I was the 6th-grade "slut." And I kept a diary. So I decided to create The UnSlut Project in the hopes that my own diary entries could provide some perspective to girls who currently feel trapped and ashamed. I am publishing these entries one at a time, without changing a single word except for the names of the people involved. My limited commentary, which is confined to brackets in each entry, is meant to provide the relief of my current perspective, fifteen years later. The UnSlut Project: Working to undo the dangerous slut shaming in our schools, communities, media, and culture by sharing knowledge and experiences.

Seriously, she gets into way too much detail when talking about the kisses...
'Don't kiss and tell' is the first rule of kissing, is it not?
I love how she sees one year as that much of a difference. Being ten and being eleven is still basically the same with a few minor differences.

Wait was this happen in 6th grade a few years ago for me and I just never noticed because right now I am still oblivious to it I feel sooooo I old even tho I’m pretty young
I love how detailed that kiss was written. I will always remember to lick the part of my lips afterwards if I ever get kissed.
When i was in 5th grade i still play w barbies and cringe at dcks. Well, when i got older obviously things have changed.
