"I don't want to see her being her old self." Aergia whispered.
"Yeah..those creepy smiley marks."
"After the dinner with her maayos pa naman ang lahat. Then she became suddenly like that the day after." Mavy said.
"She have been through a lot. No one knows what she felt. No one knows how hard it is for her." Franco stated. He felt so worried about their queen.
"Our plans kept on failing. We all know how much she hates that." Umiiling na sabi ni Vincent.
"I saw her, everynight...crying her eyes out in her bedroom. She kept on putting the blame to herself." Mas nalungkot ang lahat sa sinabi ni Aergia.
"I saw something in front of her room. She dropped this paper nung magmadali siyang pumasok nung nakaraan." May inabot si Licia.
*folded paper*
Hilig niya ang pagdrawing. Naka sketch ang muka ni Polendez at may malaking cross. Nakapalibot rin ang ilang mga salita tulad ng.. 'Who's my ally?' , 'What to do next?', 'Whom should I kill?'
Pero ang mas nakapukaw ng pansin namin ay ang..
'Who shall I trust?'
*FLASHBACK*
"Mahal na reynang kay ganda." Naabutan ko siyang nakatingin sa labas ng salamin ng opisina siya. Yakap ang sarili habang tinatanaw ang malawak na syudad.
"Keres, yuhoo." I teased her.
Nung unang pasok ko sa grupo ay hindi ko siya magawang biruin. Her presence is not a joke Parang kaunting maling kilos ay papatay siya. That's how powerful she is. How she can shut someone with her mere presence. Kusa kang luluhod at tutungo sa kaniya.
I can't see that Keres now..
All I can see is a weak innocent girl who's still mourning about her past.
"Keres." Nang makalapit ay napagtanto ko ang pag galaw ng balikat niya. "Anong problema mahal na reyna?" I don't think joking right now isn't the best choice.
"Leave."
There. She's being her old self. Cold hearted woman. The dangerous one.
"You're not fine. Do you want to go to the hospital? We can have you checked." I uttered with concern. "Right. We can visit your psychiatrist."
"I'm not sick Ryker." Her voice was firm.
"Please. I think you need it." I'm so fucking worried.
"Leave me the fuck alone!" She shouted as she face me. Tears running down her face. "I am not sick! I just fucking useless. All I can do is to choose between being a killer or a stupid useless leader of this group and I'm so freaking tired!" Inalalayan ko siya ng mapaupo siya sa panghihina kakaiyak.
"Let's go." Seryosong sambit ko.
"Just leave please. I'm not asking you for a favor. I am ordering you as a Queen." He said with a cold voice but she can't hide her shaking shoulders.
I can't argue with that. "Yes Queen." It's an order that we can't refused to do.
"Please be safe and rest. Don't burden yourself too much. We've been rooting for you. We fight because of you." I said before leaving.
After that, everyone was not pleased about what's happening to her. She's our Queen. In this kind of situation, we can't stop her.
"Clean the mess." She said before sitting at the sofa like nothing happened. Agad na sumunod si Caleb sa inutos nitong paglinis ng mga katawan.
"Why are you doing this Keres?" We stiffened as she threw a look at Vincent. Paniguradong hindi nagustuhan ang pagtawag niya dito.
She's been busy eliminating other groups. Masyadong delikado ang ginagawa niya. Hindi 'yon magugustuhan ng mga nakatataas.
"Why do you care?" She spatted.
"We care for you. Stop being a bitch." Napahilamos ako sa mukha ng magsalita si Aergia.
Sinabi ng huwag basta basta magsalita kahit na lahat ay walang alam sa nangyayari.
"You were being so fussy these past few days. I hate that." Keres opened a can of soda before flipping through the channel.
"What's happening to you?" Licia asked but she only received a smirk from Keres.
"You guess.."
"Wala nga kaming ka alam alam! Pamilya mo kami Keres. Hindi ka nag iisa. Mahirap makipag pakiramdaman." Mavy tried to stop Aergia.
"Well that's too bad then." She sighed. "Don't worry about me. I'm fine. I won't let anyone of you get hurt. We will not risk another life." She smiled.
END OF FLASHBACK
"Stop talking about me." Napaayos kami ng upo ng madaanan kami ni Keres sa Backyard. "Follow me."
Agad kaming sumunod sa kaniya hanaggang sa marating ang ASSARO.
"Franco, I need you to work on something." She handed him a folder. He scanned the files. "Locate those bastards. Find and kill them."
"Do you mind if I ask who they are?" Franco sitted in Keres office chair, ignoring her glare.
"They tried to steal our ammos. They found out that Nick is one us."
She handed another folder to us.
"Those are the other group's weknesses. I hope those information helps a lot."
We exchange smiles. Lahat ay paniguradong handa na sa susunod na mangyayri.
"If we can't talk to them in a nice way, we'll have it our way." She said.
"What if no one wants to be on our side?" Licia asked.
"Yep. They will surely do what the royalties wants. Wala tayong laban doon." Aergia stated.
"Then we have no choice but to kill them."
Pinanood namin siyang maglakad paalis.
"Brr. Nakakakilabot talaga." Nanindig ang balahibo ko sa sinabi niya.
"Hindi ka pa nasanay pre. Normal lang yun sa kaniya." Nagpatuloy sa pag lantak ng pulutan si Vincent. Ayos 'to ah kunwari pa.
"Pre, sa ganyang lagay ni Keres ay kayang kaya niya tayong patayin. Gusto ko pang mabuhay, magiiyakan mga chika babes ko." Madrama kong sambit. "Bakit pre, totoo naman diba? Hindi ba kayo kinikilabutan sa kaniya?" Tanong ko pa.
"Bading ka lang talaga." Saad ni Aergia. Nagtawanan ang mga kasama namin at tumatango pa. Bakit sinasang ayunan nila 'to?
"Bading? Ako?! Sa gwapo ko 'to?" Sigaw ko.
"Sige lang. Mangarap ka lang ng gising." Tila nabuburyong sabi niya.
"Tsk tsk tsk. Aergia Carson." Mataray niya akong tinignan. "Alam ko namang may lihim kang pagtingin sa akin madam. Kahit ganiyan ka ay pwede naman kitang pagbigyan. Gusto mo ba ngayong gabi?" Nakangising sambit ko.
Akmang sasampalin niya ako ng hawakan ko ang kamay niya at ipitin yung sa ulunan niya. "Ano ba?! Lumayo ka nga!" Asar na sigaw niya at itinagilid ang ulo para leeg niya ang makaharap ko.
"Please lang. Huwang niyong gawin dito yan. May inosente dito oh. May bata." Pangaasar ni Mavy at tinuro si Franco.
"Tss. I'm not a kid. Ako man ang pinakabata, ako pa rin ang mas may nagagawa." Muling ibinaling ang atensyon sa pagkakalikot sa laptop.
"Hoy! Anong ikaw? Alam naman ng lahat na ako ang mas pinagkakatiwalaan ng mahal na reyna." Asik ko.
"Dream on dude."
"Bitaw nga!" Napaatras ako ng itulak ako ni Aergia. "Letche!"
"Chill madam." I laughed. She looks so cute when she's mad.
"Stop calling me madam. You jerk!" She shouted.
"You should be grateful. Ikaw lang ang tinatawag kong madam." Pagmamalaki ko.
"Grateful my ass." Asik niya bago tumalikod. "Ako lang daw eh tinawag niya rin si Keres na ganun. Tss." Inis na bulong niya ngunit narinig ko rin.
Nakangiti kong sinundan ng tingin ang pagakyat niya sa hagdan.
