This is my first book, so if you have any expectations, drop them, you'll get disappointed by the writing. Though the scenes aren't as bad, so maybe you should give it a try.

I woke up today feeling great. It's been a week since the whole thing with the hospital and I'm getting along with all the people here. And today me and Athena decided to have a pool day then go get our nails done! I'm so excited.
It was 8 am so I got up and hopped in the shower and put on a black long sleeved shirt with leather pants.

I felt cute and I was excited. I went downstairs and Rio was behind me. I put him some dog food and water. While I waited for him to finish I grabbed a protein bar a was scrolling on Instagram.
I started eating more and I put on the few pounds I lost. So I looked a bit healthy and not too skinny.
After Rio finished I put on his leash and went out for him to pee as usual. I have seen anyone around which wasn't a surprise at. they are in the mafia what do I expect?
Rio peed and I went inside the house with him and saw Athena sitting on the kitchen chair eating a donut. A DONUT!
I went and sat next to her and took the donut out of her hand and took a bite "that was mine." She said in a groan. "Should've gotten me one too." I said
"Open the fridge. It's full of them." She said and I shot up and ran to the fridge. And opened it "this is heaven on earth." I said to myself as I pulled out the box of donuts and put one in a plate and into the microwave.
After it was done heating, I took it out and ate it "this is so good" I said mouthful.
After I was done I grabbed Athena and ran upstairs with her so we can get dressed in our bikinis. Mine was a two piece neon green one and hers was a black one.
