Once A Upon A time, there were two "rival" hockey players: Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. The most unlikely pairing anyone could think of with even another thought that no one bothered to think of. They settled down and ended up with three daughters of their own: Lenora, Andrea, and Phoebe. Both now long retired and ice rink owners, not straying far from what they know. Lenora, only twenty-two, setting off into her own path. Far from what her parents chose. As her origins come to resurface and finds love, she starts to see how entangled everything truly is when it comes to family.

This is going to be an enemies to friends to lovers' relationship trope between Toph and Zuko (as adults). This is based mostly off the new movie timeline, so Toph is 24 and Zuko is 28, etc. My goal is to make this a proper slow burn and have it go on for maybe 15 chapters but I'll see how people like these first few and go from there. Toph and Zuko are a part of the same friend group but aren't really friends. They tolerate each other, but they don't actually really like one another. They are very argumentative and sassy but not cruel, they just enjoy pushing each other's buttons. The Earth kingdom is under a new ruler who is disrupting the current balance in the world and is not fit to be King. He has been in power for a while and Aang has tried to reason with him but had no luck. However, an opportunity arises when the King announced his son is in need of a wife. Together team avatar comes up with a plan to infiltrate the earth kingdom and overthrow the king to restore balance. Unfortunately, this plan of theirs requires Toph and Zuko to be closer to each other, making them both go crazy in a bad way, but surprisingly in a good way as well. I've never written a fanfic before so hopefully you guys like it. I keep seeing edits from the new movie and omg Toph and Zuko look so cute together. I've always thought they'd be interesting together as adults (obviously) because I feel like they are very similar, yet so different. Basically, I was inspired and wanted to make a story. Some of the scenes I will write about are going to be inspired/directly from the new movie (if it ain't broke don't fix it). I have a pretty good idea of where I want the story to go but if you have requests or ideas feel free to comment to keep me inspired, and the story enjoyable. I also will update when possible (depending on the engagement from readers). I didn't go into crazy detail with my summary because I want to give the best parts to the actual story, so don't fret.
