Excitement: a feeling of great enthusiasm and eagerness.
Exactly what the group felt when they reunited at the Academy after their week of being with family.
NamJoon had never hugged Jimin so tight, his arms wrapped perfectly around his smaller boyfriend, who just giggled in his hold.
When NamJoon pulled away, Jimin placed his hand on his chest and looked up at him, "How was it? Being home?"
A strong roll of the elders eyes was what he was met with, Joon's hands wrapping around his waist, "That bad, huh?"
NamJoon nodded, moving a piece of Jimin's growing silver hair out of his face, "How about you? You look healthy, really good, baby."
Jimin blushed at his boyfriend's words, not moving to hide his face as he just smiled, "I was working on my stamina and stuff, also being with my family was... refreshing." he told, NamJoon nodding, a small hum escaping his lips.
Jimin smiled as NamJoon leaned down, the younger meeting him half way and connecting their lips. Jimin tilted his head as NamJoon's lips pressed eagerly against his, the two smiling softly into their shared kiss. They didn't go too hard or show too much PDA.
Unlike their friends.
The moment Hoseok saw Yoongi he didn't hesitate in picking the elder up, spinning him around like a prince, and kissing him with the upmost passion anyone could ever see radiate off of someone. Yoongi met his lips with the same amount of it, his hands threading through Hoseok's soft orange hair as they kissed, not caring about the people walking around them.
Since the secret was out, the two could touch and show as much affection as they wanted, which they were thankful for.
When they pulled away, Jimin gave them a look, "You just had to make out in front of the Academy?"
Yoongi chuckled, throwing his head back as Hoseok's hands remained holding him up by his thighs, "Yes, yes we did, because you two-" he looked between NamJoon and Jimin, "-don't have a tug that wants to yank you two together all the time, which only gets worse when you're farther apart. Seok and I, do."
Jimin just rolled his eyes at the comment, not to be rude, but because Jimin was naturally sassy and the rest adored him for it.
Despite how good it felt for Yoongi and Hoseok to be home, the tug between them wanted them near each other, and pulled hard since they were so far apart. It's why they were so excited to see each other again.
Hoseok eventually maneuvered Yoongi onto his back, his boyfriends arms wrapped around his neck while he kept his grip on Yoongi's thighs.
SeokJin was consoling Jungkook while they waited for Taehyung, his hands cupping Jungkook's full cheeks as he told him reassuring words and praised him for standing up to his parents the way he did. It warmed their hearts to see the two share a kiss, because it showed how much Jungkook has changed throughout the last few months.
Taehyung got there a little later than the rest, he would have left with Jimin but he had told the elder of the two to go off when Jimin went to get him, saying he wanted to spend a little more time with family before leaving.
Jungkook and SeokJin greeted their boyfriend with full smiles, hugs, and kisses, all things Taehyung was grateful for as he returned each and every one of them.
Songhee just felt more single than she usually did as she watched them all reunite, kiss, hug, and do all the gross, yet adorable, stuff couples do when they see each after being apart.
"How do you deal with all this everyday?" Ilsung asked from beside her, the young Earth elemental munching on a bag of chips.
Songhee laughed, her arms crossed over her chest as she shrugged, "I love them, all of them, so I guess it helps me put up with the couple stuff all the time."
"I would've choked them all by now, non kinky," Ilsung stated while sticking a chip in his mouth and crunching it extra loud.
Songhee laughed even harder, stealing a chip, which resulted in an EXTREMELY appalled look from Ilsung, and saying, "Just because I haven't doesn't mean I haven't thought about it." she then stuck the chip in her mouth while smiling.
Ilsung still offended she took one of his chips.

Fera was currently floating above the students thanks to Hyunseung, the wind elemental keeping her up as she spoke to them all.
They were in the dining hall, which looked very different from how it was before. Now, they weren't separated by element, the tables were moved closer together and the walls that used to separate their sections were torn down, it looked more open, more... free.
"Hi guys!" Fera shouted, covering her mouth after all of the students covered their ears, she forgot he was projecting her voice. She blushed, moving a strand of her loose hair behind her ear, "sorry, as a marshalle I didn't have the privilege of my voice being projected, or floating, but that's besides the point."
The others laughed at her cute antics, SeokJin in his fire marshalle uniform as he stood near where Fera was floating so the students could all see her.
"As you can clearly see, the dining hall looks different, a lot of the Academy does, but it's for your best interest, I promise," she assured, gesturing towards the space, "you guys can now sit where ever you want with who ever you wish to sit next too, no more having to sit where you're told, just don't cause a ruckus." she told, which had students excited, since before they couldn't really sit next to their friends who wielded elements different from their own.
The next part of the tour was the gardens, which had a lot of them becoming teary eyed at the sight.
HyunSeung set Fera down, the female thanking him. Her hair was straightened and flowing behind her as she walked.
The gardens now had a section full of dozens of different flowers, each of them stating a name of someone who lost their life during one of the battles they had to all endure.
"Consider this like a... flowery graveyard, just without the bodies. I went through a list of people who lost their lives during the fight and had Cashel grow a flower in the color of their elements to honor them, you're all welcome to look around for your friends names." she smiled softly, moving away so the students could look around.
Yoongi, hand in hand with Hoseok, became a little sad when he saw a white flower with blue spots all over it standing near Victor's name. It made him miss his brother a little bit.
Fera even put a flower for Akane and Joonwae, their flowers were intertwined at the stems, one of them was blue and the other was orange, they were beautiful together and their names were displayed like the others.
Janella ran up to Fera, hugging the Chancellor out of nowhere, "T-thank you!" she sobbed into her jacket, Fera smiled while hugging her back; she assumed Janella saw the flower with her bestfriends name.
Janella was one of the reasons Fera even got the idea to do this, she wanted a way to remember the people who lost their lives within the academy; and got this idea.
To alot of the students, it meant more than Fera would ever realize.
They were thankful.

"Okay, guys! Don't dorm with people you know you're going to have sex with!" Fera shouted, Hyunseung's power amplifying it even more; she wanted to make sure the students heard her.
Fera tore down the signs that said Frost Corridor, Fire Corridor, Earth Corridor, and Wind Corridor, because now she'd be allowing the students to dorm with whomever they pleased; though she did have to authorize it.
She stood at the main entrance of the sleeping corridors, holding sets of keys for differnet rooms, her marshalle's holding the others ones. She was handing them out randomly, the students eager to find their new bedrooms. Since they went home, they took all their stuff with them, leaving the rooms bare and ready to be filled with new memories.
Fera was grateful the comforters were neutral colors, because she didn't want to go through the hassle of taking them all off.
Of course, some rooms had colors of the elementals that were supposed to be there, but she honestly didn't care.
Next to grab keys were Hoseok and Yoongi, the two not dorming together but walking together.
Fera raised an eyebrow at them, "If you two want to dorm, you can, but you need to remember the rule, you can't have sex. So, if you can promise me you can control yourselves, i'll let you," she held the key in the air, her eyebrow still raised.
Hoseok and Yoongi shared a glance, Hoseok really thinking about it, and the more he did, the more he realized he wouldn't be able too.
He could barely control it when Yoongi was near him fully clothed and in front of people, so if they were alone together, where Yoongi would have to be naked at some point, he knows he'd go wild.
Hoseok shook his head, "I know I wouldn't," Yoongi nodded, agreeing with his boyfriend.
Fera smiled, a full toothed, gorgeous smile, "I know, I wasn't going to let you either way, I just wanted to make sure you were being honest with yourself," Hoseok and Yoongi gaped at the her, Fera just shrugging with a forming smirk.
Hoseok and SeokJin ended up remaining roommates. Yoongi and Jungkook too.
While Jimin and Taehyung finally got to dorm together, the two obviously excited.
Songhee and Ilsung decided to dorm together, since Songhee was a raging lesbian and Ilsung wasn't into girls. Fera had questioned it at first, but when they assured her they'd be okay, she let them, since she trusted the two. Plus, they thought it'd be fun.
Songhee also told Fera she wasn't looking for sex nor a relationship after what happened with Hayoon.
The elder woman understood that.
"My own room?" NamJoon questioned when Fera already had a key for him.
She nodded, "You've done a lot, and I think you'd like it. I can always-"
"No!" NamJoon shouted a little too loud, causing Fera to smile, "I- thank you, Fera Noona."
She just nodded, ushering NamJoon along and moving on to the next set of students.
Fera actually liked being Chancellor, she thinks it fit her well.
And the entire Academy agreed.

Somewhere miles and miles away from the Academy, deep in the forest, was a witch who wasn't too happy.
Jiwoo refrained from screaming as she healed the wound on her stomach and neck, caused by Yoongi and Hoseok, the wound hasn't healed immediately like she wanted, it's been taking multiple healing spells for her to even close it.
She limped over to her table, closing her eyes as she muttered a spell under her breath.
Calling out to the bug she implanted into Kim Taehyung.
His wound was perfect for her to stick her little spy, which has now become one with Taehyung since no one has gotten the bug out and it's already rotted its way through him.
That made her smile as she watched what he was through the bug, the earth elemental decorating his room with the wind elemental.
"Naive boys," she muttered, "they think its over."
