Yang's office felt big when there were only about three to five people in it, though, when you tried to fit close to ten people it felt more like a they were in a bathroom stall.
Akida was at her desk, visibly choleric, Fera was annoyed while sitting in one of the chairs, Jimin was pressed against NamJoon; SeokJin was sitting down in the other chair, man spreading without a care, with Jungkook holding one of his shoulders and Taehyung's hand on the other; Hoseok was back-hugging Yoongi, he refused to let him go; and Songhee was standing with her arms crossed as she partook in the glaring contest they were all having with Akida.
The cats out of the bag and has run too far for Akida to catch.
Her anger was beyond anything the others have witnessed, but they didn't care, because the truth was out and now they didn't have to hide anymore.
She'd rather protect this good for nothing secret than let fire and frost make contact, which could be a potential advantage for them.
"Why, why did you have to do that?!" she yelled, frustration feeding her tone, "now it's going to be so difficult for me to say something to cover this up-"
"Don't," Hoseok intervened, glaring at her from where he was holding Yoongi, "you can't hide it anymore, I saved his life. What? You're going to kill us like Joonwae? Or push one of us to kill ourselves like you did with your own daughter, Akane?"
The confusion that soon settled into realization was almost comical to watch, Akida's fists clenched, her eyebrows furrowed, and the vein in her forehead pulsed, "You-"
"We know everything," Songhee interrupted, not even giving Akida the chance to say anything, "We know Akane was your and Malchin's daughter, we know you killed Joonwae in front of your daughter to prove some sick point, and we know Akane killed herself because you killed her shadow soulmate in cold blood."
Yang broke eye contact with the girl, a lump forming in her throat as they just revealed every little thing she tried so hard to keep hidden.
"What you don't know though..." Songhee continued, catching Akida's attention once more in her fly trap of information, "is Malchin tried to bring her back using black magik," Yang's eyebrows furrowed at that, she opened her mouth to say something but Songhee kept going, "and what he doesn't know is he succeeded."
Akida's eyebrows furrowed deeper, the woman's expression baffled, she couldn't believe what they were implying, "Are you saying-"
"Akane's alive Akida," Jimin finished for her, his brown eyes looking into Akida's with power that almost made the elder woman shudder, "she is the one attacking the academy with a witch, her twins, and an earth elemental. Hayoon is your grand-daughter and you have a grand-son. Akane was pregnant with Joonwae's kids when she killed herself. She's attacking the academy to get revenge against you for what you did to Joonwae."
Slowly, Akida's fists un-clenched, her eyebrows un-furrowed, and her lips parted, her expression setting into one of disbelief and pain. Tears threatened to spill out of her eyes, but she kept them at bay. She looked down at her desk, her breaths coming out harsh, everything she was hearing sounded completely unreal. Almost like a nightmare she never wanted to live.
Her daughter has been alive this entire time?
And not only that, she had children?
On top of that, Akane was attacking the academy to get revenge against her, she was hurting all these innocent kids because of what Akida did all of those years ago?
She sighed, a defeated one, she looked at all of them, her expression fading into one of neutrality, "What else do you all know?"
Jimin proceeded to explain to her the warnings, what they meant, and how she was going for powerful elementals in each group or ones who had something special about them. They told her about the shadow witch, Akida telling them she already knew about witch-craft.
"You need to prepare everyone, because this attack is going to be worse than all of the others we've faced," Jimin advised, Akida listening to him and nodding along with his words. "I don't think we'll have much time to prepare for it, so anything you know about how to defeat a witch, you need to tell us, you need to tell everyone. Let them know you made a mistake keeping it from them, the fire and frost rumor, they don't know as much as we do." he told her, almost feeling a sort of empathy for the woman but not enough for him to actually care for her.
"You've done enough damage to this academy, Chancellor," Fera added, raising her eyebrow to glare at her, "don't you think it's time to do what's right instead of what will protect your already damaged image?"
Yang's jaw clenched at the obvious jab, she hadn't expected this behavior from Fera, but as of now she didn't know what to expect. She was naive not to think Fera was helping them this entire time, the fire marshalle had her wrapped around her finger.
Akida stood, the others tensing, but calming down when she nudged her head towards the door in her office, "Follow me," she beckoned, opening the door and pulling a piece of wood out, when she did the clothes there shifted to reveal a staircase. She went down, the othes, after some moments, following her.
They ended up in the secret library Jimin and NamJoon already knew about, the others looking around with the same awe the couple had in the beginning when they first saw it.
"I felt your current that day," Akida said towards Jimin, the younger wind elemental humming knowingly as he looked around, her robes dragged softly behind her as she stomped her foot on the ground, at the same time emitting wind from said limp.
The others watched as part of the floor shifted, revealing the books she had hid and others Jimin and NamJoon hadn't seen before, "So I hid the books that would give you information I didn't want you to know," she crouched down, reaching under the books and pulling one out.
This book had orange and white on it, both colors surrounded a half of the book and met at the middle in a misty, yet fiery, embrace. There was snow falling from the top, falling into flames that laid dangerous at the bottom. On the cover it said, Αγκαλιάστε τη φωτιά και τον παγετό (embrace of fire and frost)
She walked over to Yoongi and Hoseok, who had been standing hand in hand, "Read this, both of you, it may be more beneficial than you think."
The two nodded, taking the thick book from their chancellor's hands.
Fera watched expectantly as Akida gave NamJoon and Jimin a book on witches, specifically shadow witches, Jungkook and SeokJin a book on whisps, and Taehyung a book revolving around Earth elementals.
When she was done, Fera asked, "Why keep these books hidden if they're so important?"
Akida stared at her, with an authority Fera almost scoffed at, "They all say something about witches, which is something I didn't want the students knowing about."
"Why?"
"Because I never thought they'd have to face against them." Akida responded quickly, almost practiced.
"And why hide the rumor about frost and fire?" Fera inquired, crossing her arms as she turned her head to really look at Akida.
Said women met her gaze, she scoffed, "You know the answer to that."

"YOU BROUGHT HER BACK AND DIDN'T TELL ME!"
"I DIDN'T THINK IT WORKED!"
"YET YOU STILL TRIED!"
"YES BECAUSE THAT WAS MY FUCKING DAUGHTER, AKIDA!"
The two glared at each other, one with anger and the other with pain.
Akida had gone to Malchin's house in Tejomaya after talking with the others, it was night fall by the time she got there (wind elementals can make themselves and whatever they're on move fast), she needed to tell Malchin about the coming attack, and demand an explanation for why he did what he did.
"Do you realize Akane is the one doing all of this? If you never brought her back this wouldn't be happening!" she screamed, throwing her hands in the air.
Malchin scoffed, his hands on his hips as he shook his head, "This would've never happened if you didn't kill Joonwae in front of her!" he yelled, Akida not daring to make eye-contact with him, "so don't try and blame me, when all of this your fault, Yang Akida."
Akida bit her inner cheek at the jab, her fists clenched as she pulled her emotions inside of the heart she hasn't wanted to admit was inside of her chest.
She sniffled a bit, finally looking at her ex lover, "I need the counselors at the school tomorrow, along with your best elementals, Park Jimin believes this fight won't be pretty and the worst one yet, I agree with him. Make sure you tell them there is a witch involved and to be at the academy before the sun rises." with her commands set, she placed her jacket on and moved towards the door.
Malchin grabbed her wrist before she walked through, asking, "do you not regret anything you've done?"
She stared at him, a painful smile on her face as she replied, "Everyday of my 'miserable' life."
