Reader's POV
I narrowed my eyes.
"Here again."
Emma said.
"How many times has it been?"
Ray asked.
{ Emma, Ray, and I have been counting. This is our 3rd time coming to this monitor room with the arrow.
But the 154th time to the monitor room. It's a maze.
We keep coming to the same place. But the rooms are all a little different. }
{ where the rooms connect are all random. Even if we take the same route with the same conditions, we come out to a different place.
There seem to be no rules. Which means that we don't have a clue to solve this. }
{ It's not just the space that's chaotic. Time... and even the laws of physics.
Everything is unstable. And crazy. }
"Damn it! What is this place?"
Ray groaned.
I frowned.
He was going out of his mind...
I was exhausted.
"I wonder... if (Wthtti) can do all this... what exactly is this?"
Emma said.
"How am I supposed to know?!"
Ray exclaimed.
Emma and I both sweatdropped.
"But I've figured most of it out,"
he then added.
"What the Seven Walls really are..."
He said.
I thought for a second, silent.
"It's not like that. 'The thing which separates us and them.'
In this place, what's the thing that (Wthtti) freely transcends that we can't?"
Ray asked.
"Space?"
I said.
"And time!"
Emma added.
"Yeah,"
Ray nodded.
"Now that I think about it, that mark... we saw at the temple was also a cube.
A cube and an hourglass.
North, South, East, West, up and down make six directions.
A cube of space,"
Ray said
"And the arrow stops between the stands is the standing still.
The second part of the riddle points to time.
Front, back, left, right, up and down are six planes. Plus time makes a total of seven elements.
The physical walls that regulate this world.
The physical limit that is time and space. That's probably... what the Seven Walls are."
Ray said softly.
My eyes widened in realization as I nodded.
"But... what does it mean that the walls will appear?"
I asked.
"Yeah... what and how will they appear?
And if the Seven Walls are space and time, crossing the Seven Walls equals transcending space-time.
To get past this maze, we have to pass through space and time?"
I said, thinking.
Emma grabbed her head as we both thought the same thing.
{ How do we do that?! }
"That's it.
'When the arrow stops between the sands and the sun sets in the east.'
That's probably describing time and reversing it. But stopping time or going against it can't be done by humans.
Even if we can, I don't know how we'll overcome that Wall that appears,"
Ray continued.
I tried my best to listen to everything he was saying.
"We have an idea of what the Seven Walls are.
But now I'm even more confused about what we're supposed to do."
He said, he looked more and more stressed.
I took his hand in mine, to try to comfort him.
{ True... what do we do? How do we get out of this maze?
How do we transcend... }
.
"Damn it! We have to hurry up and get out of here.
Or we won't make it in time to stop Norman's plan,"
Ray said.
I nodded slightly and suddenly he hugged me tightly.
His arms were wrapped around my waist and his head was snuggled in my neck.
I hugged him back, running my hand through his hair.
"And... the more we get lost in this maze, the weirder my senses get."
He muttered.
"My brains going crazy,"
He breathed out.
"It's okay..."
I said softly, holding him close.
"We'll get out of here."
I added.
He nodded slightly and pulled away from me, kissing my cheek before he stood up straight again.
I smiled, then glanced behind us to see Emma.
My heart sunk as I saw her broken, sad expression.
Ray didn't seem to notice as he kept walking.
"Emma-"
I started but she only frowned slightly and followed behind Ray.
.
"This room is different from the other rooms so far,"
Emma stated.
We went through it and our eyes widened.
"A desert..."
Emma muttered.
"We finally came out to a place we haven't seen before,"
I state.
"There's sand and a sun here.
Stop time and reverse it..."
Emma said.
"We might be able to finish this!"
Ray said, sounding slightly hopeful.
"For starters, let's try shooting an arrow at that sandstorm."
Emma said.
"Yeah. Let's try anything. We've got nothing to lose."
Ray said and I nodded.
Suddenly, Emma started to get sucked up.
"Emma!"
I exclaimed, my eyes wide as I tried to grab her.
"Not again!"
Ray muttered.
My hand met Emma's and she smiled, but her hand soon slipped out of mine.
"Y/n! It's not stopping!"
She cried.
My eyes widened as she fell into my arms, now a baby.
"Emma! Are you okay?!"
I exclaimed, my eyes wide in fear.
"Damn it. We should return to that room now,"
Ray said.
"Emma... Emma!"
I cried.
She was starting to disappear.
Ray's eyes widened.
I turned and then realized Ray was gone.
"Ray?!"
I exclaimed, searching for the door.
{ I can't find it... where is it? }
I had started to panicked as I searched for the door.
Then, I felt hopeless.
I couldn't do this...
I took a deep breath and fell to my knees as I felt surrounded.
In the sixth painting... there was no demons, right?
No one was able to make it.
They got lost in the maze.
I will also get lost in the maze...
I sighed softly, then, my eyes widened as I saw a bright light.
"Y/NNNNN!"
A familiar voice...
Emma?
"I think I got it!"
She exclaimed.

Mama & Reader Moments
(Not romantically at all.
Just cute mother/daughter moments)
"Mama!!"
the h/c haired girl shrieked.
The woman rushed over in a hurry.
"Y/n! What's wrong?"
She asked.
"Look...!"
She said, her voice lowering to a whisper.
Mama's eyes widened and soon softened.
The small girl handed her her blanket.
Mama carefully scooped up the baby kitten into the blanket.
"Looks tired,"
Y/n said with a frown.
"Yeah... let's get him cleaned up..."
Mama said softly.
"Okay!"
She said, her frown disappearing.
Mama took the girl's hand in her own as they walked back to the house.
.
"Mama, what do I name him?"
The girl asked, holding the extremely small kitten in her arms.
He kitten had grew bigger, in the girl's eyes, now that he had a bath and his hair was poofed up
"Y/n, we can't keep him. He'll have to go to his family,"
Mama said softly.
Her expression fell instantly.
"Okay..."
She said.
Mama frowned and kneeled down next to her.
"Just keep him a secret from everyone else,"
She said.
Her eyes lit up.
"Thank you, Mama!"
She said happily.
"Now, let's think of names for him,"
Mama chuckled.
"Hmm... Cook? No no.
Cookie! ...no no.
Tangerine!!"
"Are you hungry, Y/n?"
"Maybe!"
"Hmm... what about..."
The two thought about names. None seemed to stick until...
"Leslie,"
Y/n said brightly.
Mama's eyes widened slightly.
But they softened as she saw the little girl had already accepted Leslie as the name for the black and white kitten.
"Leslie it is..."
.
.
.
Y/n sat next to her mother by the tree, looking at the book between them.
"The wolf is bad?"
She asked.
"Mhm,"
Mama said.
Y/n frowned.
"But he's pretty."
She said.
"Pretty wolves can be bad,"
Mama said with a chuckle.
"What about the girl? Is she bad?"
Y/n asked.
Mama shook her head.
"No, she isn't."
"Mama... what if the mom of the girl was friends with the wolf and she told the wolf when and where she was going?!"
The girl exclaimed.
Mama burst into laughter, smiling brightly.
"Maybe you're right."
Leslie laid in the girl's arms, looking at the book.
He purred and pressed his paw on the muffins.
"Mama, Leslie's hungry,"
She stated.
"He just ate,"
Mama stated.
"Aww... sorry Leslie,"
She said, patting his head.
Leslie gave her a simple 'meoow'.
Mama smiled and continued reading with the girl.
Y/n smiled when they finished and picked up the book.
"Bye bye, Mama!"
She said, the book and Leslie in her arms.
"Where are you going?"
Mama asked, standing up
"Sleep time! Ray said he'll be my pillow!"
She said and Mama chuckled.
"Why is that?"
She asked.
"I'm Ray's pillow tomorrow night! So he's my pillow tonight,"
She said.
"Ah, I see.
You and Ray are great friends. I'm glad you two get along,"
Mama said.
"Mhm! Night, Mama. I love you!"
She smiled, waving to her.
"I love you too,"
Isabella said softly.
Y/n turned away and skipped off.
Her heart full of
Lo...
.
.
Hatred
That's all I thought when I looked at her this moment.
Lies.
They were all lies.
I placed the hanger on the rope, holding on to it tightly.
"Y/n... my child,"
I then heard Mom.
I turned slowly,
"Don't leave."
I glared at her, "You tried to bring me down. I'm sick of your fake..."
Lies...
Why did you lie to me?
Did you ever love any of us?
"Goodbye, Mom,"
I said before going.
"Y/n..."
Mama said softly.
This time, the girl didn't look back.
Her heart was full of hatred for what she thought she loved.
No, for what she loves.
Her heart wasn't full with hatred like she thought.
Just pain of betrayal.
