For weeks, Akari and her family had been preparing for their wedding that was coming up soon. She even had to skip school a few times to stay and help. But at last, the day finally came. Akari invited Natsu and everyone else to the wedding as well, cause she figured it would be more fun to have them there.

Akari was dressed in a velvet colored dress, with her normal ponytail slightly curled and styled. "Hey, Akari!" She looked over and immediately blushed. Natsu was wearing a beautiful pastel pink dress with her hair down and slightly instead of her usual pigtails. She looked so beautiful, that Akari just couldn't look away. "You look....beautiful." Akari slightly stuttered out. "Thanks....you look pretty...too." Natsu complimented her back, blushing as well. Aika and Momoka looked at each other, smiling.

Soon enough, the wedding began and the two of them each gave their vows and ended with a kiss. After that, it was time for the dance ceremony. Aika and Momoka danced together, while Kaori, Pearl and Toshiro tried out some of the food. As Akari watched her father and new mother dance together, she couldn't help but feel some sort of nervousness. Her father had just made a commitment to this woman and even though she well trusted her, she still couldn't help but feel unsure and worried about all this. After all, her real mother was the same before they moved seven years ago. Would the same thing happen again?

Akari was interrupted from her thoughts when Natsu appeared. "Everything okay, Akari?" She asked, handing her a drink. "Yeah, I'm just wondering if my dad made the right choice. I trust my new mother and all, but I can't help but feel nervous and cautious." She admitted. "That's experience from last time huh." Natsu replied. She put her hand on Akari's shoulder. "I know it's hard to know who to trust especially after all this, but you managed to give her a chance in the end and she returned it in full. And I have a feeling that she's going to be an amazing mother to you."

Akari looked over to them again and smiled. "You know what? I think you're right." She stepped back, nervously looking at the ground before reaching her hand out to Natsu. "May I have this, dance?" She asked, blushing. Natsu smiled and took her hand. "I would love to." The two headed to the dance floor and danced gracefully into the night. Everyone stopped and watched the two dance in awe, including their friends. Natsu loved this as it felt just like a fairytale. A fairytale dance between a prince and a princess.

Akari was enjoying it too. Dancing with the one she loved more than anything else in the world. The one who lifted her back to her feet, when things fell down. She never wanted this night to end. Meanwhile, Onyx was wandering in the forest, plotting to lure Akari with his Double Dark Sparkle to defeat her. A bit after the dance, Akari noticed a flashing light and left the party, assuming it was a Crystal Light. But sure enough, she saw Onyx and a Double Dark Sparkle. "We meet again, Cure Ruby. Ready for our final showdown?" He sneered.

"In your dreams." She took out her locket and transformed. "The steel jewel of determination! Cure Ruby!" She faced the Dark Sparkle at full force and fought with all her might. It was strong and she was weak against it, but she wasn't going to give up. She wasn't going to let herself be defeated, cause there was still a lot she hasn't lived for yet. She didn't care about the past anymore as it's in the past. She's looking forward to the future and what glorious things awaits her there.

"I will not....let myself be defeated by the likes of you. I still have so much to live for. So....I'll protect it no matter what, even if it means taking down you!" Her power level began to rise and she transformed into her knightly form on her own. She fought off the Dark Sparkle with a massive amount of strength, managing to weaken it. "Pretty Cure! Sparkling Jewel Blast!" She purified the Double Dark Sparkle within no time at all. She returned back to the wedding as if nothing happened.

At the end of the day, everything went perfectly. Akari walked Natsu back home, chatting as they went along. "Okay, I'll see you back at school! Bye, Kari!" "Kari?" She asked. "Oh it's a nickname. Do you not like it?" "Oh no! It's not that! I was just surprised is all." She waved Natsu goodbye and blushed intensely over the nickname. "Natsu actually gave me a nickname, omg!" She panicked inside her head.

"Does she actually like me if that's the case?" Akari wondered as she headed back home. "Well regardless, I had a lot of fun with her and everyone else tonight."
