Chapter Fifty
*Maisie's POV*
Logan and I walked up to the Irwin's household and I knocked on the door.
"Hi Mai, how are you dear?" Anne asked whilst letting us in.
"Hi Anne, and I'm good thank you, how are you?" I replied back.
"I'm good dear, I'm afraid I have to leave now, but I'll be back later in the evening." Anne said.
"Oh, okay, well I'll see you later." I said whilst waving goodbye.
"This is weird." Logan said.
"You can leave if you want, because I know it will be weird for you because you don't really know them." I said.
"Are you sure, Mai?" I replied.
"Yes, I know how you are around new people." I said whilst smirking.
"Okay, I'll be next door then." Logan said.
"Okie dokie, Bye Loge." I said whilst shutting the door.
"Hello?" I said.
"We're in the garden." Lauren yelled.
I walked to the back garden and saw Lauren and Harry running around having fun.
Man, I miss being a kid.
"Maisie!" Harry said loudly whilst running towards me and giving me a big hug. God, he's just likes his brother.
"Heyy Harry, how are you?" I said whilst letting go of the hug.
"I'm great Mai, I spoke to Ashton last night." Harry said whilst smiling.
"Aw, did you? How is he?" I asked politely.
"He's good. He said that he can't wait to come home." Harry said whilst walking back to the bench.
"Heyy Mai, could you help me in the kitchen please?" Lauren asked.
"Yeah sure. Harry, I'm going to be with your sister for a bit, but I'll be back soon." I said whilst smiling.
I walked behind Lauren and made our way to the kitchen.
"So what do you need help with?" I asked.
"Nothing. I just wanted to talk to you." Lauren said simply.
"Oh...okay. What do you want to talk about?" I asked.
"You and Ashton." Lauren said.
I stood there, silently.
"Is everything okay with you and my brother? Did he do something stupid again? Man he's an idiot." Lauren said whilst giggling.
"We kinda broke up. Buts okay, I'll get over it." I said whilst swinging my arms.
Yepp, I'm a weirdo.
"I'm sorry, Mai." Lauren said with a sad face.
"It's okay, Lauren. Now let's get back to your brother." I said whilst walking back out to the garden.
"What should we do for fun?" I asked them.
"I know, I know, we can play video games!" Harry said excitedly.
"Noo." Lauren whined.
"Come on...it will be fun!" I said.
"Yay! Thanks Mai, you're the best!" Harry said whilst running in.
"We can do something you want afterwards." I whispered to Lauren.
"Yes!" Lauren said whilst waving her arms whilst walking in.

We were currently in Lauren's room, and she wanted to have a fashion so. And right now, Harry is wearing a weird hat with cow pants with bright yellow socks.
"Harry! That's not fashion!" Lauren laughed.
"I think it suits you." I said whilst laughing.
"Thanks Mai. See, Mai likes my style." Harry moaned.
"Hold on, someone's on Skype." Lauren said whilst walking over to her laptop.
I let her go, whilst I was putting a hat, and this fluffy scarf around me, and I found a green blanket and turned it into a dress.
"Like my style." I said whilst laughing.
I walked over and froze when I saw Ashton on the screen.
Ashton giggled when he saw me.
"Hah, so what's going on here?" Ashton asked.
"We're having a fashion show, Ash." Harry popped out, making Ashton burst into laughter from Harry's outfit.
"Yeah, but Harry doesn't dress right." Lauren said whilst walking towards the wardrobe to find something.
"Hi." Ashton said shyly.
Was he talking to me?
"Hi." I waved awkwardly.
"How come you're there?" Ashton said.
"Your mum wanted me to come round." I said
"Yeah, Mai is so fun, better than you." Harry poked his tongue out.
"I'm not." I said whilst taking off the blanket, scarf and a hat.
"Is she now?" Ashton smirked.
"Yepp." Harry said loudly whilst giving me a hug.
"Even when you're not here, they love me." I teased.
"Who doesn't?" Ashton whispered.
"What?" I said.
"Ash said who doesn't." Harry said chirpily.
"No I didn't." Ashton replied back.
"Yes you did." Harry shot back.
"I'm gonna go and make some food. I'll bring it up." I said awkwardly whilst leaving the room.

I was about to pour some Pepsi into some cups when a voice startled me, and I dropped the bottle.
"Crap!" I said to myself.
"That's not a good word." Lauren popped out.
"Sorry." I said whilst picking up the cups.
"You startled me." I said whilst looking for a cloth to wipe up the mess.
"How come you left the room?" Lauren asked.
"It was awkward talking to your brother, so I came down and got some food/snacks to have." I said whilst re-pouring the remaining Pepsi in the bottle.
"Who, Harry?" She asked.
"No. Ashton." I said shyly.
"Come back up." Lauren asked.
"Fine." I replied whilst grabbing the foods.
I walked back into Lauren's room and saw Harry close to the screen.
I walked over to Lauren's desk and place the food down.
I went and sat next to Harry, and I saw 4 guys on the screen.
Well this isn't awkward at all. Note the sarcasm.
They stopped talking when I came. This is just great, isn't it.
"So, Ash, when do you finishing touring?" Lauren asked.
"I'm not sure..I wanted to come home recently, but they won't let me." Ashton sighed.
"Aww, come home Ash, we miss you." Harry said.
"I miss all of you too." Ashton said.
Okay then. Sure you do.
"Ash, when you come home, we can have all the fun times we had, and it will be better when it's with you, Mai, Lauren and me." Harry said happily.
Ashton was smiling, until he heard my name and he frowned.
"Aww, well it won't be the same, mate." Ashton said.
"Why?" Harry asked.
"Well-"
"me and your brother aren't as close any more." I said cutting off Ashton.
"Why?" Harry asked.
"Things happened." Was all I said.
"Ooooooo." I hear the other 3 guys say unison.
Me and Ashton just glared at them.
"I'm home!" Anne yelled.
Thank god.
"That's my cue to leave. Bye Harry, bye Lauren, and uhm, bye guys." I said whilst walking out.
"Bye Mai, it was really fun having you round." Harry and Lauren said.
"Aw, maybe we can hang out again." I said.
"Yeah!" Harry said excitedly.
I waved goodbye and made my way downstairs.
"How were they?" Anne asked.
"They were great. Makes me want to be a kid again." I said whilst giggling.
"Aw, they really like you." Anne said.
"I'm great with kids, I think it's because I still act like one." I said.
Both Anne and I laughed.
"You're such a lovely girl. I can see why Ashton likes you." Anne said.
Oh.
Anne notice me being quiet.
"What's wrong dear?" Anne asked.
"Well...Ashton and I kinda broke up." I said.
"What? Why?" She asked.
This is so awkward.
"Long distance." I lied.
"Aw. Don't worry dear. I know Ashton, he'll come back. He's a good kid you know." Anne said.
I nodded.
"Well, I better be going." I said.
"Okay, you're welcomed anytime round here." Anne said.
"Aww, okay, bye." I said politely.
Today was such a weird day.
