Wei ying was currently leaning onto lan zhan's shoulders. He was sitting next to him in a comfortable position not to hurt his wound. "Hmph!" Wei ying tried saying something but the silencing spell didn't allow him to.
Jiang cheng who was seated behind them tried not to laugh 'wei ying did not expect this for sure. ' they were currently attending their classes which was taken by lan qiren.
"And this is what you have to do when a fierce corpse attacks you." Lan qiren said and stopped to look at wei ying raising his hands. 'oh no' he thought. But thank god his nephew had assured him that the silencing spell wasn't getting off anytime soon.
'dumb lan Zhan , dumb jiang cheng , dumb cloud recesses. All I wanted was to go out and this is what I get!' wei ying thought before glaring at lan Zhan and his brother.
"What brat!" Jiang cheng whisper shouted at his brother giving him an amusing look. "Mmph!" He tried saying something but failed. Lan Zhan held onto his waist so that he doesn't hurt himself.
Lan Zhan had told wei ying that they were going to get food and then he will take wei Ying to the rabbits. But lan qiren had stopped then when they had left fragrance hall after a very bland lunch.
"Wei ying, stop." Lan Zhan said settling his soulmate in one place and that's when wei ying had plotted an evil plan to disrupt the class. "Mmn~" wei ying said smiling.
He quickly took a paperman from the desk and put a spell on it. The paperman had started moving towards lan Zhan , he had noticed it but did not do anything. The paperman got on lan zhan's shoulders and tried ticking him but lan Zhan had shown no movement.
Soon the paperman got on lan zhan's head trying to pull his forehead ribbon. "Don't be silly." Lan Zhan said not looking away. Lan xichen who had been watching this whole thing smiled at the couple.
The paperman had successfully taken his forehead ribbon which made wei ying very happy. He jumped in joy but stopped when he felt a stinging pain.
"Wei ying!" Lan Zhan whispered at him trying to get back his forehead ribbon. A lan forehead ribbon is supposed to be very holy only touched by the parents and their better half.
Not that lan Zhan had minded it but if his uncle catches them they might be severely punished. Wei ying smirked at lan Zhan showing him his forehead ribbon. 'hahaha now try to get me you fuddy duddy' wei ying would have said that if the silencing spell wasn't cast on him.
Lan qiren who had noticed this got red with anger he was fuming when he saw the sacred forehead ribbon in wei Wuxian's hands but he didn't say anything when he saw that lan Zhan had snatched it from wei ying's hands and tied it again.
"Mmph!" Wei ying tried speaking again and again but did not succeed." Wei gongzi you might hurt yourself like this" huaisang whispered taking the fan in his hands covering his face.
Wei ying had glared at him asking him to back off which had only made him snort. Wei ying looked like an angry bunny he had wanted to poke his cheeks but stopped when he saw lan Zhan glaring at him.
"Forgive me hanguang jun." Huaisang said looking away. The class soon came to an end. Lan Zhan looked at wei ying who was fast asleep lying on his shoulders.
Lan zhan carried wei ying out when all the disciples had left the hall. He looked down at wei ying who looked peaceful but tensed when he moved around in his arms a lot.
"Mmn lan zhan" wei ying said trying to turn around in his arms but stopped when he remembered about his stab wound. "Mn, wei ying" lan Zhan said tightening his hold on his soulmate.
"I want to sit there. Let's go." Wei ying said pointing towards the training grounds. Lan Zhan looked at him and just nodded and started walking.
Lan Zhan had carefully made wei Ying sit down near the grounds where he saw several disciples practicing their swords.
Lan Zhan had felt sad for wei ying when he remembered those words wen ning told him 'theres no place for young master wei in the sword yielding world anymore' when he looked at the twinkle yet the sigh in his face lan Zhan had felt sad.
"Lan Zhan come sit with me." Wei ying said patting the place next to him calling him. "It's fine" lan Zhan said standing behind wei Ying. "Fine... where's jiang cheng?" Wei ying asked lan Zhan scratching his head.
" Training with the disciples." Wei ying just nodded looking at the disciples in front of him he saw jiang cheng too with the peacock. They seemed happy wei Ying too felt happy.
"Lan Zhan do you know where my suibian is?" Wei ying asked lan Zhan who was busy admiring wei ying's pale skin and beauty. "Mn, it's with jiang cheng." God did that hurt lan Zhan saying those words were the worst. The things wen qing and wen ning said kept on repeating in his head.
Jiang cheng noticed that wei ying was in the ground with lan Zhan "what's this brat doing here." He whispered under his breath before walking towards them. "Cheng cheng! There you are!" Wei ying greeted his brother. Jiang cheng just glared at him "what are you doing here brat. Go sleep." He told his brother. " Aiya jiang cheng I'm fine just look at me don't I look lively." Wei ying said pointing towards himself.
" You look dead now get out." Jiang cheng said helping him get up from his place. Lan zhan was there to hold him "cheng cheng I just realised that I haven't seen my suibian in a while, and lan Zhan said that you have it. Can you please give it to me." Wei ying asked his brother giving him a hopeful look.
Jiang cheng was shocked when he heard wei ying asking him that. He gave lan Zhan a questioning look but just got a nod in return. "I left it in yunmeng you can get it back when I leave." Jiang cheng said looking away.
" Fine. Just give me a normal sword then." Wei ying said pouting like a child. " You will get one when I break your legs wei Wuxian." Jiang cheng said. "I will tell shijie that your threatening me!" Wei ying said trying to look for his shijie.
"Well she is with me!" Jiang cheng replied. "Lan Zhan, look at him!" Wei ying whined calling him for help. "Mn" lan Zhan said picking wei Ying up in his arms taking him away from Jiang cheng.
"Mmph~ lan Zhan! I wanted you to beat him up not take me away." Wei ying said hitting lan zhan's broad chest. "No" he said before taking him towards jingshi.
Wei ying just gave up and enjoyed the sandalwood scent lan Zhan's body had.
Meanwhile in the main hall
Lan qiren and lan xichen were seated together with jiang cheng and yanli not afar. "So do we start the preparations after the classes are over or should we give them some time to court eachother." Jiang cheng asked lan qiren. Lan qiren just sighed " I think it's better after lady jiang's marriage." Lan xichen said while yanli just smiled.
" Fine. As for courting I don't think my brother has that much self control." Jiang cheng said trying not to picture the wangxian couple eloping with eachother.
Lan qiren almost spat out blood but he had realised that it's wangxian who they were talking about. "Very well."
"Grandmaster! Young master lan! We have an emergency!" A disciple Frantically said rushing inside. " What is it" xichen asked getting concerned.
The disciple after catching his breath said " the p-prisoners su she and xueyang have escaped." After hearing this jiang cheng got up from his place quickly hearing what had happened. "What! How!?" He asked.
"We don't know masters. They just disappeared in thin air." Xichen looked tensed and qiren just sat there thinking.
"Call wangji..fast" he ordered the disciple.
