They say Magic comes from who you are as a person, from your inner strength and determination to follow the path you're on- and if that's so, maybe I've lost it. Ever since that day I've been unable to spark even the tiniest bit of magical energy- or well, up until recently, that is. It all started after a slight deviation in this dream I've been having and an incident in the Nevadoran Forest- and now I suddenly got invited to study at a school for Magic, Arthyrell Academy. Will this finally lead me to the answers I've been seeking? ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ CONTENT WARNING A central focus in the book series is trauma. Therefore, this novel contains and explores themes surrounding mental health, mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety disorders, self harm & suicide, death - either of an individual or genocidal, and other forms of loss, (fantasy) violence and abuse & oppression in multiple forms or ways. This content, while written with care and respect, may be unsuitable for audiences under the age of 13, those who are susceptible to influence from or who are uncomfortable with these types of topics and those who experience triggers as a result of being subjected to harm by any of these circumstances. The novel includes these themes to shed light on and bring about debate on these topics, however this does not mean it will always be a pretty read-through. Especially graphic or shocking chapters contain their own seperate warning.

It might not be all bad, if a group of ancient supernatural beings weren't also trying to kill us.

(This story is based on my team's campaign through The Wild Beyond the Witchlight adventure module by Beadle & Grimm. I do not own any of the characters referenced in the module or races created by the Dungeons & Dragons franchise. This story is created with the intention to expand my creativity and engage with the gaming community. It is categorized as fanfiction and is only available completely free of charge.)

"I'd be willing to bet it was one of the fey. They're very territorial by nature and often take things that are left lying—” His voice cut off abruptly, and he stiffened before jerking to his feet and backing away from her as if she had a contagious disease. He stopped only when his back hit a tree. Eirnin of the Eáchan clan’s silver eyes—now with hints of bright yellow to them—widened in astonishment, and he stared, transfixed, at the red blood dripping from her foot. "What are you?"

Fairy tales often bring wonder, what with dragons and wizards and magic. The Fairies prefer it that way- they prefer that folk think of them as kind, helpful, pretty harmless and fictional. The reality of course is quite different. They are the tricksters and the dancers, the kidnappers and the manipulators, born of wild and woe and wonder. Morgan and Morgan's story begins with the fairies, with a swap of two babies, and a switch of two girls as they struggle to find their footing amid what was left out of the Fairy Tales.

It started out as just a small game that I wanted to play with a very small group of friends, but it has turned into a way for me to build up my ability to talk to people I'm not familiar with as more people came to play with us, people left, and I joined other groups to play their games.
