What if the roles we play are just cages we build ourselves? Dr. Maya Osei is a therapist specializing in BDSM relationships, and she's exhausted. Every day, she sees couples tearing themselves apart trying to fit rigid roles-dominant, submissive, switch-as if the authenticity of their desire depended on their ability to stay in a box. She sees James insisting he's "a dominant by nature" while secretly dreaming of letting go. She sees Veronica forcing herself to be submissive when she sometimes wants to lead. The ideology of role fixity in the kink community is destroying exactly what it was meant to liberate: authentic desire. So Maya begins formulating a radical theory: what if roles were fluid? What if dominant and submissive weren't identities but states, contextual responses to the needs of the moment? What if true synergy in a relationship came from the ability to dance between roles rather than being locked into them? What begins as a therapeutic hypothesis becomes a personal revolution when Maya must apply her own theory to her life-and discover that deconstructing others' roles is easier than deconstructing her own.

After years of loyalty and sacrifice, Maley Rosavish watches the company she devoted her life to collapse under financial ruin. Swept away by a ruthless wave of layoffs, she is left with nothing. With no savings to rely on, she descends rapidly into poverty, losing not only her job and home, but the sense of stability that once anchored her life. Forsaken by those she considered family and friends, Maley is forced onto the streets. There, she crosses paths with Don, a mysterious homeless stranger. Bound by hardship, the two forge a fragile alliance as they battle each day for survival, clinging to the faint hope of escaping the merciless grip of homelessness. But a single night alters everything. During a police raid targeting the homeless, Maley is arrested and taken into custody. There she meets Officer Arthit Nevald, a woman whose icy, inscrutable façade conceals wounds of her own. What begins as a clash slowly morphs into a dangerous and deeply affecting connection. Entangled in a fierce struggle between forbidden desire, the harsh realities of life on the streets, and the echoes of trauma that refuse to fade, their lives collide in unexpected ways. And against all odds, their bond becomes a haunting turning point that redefines the very meaning of "fighting for survival.

Starting this blog feels like opening a long-kept journal that finally has space to breathe. I'm Anna Bennett, and most of my writing has been shaped quietly over the years through steady reading, curiosity, and a habit of learning without rushing. Much of that work lived in the background of my routine, tucked into calm moments when I could read, question, and think. This space gives me a chance to bring that process into the light and share how my ideas grow.

    || GRAND FAVORITE AMBYS 2025 || || SHORTLIST SHORTYS 2025 || [19x 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐒🏅] The word 'Terra' refers to the land of Earth, while 'Humana' stands for Humanity. Together, 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚 becomes a collection where the aching force of nature mirrors humanistic sentiments. The collection aims to trace all the delicate scars and symphonic tensions―from the smallest shimmer of pearl-like drizzle to the grandest mountain's grief. Each poem is a pause, a break, a breath to feel nature's breathtaking tapestry, woven with intense healing capabilities. Here, soil meets soul and roots tangle with reason! As you walk through this terrain―of auroras, dawns, and obnoxious ocean's orchestra―I hope you feel not just my words, but also the loud quiet between them―the silent meanings and interpretations. Crafted with a pen dipped in perseverance, '𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚' indulges in the serene and destructing sentiments of nature. From the broken to the healing. It is, perhaps, my most intimate attempt at writing. As you have decided to walk through this humanistic terrain, may its verses speak to the part of you that still feels wind whispers magic! · · ── ·☽◯☾· ── · · Copyright © [2025] [Aatishi Ravira] All rights reserved. They say you have to look at a sentence in context to understand its meaning. These poems are like sentences of my life, taken out of context, for which they might never be understood. Because there's safety in uncertainty. I've been wanting to share my work for some time now, but I've never been able to find an appropriate place to do so. Until now I might add. These poems are going to mainly consist of my personal opinions and innermost thoughts. My struggles and the stupid crap I write down. Hopefully you'll be able to relate, and maybe even find some of it helpful. If any one actually decides to take time out of their day to read this, then thank you, and don't hesitate to message me if needed. ✌️
