"You got this," Sophie whispered to herself as she nervously walked through the halls.
It was her second night at the hospital and she was having another night walk. She made sure to have the night walk around the same time as last night so she had a better chance of catching this mysterious person that visited Linh.
Before Sophie started her night walk, she hadn't done much. Since Keefe left, she just sat around and watched tv until it was time.
Speaking of when Keefe visited her, Sophie couldn't stop thinking about it. She was just so happy that she finally fixed things with Keefe. And she was happy that Keefe told her about some things he was going through. Sophie just had to be a better person this time and actually help him when he needed it.
And a thing that she should start doing is spend more time with Keefe! The poor guy! When Keefe said, "and by the way, I am jealous," Sophie just felt so bad for not giving him any attention.
Obviously Keefe was just a bit jealous that Nick got to spend more time with Sophie. Since Keefe is her friend, it's normal for him to feel like that.
(I know guys, even I cringe at Sophie's obliviousness 😩)
So Sophie decided that she would make more time for Keefe so he doesn't have to feel jealous anymore. And she was thinking about how Nick and Keefe should have more bonding time.
The two boys would be such good friends once Nick gains Keefe's trust!
Sophie was cut out of her thoughts when she realized that she reached Linh's hallway. Sophie took in a deep breath.
Just don't get caught. All you're here to do it to see if this person visits again and if he/she is a threat to Linh.
Sophie then started to slowly walk towards Linh's room, making sure to be quiet.
Once she got closer, Sophie silently gasped when she realized that the door to Linh's room was slightly open again.
Omg...
What if it's a trap? What if the figure saw Sophie run away yesterday and is trying to capture her today?
Sophie felt tempted to just run away but then she reminded herself that this was all for Linh.
Sophie gulped and got close enough to peak in. Once again, the same exact figure from yesterday was standing next to Linh.
Sophie tried to figure out who the figure was but she still couldn't. But something was different than yesterday...
Today, the figure was talking to Linh.
Sophie put her ear closer to the door to see if she could recognize the voice but it was no use. The figure was whispering and it's hard to tell who's talking when someone is whispering. All Sophie could do was listen to what the figure was saying.
"Linh I know you're stronger than this. You better wake up from this coma soon," the voice whispered. The voice was so quiet that Sophie still couldn't make out who was speaking. Sophie couldn't even tell if it was a boy or girl.
"Linh, Wylie used to visit you every day but he gave up on you! He felt useless and he thought you'd never come back. On the other hand, we would never forget about you," the voice continued.
We? What did the figure mean by "we?"
"I've been visiting you every day. I've visited you ever since that day that Wylie gave up. Oh, people think you are in a coma and you can't hear but I know you can. And I know that you are heartbroken that Wylie left. Maybe this is a sign that you are choosing the wrong side..." the voice added.
Wait what?! So this visitor has been visiting Linh for a quite a few days!
And...could it be true that Linh could hear everyone? And what's the whole deal with Wylie?
And what does the figure mean by "choosing the wrong side?"
Sophie then realized what the figure meant when the figure pulled out a dagger.
The same dagger the Neverseen used.
So the figure was talking about the Neverseen and how Linh was wrong by standing with the Blackswan. So...are the Neverseen trying to recruit Linh?
Why would they do that?
And Sophie then realized that it's confirmed that this figure is a Neverseen member.
The figure then raised the dagger in the air.
Omg—was this person going to stab Linh?! Omg! Sophie had to think fast!
Wait...but that doesn't make sense...wasn't the person just talking about recruiting Linh?
All the figure did with the dagger though was shine it with the dark hoodie he/she was wearing. Sophie sighed in relief.
Once the figure put the dagger back in its pocket, the figure then pulled on lip gloss and started to put it on.
Omg! This must confirm that this visitor was a female!
Sophie felt happy that she figure something out but then frowned. Wait...the Sophie didn't know the Neverseen had a female in their order...
How did they not figure this out? Didn't Wylie tell them about all the members?!
Sophie then remembered that Wylie mentioned how he didn't know all the Neverseen members.
Oh...so this female is unknown to Wylie...
The figure then put the lip gloss away and whispered a little louder, "the Neverseen will be waiting for you when you wake up."
Since the figure spoke a little louder, Sophie could definitely tell that it was a female. But Sophie couldn't tell if it was a girl or a woman. And she still had no idea who it was since the whispering was making things difficult.
Sophie's eyes then widened when she realized that Linh was in great danger.
Sophie then felt her heart stop when she saw the Neverseen member stand up as if she was about to leave.
Shoot—Sophie needed to get out of there!
And let the hospital know about this!
Sophie then sprinted for her life—as fast and quiet as she could—to her room and called for nurse assistance.
Once the nurses arrived, Sophie explained to them that she saw a visitor with a knife in a patient's room. Sophie decided to be vague because she didn't know these nurses.
Any one of them could be a traitor. Or anyone in general...
The nurses immediately warned the police in the hospital and they did an investigation and searched the whole hospital as fast as they could.
When the police came back, they said that they found no one. They even said that they checked Linh's room first and couldn't find anyone or any clues.
Sophie was frustrated that the female Neverseen member got away. And she was more frustrated when Doctor Trebert told Sophie that it was probably just a hallucination.
How could no one believe Sophie?
Sophie knew that what she saw was not a hallucination.
And she knew that Linh was in trouble.

So we figured out that there is a female Neverseen member! And it's the member that's been visiting Linh! Yikes! Now we have no idea who it is or if it's a girl or older woman.
What we do know for sure is that the female can't be Sophie's stalker because obviously Sophie's stalker is a guy.
SO NOW YOU GUYS KNOW THAT THIS NEVERSEEN VISITOR IS NOT NICK OR TAM Or THE STALKER OR ANYONE ELSE YOU SAID!!! Sorry, had to let that out lmao.
But some of your theories are actually getting somewhere so I encourage you guys to start thinking outside the box! Who knows what other twists I'll have...
