo. He smirks as he types out his text.

Oops. Felt I should let you know??

He hits send without another second thought.

"Do you think he'll believe it?" Remus asks.

James nods, chuckling. "Oh, he'll believe it alright,"

Sirius grins. "I...I didn't even think you would be the one to get knocked up-"

"I wouldn't be," James chirps. "But...but one of the last times, um, I was the...the um...well, y'know," He shrugs. "It was one of our last times together before we finalized the divorce,"

"I see," Remus nods. He wraps an arm around himself, curling into himself. "How...how are you doing? Regarding the divorce?" He eyes James.

James shrugs once more. "I'm fine. Everything is fine. It isn't like we bloody hate each other, we ended on good terms. It...it just wasn't supposed to be, I suppose. I haven't spoken with Reg in awhile, so perhaps this little practical joke will get us back chatting,"

Sirius doesn't want to address how hopeful James sounds. He simply nods. "He hasn't spoken to me in a bit. I think he's just taking some time to himself,"

"Mmh," James hums. His phone buzzes and he almost feels giddy at the idea of Regulus texting him back. "I have gotten a reply," He grins.

"Share with the class, won't you," Remus rolls his eyes. James watches as Sirius pulls Remus into his lap, curling a hand over Remus' belly.
