"you're so good to me, I don't deserve you..."

A late night of drinking, something that rarely happened in the Min household, but when it did, it was pleasantly filled with deep conversations and fiery endings.
This night was different.
Yoongi sensed that something was up with his wife the moment she walked into their home after work. She seemed distant instantly, only talking to him if he asked whether she had dinner (to which she gave a short yes.)
In order to see if he could get the noirette to tell him what was going on, Yoongi got out a white wine bottle. When Y/N came downstairs after changing to have a glass of water and saw her husband at the table with the bottle, she glanced at him before averting her gaze.
She decided to sit down opposite him despite her body language. Wordlessly, Yoongi poured her a glass, watching her quickly dunk it down her throat and he poured himself a glass.
Something was definitely wrong.
He took slow sips as he watched her down three glasses. She was getting slow and her exhaustion was showing even more. It seemed as though she wanted to drink until she was wasted, until she dropped dead asleep at the table.
"So, bad day at work?" he began his questioning, taking the bottle away from her before she poured the fourth glass. She slouched back in her seat, sleepily shaking her head.
'Maybe white wine was the wrong drink,' Yoongi thought, realising that she often got sleepy when having it. Even more so as she drank it rapidly.
"It's nothing," she hiccuped, pressing a hand to her chest and letting out a cough before continuing, "just tired today. I shouldn't have sat down. You shouldn't have let me do this, Yoongi," her words were slurred and whining as she said his name.
It was already clear to the coffee-haired male that she wasn't going to talk like she usually did, so he figured he would have to cut his questioning short.
"I'm sorry love, let's go to sleep," he stood up with the bottle and glasses, putting them back on the countertop of their open kitchen to be washed the next morning.
"But— but it hasn't even been long," she whined, her head moving forward to hang low. Yoongi almost felt his heart drop when he thought she was going to bang her head onto the wooden table.
"You're right though love, I shouldn't have let you drink. C'mon now, off to bed," he said with a hint of sternness, putting his hand on her back to gently guide her up.
"I'm dead beat, "she whispered, letting her head fall onto Yoongi's chest once she had stood up fully.
He chuckled, caressing her head. "I'll help you, okay?" Y/N smiled faintly against his skin, groaning again when Yoongi picked her up. Instinctively, she wrapped her legs around his hips and her arms around her neck, which she nestled her head into.
As he walked to their bedroom, she mumbled unintelligibly. Yoongi knew that something was bugging her. 'I'll ask tomorrow morning, after her hangover. Thank god she has a free day.'
He entered the room and laid his lover on their bed. He brought the duvet to cover her body, her eyes closed and her breathing evening out before hearing her murmur, "you're so good to me, I don't deserve you..."
His chest ached from her words, but he smiled softly and kissed her forehead. "You deserve me. You deserve to be cared for and you deserve my love, got that?" he whispered sweetly.
He watched her lips curve up slightly and a quiet giggle released from her mouth. She replied, okay, beginning to doze off into what was hopefully her kind dreamland.
Yoongi sat down beside her fatigued body, brushing away strands of hair from her face. He wished that she opens up soon and never has to feel this again.
