*Next day*

*Klaus's Pov*

I woke up on the ground of the forest, as I wake I take in all my surroundings. As I look around clothes are thrown at my head. I look in the direction they were thrown from to find Elijah. 

"Well isn't this a surprise" I say

"Klaus you had your fun but I was promised by your girlfriend are family"

"Ah yes and how is my lovely y/n" 

"I have been a little busy cleaning up your mess to know" 

"Just like old times"

"Klaus..." he warned

"Someones a little grumpy but no worries you will be reunited with are family but first we need to check up on someone" and with that we went to the house

I walked up to the door and I couldn't wait to see her. I opened the door and As I did I got a whiff of different smells. I recognized almost every single scent but one,it was a different smell. I walked into the house and followed the scent. The Scent lead me to a bedroom and when I enter the room I found a an all to familer scent. I could feel rage fill me and at the same time my heart broke. I tried to come down but my rage got the better of me and I needed to talk to her right now. 

"Elijah we are going to have to make a stop at the grill" 

"Whats the matter"

"I need to talk to y/n"

I went down the stairs and made sure she wasn't in the house. Once I checked the house I went to the grill. I walk in and I find her right away she is alone and I find myself a little relieved. I watch as she grabs a bag of food a to go. I follow her out of the grill making sure not to be seen. I watch as she walks across town and to a hotel on the edge of town. She knocks on a door and a man answers and all my fears are confirmed y/n is cheating on me. She hugs him and hands him the bag of food. I thought she was going to go inside but she just waves bye and leaves. She starts to walk back into town and I then realize she going back to the house. I sped there so when she comes she'll see me. 

"Elijah do you mind giving me some alone time with y/n"

"Fine brother" with that he disappeared

I waited a minute before I finally heared the door open. I rose from sitting place and slowly crept towards her. She must have notice and right as I was about to be next to her she flew me across the room. I was thrown into a wall this impressed and angered me at the same. she walked over to me and right when she saw it was me I saw the regret hit her.

"Klaus, I'm so sorry you scared me" she went to help me

As she bent down to help me I moved so she wouldn't touch me. I wanted to look at her in disgust, she cheated that is disgusting. I was angry and I was getting more angry but not at her but myself when I looked at her I wasn't disgusted I was entranced.

"Whats the matter" she asked me

"You" I state

"What do you mean"

"I know what you did" I say

"You are going to have to be specific" 

"I know you cheated on me"

"WHAT" 

I saw that she was confused and angry but she had no right to be mad at me. 

"I saw you"

"You are crazy I would never"

"DO NOT LIE TO ME" I yelled

"I SWEAR I AM TELLING THE TRUTH" she yelled back at me

I let my anger get the better of me and I grabbed her by the throat and pushed her up against the wall.

"y/n I am giving you the chance to come clean" 

"I have nothing to come clean about"

"Y/n" I say in a warning tone

"Klaus" she mocks me

I am shocked that she dares mock me and if this was anyone else I would have ripped her heart out

"You are pushing my limits y/n" 

"May I ask what is this proof" she ask

"I came home and as I am walking through my house I catch a interesting smell, I follow it to a bedroom where I find yours and so I go to the grill to talk to you about it and I find you grabbing food and delivering it to a man in a hotel" Once I finish I start to hear her giggle

I squeeze her neck a little but she continues to laugh "Whats funny"

"You" 

"YOU WILL NOT SPEAK TO ME THIS WAY"

"Klaus you just misinterpreted everything" 

"What did I miss interpret"

"The man you saw is Kai I was trapped in the prison world with him, he helped me find out I am a witch and he taught me how to use it then when we escaped he helped me save your ass but he doesn't wan't anyone to know he is here so I let him stay one night here and yesterday I help him emerge into the world and got him into a hotel room"

"Thats all that happened?" I asked

"Yes, I swear" 

I felt a little stupid now that she explained it to me and how I was way off. 

"Hey Klaus wheres Elijah" she asks

"I told him to give me sometime alone"

"So we are alone then"

"Yes" and with that she kissed me and I kissed her back right away

I didn't realize how much I missed her kisses until this moment and I was so glad I was wrong about the cheating.
