Dan: As the plane landed, you and Dan were nervously waiting for the seatbelt sign to turn off. Your plane ended up being delayed over an hour due to the weather, which made your layover between your current trip and the next plane about ten minutes, instead of two hours. “As you prepare to exit the aircraft, please make way for two passengers who need to catch a nine o’clock flight,” the flight attendant announced. Once the plane came to a stop, you and Dan quickly grabbed your carry-ons and ran off the plane, making sure to thank the flight attendant before you left. “Ok. We need to get to gate A3 within eight minutes,” you pointed out as you glanced quickly at your boarding pass. “You ready to make a run for it?” You nodded and the two of you began weaving in and out of the crowds of people, almost fully running. You got to the gate two minutes before the doors closed. “I’m really glad we decided to take up running,” Dan stated as you two sat down in your seats, completely out of breath.

Phil: You had already gotten through security and were waiting for Phil to do the same. He went through the body scanner and then proceeded to be patted down. “Sir, we’re going to need you to step aside,” the TSA agent stated sternly as she grabbed Phil’s arm. Phil looked over at you with a confused look on his face as he stepped to the side. You picked up your bag and walked over to them as they began to walk towards a room. “What’s going on?” you asked the woman. “Routine interrogation,” she replied as if it were something that happened every day. “You can wait here, ma’am. This shouldn’t take long,” she continued as she motioned to a seat outside of the interrogation room. You sat down and watched as she and Phil walked into the room. A couple minutes later, he emerged. “What was that about?” you asked. Phil shrugged. “I dunno. They just asked where I was going and how long I was staying. She said they pick a couple of random people every day. But look! I got a wonderful mugshot,” he laughed as he showed you the photo.
