Santa Monica, 1973. Cordelia Devereaux is a mystic, a firebrand, and maybe-just maybe-a real witch. She's made a home for herself on the pier, where saltwater and starlight feed her magic and her independence. She's not looking for love-especially not in the form of Preston Moore, a UCLA civil engineering student with a politician for a father and zero belief in anything mystical. But when plans are announced to demolish the Santa Monica Pier in favor of luxury resorts and soulless development, everything changes. Together, Cordelia and Preston spark a movement-one built on protest, passion, and the unlikely collision of science and spirituality. As they battle city hall, corrupt politics, and their own fears, they find something neither expected: each other. But saving the pier might come at a cost too high to bear. Will love-and community-be enough to rewrite their fate? Don't Pave Our Paradise is a sweeping, sun-soaked story of rebellion, romance, and reclaiming home. Perfect for fans of character-driven love stories with heart, grit, and just a touch of magic.

This is a story based on th UK Riots in August. It is NOT a true story! Next time your thinking about rioting, think about the consequences first. In the 2011 UK Riots 3 Innocent young men were killed in Birmingham during the Riots. One of the fathers won the 'Pride of Britain' award not long after the Riots. Think. Open Your Eyes. I have entered this in the Watty Awards 2011 so please vote for this and promote my message!
