Can we keep him?

*Y/n Pov*

I was currently hiding with a puppy in my arms, a very cute puppy I might add. Klaus told me to grab the dog and stay hidden while he and Stefan 'Handle business'. 

"Rudy....Rudy....RUDY" a girl yelled

"Rudy it's to hot for me to go looking for you" she wined

I sat there holding the dog making sure he didn't get lose. I listened as I heared the squeaker of a toy the dog moved a little but I looked down and put a finger to my lips.

"Shhhh" I said

The dog stopped moving right away and I smiled to myself.

"Excuse me do you have a phone, my car broke down a while back" Klaus says in a terrible American accent

"You don't have one" She said

I couldn't help but laugh lightly at this exchange between the two of them.

"Mine died I promise I'm not a serial killer I just need to borrow a phone" He said

"Alright" she finally gave in

"So I can come in" Klaus said

He is so awkward who has a conversation like this I had to hold in my laughter so I didn't ruin the plan. 

"No, I'll bring the phone out to you" she said 

"What ever happened to southern hospitality" Klaus said letting his British accent shine through

"I'm from Florida" she said 

I heared her footsteps and I could tell she was running towards the door but I knew she wouldn't make it.

"That explain it" he said 

I heared a swoosh followed by a girls muffled scream

"Now love how about you invite me in"

"Ok, you can come in" she whimpered out

"Thank you"

I came out of the hiding spot with the dog in hand and walked up to the front door. As I walked up both of them looked to me, Klaus smiled and the girl looked more scared.

"You find the dog yet, I swear he is going to be the death of us" A girl said  

I watch as she comes out of a backroom and when she sees us she screams and falls to the ground. 

"Well hello, do you mind inviting my friend in" Klaus says while pointing to the backdoor where Stefan stood

She hesitated before she finally let him in when Klaus bared his teeth near her friends neck. When Stefan walked in I walked away and back to the car with the dog in my hand. I opened the door and sat down in the front seat.

"What should I name you" I say holding the dog in my face

Before I could say anything else I hear the car doors open Stefan slides in the back and Klaus into the drivers seat. Once there both in the car their eyes go onto me well what I was holding.

"Y/n what is that" Klaus says

"Its a dog" I say

"Yes I know that but why do you have it" He said

"Well he has no one else " I say

"You are not keeping him" Klaus says

"Please Klaus I'll take care of him" I say 

"No y/n we are on a road trip we don't have time for a dog"

"I thought dogs stuck together, like a pack" I mumble

"I am not a dog, and he is not in my pack" Klaus says being very serious

"Klaus a wolf and dog are ancestors" I then smiled "oh do you want me to name you mini-Klaus" I say to the dog

"You are not naming the dog after me" Klaus says

"Fine, I'll choose something else" I ask

"I-" before Klaus could finish Stefan interrupted him "Just let her keep the dog"

"Thank you Stefan" I say

"I am seriously regretting taking you on this trip Stefan" Klaus says

"So I can keep him" I say with a huge smile

"Yes you can keep him" Klaus mumbled

"Yes" I shouted 

I leaned over and kissed Klaus on the cheek and then I gave the puppy a hug.
