Johnny was never safe. Burning Rose's bones didn't do the trick, which means there is some part of her still out there. Maybe baby teeth, some hair, or whatever, but you need to find it or else more people are going to die. Johnny did, and that's where you and Sam are right now.

Johnny was found in this apartment with his sex doll "Jen" lying near him. You just can't believe he died even after her bones being burned. Police were scattered everywhere, but you only needed to see Johnny and his sex doll before dipping out. There was nothing in his apartment that would suggest anything. If Rose wanted him dead, then he would be dead—and he is.

"You know, this shouldn't have happened. We burned her bones," you state once you're back outside without the fear of prying ears.

"Yet, somehow, she's back," Sam sighs and takes out his phone to call Dean.

"Hey, it's not over," he says to Dean's voicemail. "Burning the remains didn't stop her. She's got to be hooked to something else. We're gonna head to the sister's now. Call me."

"She may be the one that is tied this all. Remember how I said that Rose might be tied to a person? It could be her."

You two quickly head over to Isabel's apartment to see if you can't figure out why Rose is still here. She was surprised to see you two again, but she didn't question when you asked to see everything that Rose owned. You were absolutely shocked when she brought out such a small box. She really didn't have a lot that Rose owned. The less amount of things she had of Rose's, the less Rose has to actually attach herself to.

"So, um, this is it?" Sam asks after he went through the box.

"I gave most of her clothes to the Goodwill. She didn't have much."

You look around her house and frown when you spot some science textbooks on a nearby table.

"Are those yours?" you ask and point to them.

"Yeah."

"Are you in school?"

"Yeah."

"Where?"

"Great Falls."

You fucking knew it.

"Let me guess, you were at the science lab and the factory this week," you chuckle and look at Sam.

"Well, yeah," she chuckles nervously.

"Did you happen to stop by a bar called McOwen's last night?" Sam asks.

"Everybody from the factory goes there. I stop in maybe three times a week. Why?"

"See? I told you she is in the middle of all this. This is all about her," you say to Sam, but Isabel is visually freaked.

"What? What is?"

"The murders, of course--your coworkers and college janitor."

"What, you--you think I could do something like that?!" she screeches.

"No, he put it the wrong way. Look, we know you didn't do it, but we think you're at the center of it all. Are you wearing anything of Rose's right now? A ring, bracelet, her baby teeth in a locket?" you ask gently.

"You're scaring me," she whimpers.

"Please think. We wouldn't be doing this if we don't think it would help. What do you have of Rose's that you carry with you?"

"Well, the only thing I have of hers is a part of me. When I was 16, she gave me one of her kidneys."

"Her kidney?" you gasp softly.

"Yeah."

"You're kidding," Sam sighs.

"Will you please tell me what this is all about?" she begs.

"Yes, we will. Please come with us, though. We're not going to hurt you, we just need to talk to you and our other partner. He's on his way over here now."

"Okay," she sighs and grabs her jacket.

She's more compliant than most people, but you're grateful for the trust she has in you. Maybe it's because you're pregnant. You wouldn't do anything stupid to put her in harms way because you might be put in it as well.

By the time you three got to the store where Dean said he'd meet you at, you had told her everything from the first murder to the story that Johnny told you. She is so sad about her sister's death, but she's glad she knows the truth. Now that Dean is here, Sam is the one to talk to him while you stay in the car with Isabel.

"You see the shorter one?" you say and point to Dean.

"Yeah, what about him?"

"He's the father of my baby. It's a girl," you state, trying to get her mind off her situation if just for a little bit.

"Aren't you with the taller one?"

"No, he's my best friend," you smile and look at Sam. "You're going to be okay, Isabel. We will protect you."

"You'll protect me?" she asks and looks at your stomach.

"We told you ghosts exist, but do you believe in witches? I am one, and I can fight without ever having to get up. We women have to stick together," you chuckle.

The windows are rolled down, so you're able to hear what Sam and Dean are talking about, and that means Isabel can too. Now that there is a moment of silence between the two of you, she can listen to the words they are saying.

"No. I think we have to go hoodoo," Sam says.

"Hoodoo?"

"Yeah."

"That's more of a band-aid, not really a cure," Dean scoffs.

"It buys us a minute."

"Alright, Louisiana it is," Dean nods.

Isabel scrambles to get out of the car, but you're not as fast as she is.

"Sam! Dean!" you warn and get out of the car as fast as you can.

Isabel is already halfway to the brothers when you exit the car.

"Voodoo?! What the hell are you talking about?" she exclaims.

"Actually, it's 'hoodoo'. It's a little different," Dean says.

"I don't want to be poked and prodded at! No!" she shakes her head.

Suddenly, the Impala starts all on her own with the headlights flashing at the four of you.

"No, no way," Dean groans in disbelief. The Impala revs, making it known that Rose has possessed the Impala. She sensed Isabel was in danger, so all she is doing is protecting her. "No, no, no, no. She possesses sex dolls! This--this is not a sex doll!"

"We need to go. Like run!" you exclaim, and Dean looks at you and then at your stomach.

"Hey, you leave my baby alone! She's got nothing to do with this!" Dean yells at Rose. The Impala's tires squeal on the ground as the car lurches forward. "Go, go, go, go, go!"

You take off running as fast as you can possibly go without actually trying to hurt the baby from your movements. Dean sees how much you're struggling, so he books it in a different direction so he can lead the car away from everyone else.

You, Sam, and Isabel run to the safe part of the parking lot near the store while Dena runs around the parking lot like a complete maniac trying not to get hit by the car. The only way that this car is going to stop following him is if she crashes, and Dean realizes this when he looks at the store. He grimaces but runs to the store, the car still chasing after him.

"Son of a bitch!" Dean yells and stands in front of the store window. "I'm so sorry, baby."

The Impala charges at Dean, and he jumps out of the way at the last minute so that the Impala crashes through the store. Glass and metal go everywhere, shooting out from all sides of the crash. You use your magic to deflect the shards, only thinking of your child right now. At this moment, Isabel and everyone else just disappears, and the only thing on your mind is your child and making sure she is safe.

"You alright?" Sam asks once the crash settles.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm good. You guys?" Dean pants and looks at you and his brother.

"Yeah, we're good," you nod.

That's when you remember Isabel.

"Yeah, I'm..." she coughs, and blood pours out of her mouth

All four of you look down to see a big shard of glass sticking out of her side--right where her ghostly kidney is.

"Isabel?" you gasp just as Sam runs to her side to try and help her.

You're frozen in right where you stand because this may have been your fault. When you were reflecting the shards, you don't know if you moved them in her direction. Isabel falls to the ground, but Sam is there to catch her. Rose appears right in front of her with a gash on the top of her forehead.

"I'm sorry," Rose says just as Isabel dies.

Rose goes up in flames, finally dead. She doesn't have anyone to protect anymore, but the upside is that they are together now. You put a hand to your mouth just as a few tears leak down your cheeks.

"Was this my fault?" you ask after a moment of silence.

"No."

"So it's mine," Dean states.

"No. It was no one's fault," Sam mutters and sighs heavily as if the world lays on his shoulders.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After that crash, Dean needed to repair his car to get her looking her best. He's been out there for a while, and the only reason why you're not with him is because it's hot and you want to be with your dad for a little bit.

"Are you and Sam good?" your dad asks when the younger brother goes out to the older one.

"Yeah, we talked it out. Well, I did most of the talking. We're good. Clean slate."

"Good. If your slate is clean, then so is mine."

"Good. You want to feel something amazing?" you ask, your smile growing wide.

"What?" he chuckles.

You grab his hand and place it on the spot where your daughter is currently active. She's not used to the unfamiliar hand, but you need her to know that this is her grandpa wanting to feel her.

"This is your papa, baby," you state.

She immediately kicks at the place where his hand is, and your dad's face just lights up. Tears form in his eyes and he looks at you with such love and adoration in his eyes.

"She knows who I am?"

"Yeah, she's been around you this whole time without even knowing it."

"I love you so much," he says and brings you into a hug.

"I love you too, dad. Now, I have to let Dean feel. It's not fair you and Sam both got a feel and not him."

You leave the house and approach the brothers slowly. Dean is working on his car, and Sam is drinking a beer just talking to him.

"How's it look?" Sam asks.

"Well, considering she got carjacked by a poltergeist, it could be worse. I mean, what exactly did we do back there, Sam?"

"We shouldn't consider this a win, guys. She was completely innocent," you sigh and lean against the car.

"We saved a few dicks and we killed an innocent girl. I got a heartbroken kid and a woman who's pissed at me... and I'm not even going to touch down on you right now," he sighs and looks away from you. "I see what you mean about facing your past. It's awesome. Thanks."

"Dean," you sigh.

"I mean, all we do is make a mess."

"That's not true. We do save lives, now and again."

"Yeah, I guess. I'm just... I'm just tired of all the bad luck, you know?"

"Something good came of this bad luck," you state and rub your stomach.

"Well, you both know that bad luck is kind of in the job description. Plus, it's not all bad. Really. Look at me. I mean, at least Satan's left the building."

"Yeah. It's the little things."

"I have a soul because of you two. I never thanked you for that, did I?"

"You don't have to, Sam," you smile.

"Well, still. Thank you."

"You'd have done the same for us."

"I mean it. Look, we keep our heads down and keep swinging. We'll lose some and win some. Hopefully, we'll win more. I don't know. Anyway, for what it's worth, I got both your backs."

"Yeah, I know."

You make eye contact with Sam, and he just raises his beer before leaving the vicinity. It's just you and Dean right now, and he takes a break from fixing his car. He grabs a beer from a nearby cooler, and you take a deep breath.

"I hate the idea of you putting yourself in danger," Dean says right before you were going to invite him to feel her.

"It's not like I do it on purpose, Dean."

"I know. I just wish you would take a step back."

"And what would I do? Sit on the bench and let you and Sam handle it? Knowing that I can help, but I can't because I've been benched?"

"I'm worried about our kid, Y/N. I know you can protect yourself. I'm worried about her."

"Dean, want to feel your daughter?"

He snaps his head to you, and you motion for him to come over. He sets his beer down and does so, and when he's close enough, you grab his hand and place it on your stomach. She was kicking a few minutes ago, but you're afraid she isn't going to like her father's touch. All you've been doing is complaining about Dean and how much he hurt you, so you're scared she won't kick when she feels him.

"Has she been kicking?" Dean asks.

"This is your daddy, baby. Say hi," you chuckle.

Dean is worried she isn't going to kick, but she gives a hard one right where his hand is. You laugh and put your hand over his before looking into his eyes.

"She's fine, Dean. She's strong and healthy, and we're going to be fine. In about three months, she is going to be here in front of us, all smiles and giggles. She is going to make it."

She kicks Dean a few more times before settling down, and he takes his hand away from your stomach. He doesn't move from your side, though, because he really wants to tell you something. What would he tell you? That he's sorry? That he is an idiot and shouldn't have let you go? That he loves you? You already know all of this, yet, you refuse to take him back.

So what can he say that will prove his love for you over Lisa and Ben? They have proven they can live their lives without him, but you never had to. He misses the way your lips touch his, the way your skin feels against his own. Your child was conceived on a false notion, but he wants the next time to be real.

What can he do to prove to you just how sorry he is? He asks himself this very question every single day, and every time he comes up with an answer, he can never seem to make it good enough.

You're Y/N--the woman who is carrying his child and the love of his life. You deserve more than he can give you, yet he can't seem to let go.

He doesn't know what to do, and he hates himself because of it.
