Chapter Fifty Three
*Calum's POV*
Ashton is annoyed with me. I'm fed up of his mood. It's making us all feel like shit.
I think I should let Mai know.
I went outside the bus and FaceTime her so that Ashton won't know.
"Heyy." Maisie said.
"Hey, I need to tell you something." I dragged.
"What do you need to say?" Maisie asked.
"We're coming home in 2 months." I said whilst smiling.
"Really?" She didn't look amused.
"Don't you want us back?" I asked.
"No, no. That's not what I said. It's just, that it will be awkward seeing Ashton, because he's my neighbour, and our history." Maisie said.
"Don't worry, it will work out" I said.
"You think so?" Maisie asked.
"I hope so, but, I..I can't." I said.
"What?" Maisie asked.
"Don't get mad, okay?" I said
"I won't get mad." Maisie said whilst smiling.
"Well we had a little argument about you, and I said to Ashton that he should do something to get you back, and he said that he was done." I said.
Maisie was motionless.
"Oh. Okay. I don't care, it's not like we were destined to be together." Maisie said. Which was true when you think about it.
"Heyy Calum, who are you talking to?" Michael said whilst coming over
"Maisie is that you?!" Michael practically yelled.
"Shhhh Michael, Ashton might hear." I said.
Maisie giggled. Thank god she's not annoyed with what I said.
"Yeah, it's me, you idiot." Maisie said. Which caused me to laugh.
"Omg, are you two...you know.." Michael wiggled his eyebrows.
"No!" Mai and I said unison.
"Why would you think that?" Mai asked.
"Because you two tweeting, I'm part of the Caisie ship myself, and it seems like you're together, and you talking on FaceTime out here." Michael stated.
"Caisie?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Yeah, you and Mai, duh." Michael poked my arm.
"We're just friends, Michael." Maisie said.
"Damn girl, you're putting everyone in the friend zone." Michael said.
"Shut up." Maisie said.
There was an awkward silence.
So to break it, both Michael and I did a weird face, which caused all of us to burst into hysterics.
"Anyway, I've got to go Calum, but I'll speak to you soon, bye!" Maisie said.
"Don't I get a goodbye?" Michael asked.
Maisie giggled.
"Bye Michael." Maisie said whilst ending the call.
"Do you really ship me and Mai?" I asked.
"I ship her with all of us dude. She's hot." Michael said.
"Who's hot?" Ashton said whilst walking out of the bus.
How the hell did he hear that? God, if he heard that, then he must have heard us talking to Mai.
"Uhhhh...uhhh." I panicked.
"Katy Perry, Katy Perry is hot." Michael said whilst saving my arse.
"Yeah." I said.
"Oh, yeah, she's alright, ready for rehearsals then?" Ashton asked.
I really hope he didn't hear what we were saying, even though we didn't say anything bad. It's just that he's pissed at me for talking to Mai, and I know he still likes her, it takes Ashton a really long time to get over a girl that he truly likes.
