Cassius looked at Lilith. Afterall she was the one who seemed to be calling all of the shots here. And he didn't want to say something he that was a mistake.
Before Lilith said anything, she looked at Cassius. "Cassius is Lilith, your only friend in this school?"
"Yes, she is. Other than me knowing you to, of course." He smiled nervously.
"So, do you think she'll be able to keep a secret?"
Cassius looked at Jessica then back at Lilith, not exactly sure what she was planning. But figured she would mention them in a relationship.
"I can be trusted. I would never do anything as to betray a friend's trust." Jessica said as though clearing her name, and she looked down nervously again.
"Well, then." Lilith walked up to Jessica and whispered in her ear. Jessica's eyes widen with surprise, and once Lilith was done, she was still smiling.
"I understand President," Jessica said.
"Please call me, Lilith," Lilith said. Jessica nodded meekly.
Cassius was still unsure about what Lilith said. He hoped Lilith didn't say too much, but that wasn't like Lilith to make a wrong move. If anything, it was Cassius to do that.
"So about the school festival, How is that going to play out?" Jessica asked.
"We can all meet up at the school and go there together," Cassius said.
"Wonderful idea. However, I'm not going to be able to stay with you for the first two hours of the festival." Lilith said.
"Your not? Why?"Cassius asked.
"I'm in charge of running the festival. For the first two hours is the most crucial, or in three hours. It depends on whether or not this is a successful year. Which, of course, it's going to be, because I'm the one who is also in charge to help run it."
"I didn't know you were going to run it," Cassius said.
Jessica looked at Cassius, it was an odd thing not to know, but Jessica still felt like she didn't belong. "Alright, well, I guess Cassius, we can hang out for the first hour just until the president comes and I leave you to be."
Lilith didn't like that idea, but Cassius did at least need supervision.
"Jessica, I don't think-"Cassius said but then got interrupted.
"That's a great idea.' Lilith said which Cassius was surprised to hear from her.
"Well, Cass, I need to go now," Lilith said to Cassius and went to whisper in his ear. Cassius' face got red, hearing her words, and then she left. Jessica saw Cassius's face and wanted to question it but had a feeling she already knew the answer because of what the president told her.
Cassius looked at Jessica. "So, are you going to your club?" Cassius said.
"Not today. Do you want to walk home together?"
"Yeah, that sounds fine." Cassius walked out with Jessica. The walk felt peaceful, as many monsters were already home. The school barely had any students left as it seemed the school festival still filled their minds.
After a good distance away from the school, Jessica spoke. "So Cassius, you and the president. I can't believe it." Jessica said.
Cassius looked at Jessica, hoping his face didn't reveal too much. "W-what do you mean?"
"I mean how you to have such a close bond, how you two are a couple. It makes sense why you have to keep it hidden. But I'm still surprised you didn't tell me. But I guess I can understand why." Jessica said, looking away, sadly.
The first thought that popped to Cassius' head is that he hid another secret from her, but then he also realized that she never really told him anything either. Were they even that close? Was it really possible to trust her. He nodded his head; Jessica was trustworthy. She said it so herself.
"I didn't mean to keep it from you. To be honest, I wasn't even sure if we were a couple. But you said that is what she said, isn't it?"
Jessica looked pained. "Well, she did mention you had a close bond with each other, but she didn't exactly state you were a couple. But I guess if you read in between the lines. " Jessica then thought about it. "How are you not sure if you are a couple?"
Cassius shrugged his shoulders. "She can be complicated sometimes."
"She doesn't seem like that type of student."
Cassius thought back to her crazy mood; Jessica would never understand any of it if Cassius was to explain unless Jessica saw it for herself. Cassius knew that already because he felt the same way, and it wasn't like he could reveal Lilith's true nature to Jessica. Cassius knew he was going to be a goner by then.
Cassius and Jessica were only one block away from Cassius' house, and suddenly the thought of going home didn't sound all that great. Until he remembered that Lilith was going to come over later, he thought back to their night together, and he couldn't help but want more of the pleasuring feeling to come again; Lilith was in a state no boy would ever dream of seeing her like that. Suddenly it made Cassius want to be in possession of her, and believe that Lilith belonged to him, but he knew that she was known all over.
"Bye, Cassius," Jessica said. Cassius snapped out of his thoughts as he realized he was already in the front of his house; he looked at Jessica.
"Bye, Jessica. I can't wait to see you at the festival tomorrow."
"Right, by the way, what time are we meeting over there?" Jessica said.
"I'm not sure I believe the moment it begins."
"Alright, then at 1 pm, it is then." Jessica turned and continued walking as Cassius saw her go. He turned and went inside his house. His mother was nowhere around, which Cassius thought she would be here, seeing as the meeting of lords was in two days. Then he thought about his mom being a lord of sin. The fact that she hid that from him without telling him. Was his mom untrustworthy in her eyes?
"Mom, are you in here? We need to talk." Cassius said as though she might be in her room. No response, and it was officially he was by himself. He sat on the couch and sighed, but before he could turn on cartoons, he felt a pain in his chest and bent down in pain.
"What the-"
'Cassius, I wanted to tell you this important message two days before the meeting with the lord of sins.' Pandora said.
Cassius felt like sweat wanted to crawl up his neck. She was the one who could inflict pain in his body; it was the biggest reason why he listened to what she said; he didn't know if it could be too much to the point where it was fatal, but he wasn't going to try it anything soon. "Y-yes, what is it?"
'I don't want you to go to the meeting regarding the lord of sins. If you do, I will do everything in my power to stop you. And believe me, you don't want me to do that." Pandora threatened.
"But Pandora, you haven't caused any trouble in school or my life here; you only ever came out two times in my life. I'm sure we can pass the-"
I said NO! Your mom is the sin of sloth, so I don't want you telling her what I just told you. She will stop us.
"But Pandora-"
Shut your mouth already; it has been decided to make you remember this. Here is your special treat.
"What do you mean-" Cassius felt a burn feeling on his hand as though it was slit by a knife as though he was going to drop blood in a bowl to seal the deal. It hurt painfully, and the only thing Cassius could do was grab his wrist and keep his screams in. It lasted for a few seconds, and Cassius was panting hard, relief came when the pain stopped, and he looked down at his right palm, no cuts, bruises, or blood. But when he felt on the area of his hand, it felt hotter than his regular body temperature. Cassius couldn't help but shake a bit. Pandora was terrifying. He could remember other times; she gave him treats in order to make him listen to what she said, or when she was just bored. He hated it, and Pandora knew what he thought, she could sense it, and he could tell she enjoyed his misery, the feeling of helplessness. It made Cassius wonder how such a dangerous monster could be placed inside his body. And that only made him question more who Pandora really was.
