Khalil -

I looked at Teyana's eyes flutter open slowly.

"How you feel?" I mumbled, in my sleepy voice. It's 5 in the morning, her surgery was scheduled for 3 AM, I haven't slept since.

"I'm alright, Khalil." She rubbed her stomach.

"They said the surgery went beautifully."

She softly laughed, I could tell she was still under anesthesia.

"You love me?" I asked her.

"Everyday." She closed her eyes.

"I love you too & I know that we'll make it through this, shawty." I kissed her hand, "this isn't your fault."

"Thank you." She slowly drifted in and out.

"You tired, Teyana?"

"Yes, I wanna go home."

"You shouldn't walk for about a day or two baby girl."

"Why?"

"It'll hurt you."

"Can't hurt me anymore than you already have." She said.

"Don't say that, you know I don't mean to hurt you."

In a drowsy state, she began crying.

"Khalil, you had sex with everyone and then left me because of a bad comment, you praise everyone else and leave me high and dry to pick up the pieces of a shattered relationship and a broken heart. You think a ring will fix that?"

I didn't really know what to do or say at this point because I'm not sure if she's in her right state of mind.

"Babe.. I don't know, I just thought-"

"Stop talking and answer the question." She snapped.

I sat there silently with a stupid ass look on my face.

"So now you don't hear me?"

"Babe, I-"

"Shut up!" She spat. She rolled her eyes and mumbled, "idiot" as she turned on her side.

I sighed and leaned back in the chair, covering my face.

"Teyana, Imma go home a shower & change clothes." I finally said after 20 minutes.

"Mhm."

"You want something?"

"Mhm."

"Well what do you want?" I started to get frustrated.

"Just get me some sweats and a shirt... & a pad, the doctors said I might bleed." She whispered.

"Teyana, speak up, shit. Acting like Sariah."

She smacked her lips.

"Shirt.Sweats.Pad. Better? Bye." She said with a lot of attitude.

"Whatever." I walked out.

Hopefully that's just the meds talking because my pride is too strong to let her just snap on me and then me not say nothing. I got in my car when I got a phone call from Lauren. I put my phone on Bluetooth & pulled out the parking lot.

"What's up?"

"Hi daddy !!!" I heard Sariah squeal.

"Hey baby girl!"

"I miss you."

"I miss you too, what you doing in your moms phone."

"I found it on the couch."
