Yuugo said.
Day 3, Morning
{ Two more days... I'm so sleepy }
A demon attacked us in the middle of the night.
Both last night and the night before.
Ray, Emma, and I have barely gotten any sleep.
"Maybe it got lost from its pack.
At least there was only two of them"
The man was very lively.
We don't know where and when we could get attacked. And that should be the same for him, but...
The way he hides.
How he detects danger.
How he deals with the demons.
His shooting skills and other abilities.

I let out a sigh as we met up again.
I held up a single grape vine... with about three grapes on it.
Emma did the same, but hers had a bit more.
"Here's our lunch for today..."
Emma muttered.
"We couldn't find anything..."
I then muttered.
Emma looked through her backpack and pulled out a few loaves of bread for us.
"Thank you for the food,"
we said in unison.
I took a deep breath.
"I'm so glad... I'm still here with you guys,"
I said softly.
Emma smiled brightly.
"I'm glad as well,"
She said with a smile.
She rested her head on my shoulder and Ray did the same on my other one.
I smiled, remembering we did this was Norman before.
Ray and Emma were on his shoulders,
And I was on his chest.
We had so much fun back then...
I miss how life used to be.

I walked over to Yuugo, Emma and Ray were talking about AO8-63 and stuff.
"Hey, Yuugo,"
I said.
"Hey, Y/n,"
he replied, his attention not on me.
I smirked.
"So you know my name?"
I asked.
He looked surprised.
"And you know mine?"
I nodded,
and then he nodded.
"You tell the other brats and you're dead,"
he said creepily.
I smiled.
"I won't. I won't. Ara~ ara~ I'm not that suicidal,"
I said jokingly.
Nah, I am.
He rolled his eyes.
"What do you want?"
he then asked, narrowing his eyes at me.
"To talk to you,"
I said.
"Well, don't,"
he said.
I deadpanned.
"Why?"
"Because I said so,"
he responded.
"Why though?"
"Are you- Nevermind,"
he deadpanned.
"I lost the love of my life,"
I then told him seriously.
Okay, I just wanted to play.
"Loser,"
he responded.
"If you don't show any symphony, I will break into tears and cause Ray and Emma, mostly Ray, to get overprotective and hurt you,"
I said, tears brimming in my eyes.
He sighed.
"I did too, kid. Get over it,"
he grumbled, patting my head.
"Huh? Really? Who were they?"
I asked.
"They?"
he asked, raising a brow.
"I ain't one to judge,"
I raised my hands in defense.
"I'm not telling you,"
he then said.
"Fine, then I'll tell you. He was my best friend,"
I said.
"Oh, please. Spare me,"
he groaned.
"And so-"
He cut me off.
"I thought you liked Sleepy Cyclops,"
he told me.
"What? Ray?"
I asked in confusion.
"Yeah, yeah. Wait- you're going to tell me you don't?!"
he exclaimed, then covered his mouth, giggling.
"I... Ray and I are just-"
He cut me off again.
"Or is it Antenna?"
I deadpanned, but I could feel my face heating up. I never thought about it much... Ray and I? Emma and I? I don't know...
"They're both-"
"You do! I see it written all over your face!"
He laughed at me as if this was one of the most hilarious things in the world.
"Shut up!"
I then said and he laughed more.
"You're the one who started talking to me!"
"You're the one who let me!"
"No I didn't!"
But soon, we were both laughing.

I soon went back to Emma and Ray.
Emma gave me a smile, and I gave it back.
Yuugo's words replayed in my head.
No, I doubt it.
"I'm scared... What if this path I chose was wrong? My ideals and decisions could get my friends killed. We know that fear and pain, too but... If he lost all his friends...
I wonder how scared the man was. How much did he suffer? I've been thinking about the meaning of the word "Help" written all over the walls,"
Emma continued what she was saying.
I could see the pain in her face.
I frowned and hugged her.
"Ray... Y/n, I want to talk to the man after all. I understand all your reservations, but... yeah! Let's try to outwit him!"
Emma said and stood up.
"What?!"
Ray and I exclaimed.
"Hey! Wait! Mister! Let's have a heart-to-heart before tomorrow comes. We'll be the ones to help you, Mister,"
Emma said, smiling.
