Chapter Thirty One

Warrior

Jerra's POV

"Your Majesty, the Kingdom is Under attack!"

Nabalot ang boung kusina ng takot at gulat mula sa mga serbidora at ang mga taong naninilbihan  matapos marinig ang biglaang sumbong ng isang kawal.

"What's happening?" Kasabay na pumasok sina Timothy at ang boung Wyverians na kagaya namin ay nagulat din sa biglaang pagsabog na nangyari.

Both Leo and I exchanged looks before he instantly left us without leaving any word. I was so flustered that my heart pounded so fast.

"The Kingdom is currently under attack." I told them.

"Paano nangyari?" Kate asked.

"It must be the monsters inside the forest." I answered. The ground started to rattle again after another explosion occurred.

Lumapit ako sa bintana kung saan kitang kita ang apoy na Dahang dahan sinasakop ang mga bahay na malapit lamang sa southeast gate kung saan nanggaling ang pagsabog.

The explosion started a fire burning every houses near the gates. The smoke came from the fire started to grow. I could already hear the cries and screams from the people around the area.

"This is bad. Mas lalong lumaki ang apoy!" Komento ni Harper na kagaya ko ay nakatitig din sa lahat.

"We can't just stare and stay here." Napatango ako sa sinabi ni Harper.

"Kailangan nating tumulong." I said. Tumango naman sila.

"We need a plan." I heard Leila's voice before we turn our eyes towards Timothy.

"We need to divide ourselves into two groups." Lumapit saamin si Timothy.

"Wonter, Zyron, Leila, Eunna, Elyka, Jerra, Alex and Iverson I wan't you to come with me and bring weapons." Tumango naman kaming anim.

"Kate, Aizha, Heartylou, and Easter. I wan't you four to go to the village where the fire is currently located. Save  the people as many as you can."

"I'm leaving the people to the four of you so you could heal those who are injured and hurt. If we're not back yet, Once you're done, I wan't you four to go immediately through the forest."

"Paano si Harper?" Tanong bigla ni Heartylou matapos hindi nito banggitin ang pangalan niya.

"She can come with us." Sambit ni Leila na hindi naman pinigilan ni Timothy. Napakunot noo nalang ako.

"Let's go." Madali kaming nagkaintindihan bago umalis ng kusina at nagtungo sa mga kwarto namin upang kunin ang mga sandata namin.

Wala na akong oras para magbihis pa kaya hinayaan ko nalamang ang sarili kong sumabak na nakasout ang isang kulay blue kong dress ganun din sa mga kasama ko matapos kong makalabas.

"Are we all ready?" Binalingan namin si Timothy na kanina pang naghihintay saamin. We nod our heads at him.

"Kailangan na nating pumunta." I heard Wonter said.

Everyone in the palace seemed to be busy specially the royal Gaurds kaya madali lamang kami nakalabas ng palasyo. As we stepped outside the palace gates the people are already shouting for help as another explosion occurred.

Agad na humiwalay saamin sina Kate ng makarating kami sa southeast gate. A lot of knights were already laying down on the ground, taking a bath with their own blood and unconscious.

I knelt down at the unconscious knight and placed my fingers in it's neck. I took a sigh of relief after I felt how his heart is still beating.

"He's still alive." Sabi ko kay Heartylou ng makalapit ito saamin tumango siya saakin.
