"You can't keep your job, at least not right now. I could get your information in the system but even if I pay for it you couldn't live like a normal privileged woman because you won't have rights for illegally tricking the system. Or I could get your rights and more." He plated his offer on a silver platter and Alice didn't believe he was this nice.
"How can you do the second option?" She dared to ask and he took a short pause. Alice had so much hope she wouldn't be imprisoned or jobless.
"By marrying me."
