"Okay Marinette. You can do this. Adrien is coming over to help you with physics, and you're not going to flip out about it. Got that?" She pointed to the mirror.

"Marinette. What are you doing?" Tikki asked, flying over to her.

"N-nothing!" She screeched.

She still hadn't told Tikki about what she had discovered.

"I thought you had gotten over Adrien. You two are friends now, so why are you freaking out?"

"Well, I..." Marinette flickered her eyes down to her feet. She absolutely hated lying to Tikki, but what choice did she have? Now wasn't the time to talk about how Adrien was Chat Noir. "I had a dream where we were dating last night and now I feel awkward about seeing him!" Marinette lied.

"Oh, I'm sorry, but I'm sure it won't be as bad as you think."

"Yeah, maybe." She muttered.

But what if she messed up and Adrien learned of her identity as well? Should she tell him her identity? Would it be unfair to know his, but for him to not know hers? Would she have to give her miraculous away? Would Su-Han break into her house while they were studying and demand for them back? The possibilities were endless!

'Ding dong!'

"He's here! I'm so not ready!" Marinette whispered shrieked.

"It's okay, Marinette! You've got this."

"Y-yeah. Totally."

"Now I suggest you go downstairs and let him in."

"R-right. Of course."

"Hey Marinette! How are you?" Adrien asked.

"I'm,"

'Stressed, freaking out, floating, dying.'

"Fine."

"You ready to get to work on physics?"

"Unfortunately. Is Mme. Mendeleiev trying to kill us?" She groaned.

"I kind of enjoyed the lecture."

"Not all of us are physics gods like you, Adrien."

"But aren't you glad you're friends with me so I can help you with my" he cleared his throat, "godliness?"

"Oh, be quiet." Marinette laughed.

Good, this was good! They were laughing and talking as usual. She hadn't screwed up yet.

"So what specifically do you need help on?"

"All of it. Physics is definitely not my strong suit."

"Don't worry, that's what I'm here for."

"Thanks again for helping."

"Course Marinette, it's the least I could do after everything you've done for me."

"Oh, um, it's really nothing."

"Mari, you've done so much to help my father loosen up. I can never thank you enough for that."

"You deserved it, trust me."

Now that she knew that he was Chat Noir, she knew even more about how terrible his father was. She felt awful about how she had never connected the dots. It was blatantly obvious now, from how he acted to how he talked about his home.

"So, why don't we head on up and you can tell me what you're struggling with? I know you said the entire worksheet was tricky, but is there a specific part that you didn't get?"
