(Chae pov)

It has been two months since Lisa and her had anything beyond their usual intimate moments. Sure they'd kiss and cuddle, but they didn't do anything more than that.

It was frustrating and rather infuriating.

Not because she wanted to have sex with Lisa, given the last time they did it didn't change a thing. Even though she really thought it would.

She was just frustrated because she had allowed two more months to go by and all that had changed between them was Lisa becoming even more distant.

Still, she didn't blame Lisa for enjoying Seulgi's company and friendship. But dance had became the major highlight in their life, to the point where it was all the two would ever focus on.

Lisa was always in the dance studio, recording and working on stuff to boast her social media presence and skills.

Which she really was becoming an even better dancer. Her body... becoming better fit to prove it. But, it seemed like her relationships with everyone, not just her, was straining a bit.

Some, more than others.

Chaeyoung sighed and looked to their table as she entered the lunchroom. Lisa and Seulgi already talking in their usual manner.

Seulgi had even cut her hair short to match Lisa's.

Like the matching couple they were.

She sat down next to Lis and waited the several seconds it always takes to see that Lisa wasn't going to notice her.

But someone else always would.

"Hey Chaeng." Joy smiled and sat beside her.

She grinned and turned to face Soo, while Yeri sat down at the head of the table, where Joy used to sit. At some point during the last couple of months, the girls switched seats.

Not that it mattered to her, since Joy and herself had gotten pretty close.

"Sooo how was first? Did you nail that test you were worried about?" Joy questioned as she took out her lunch.

Handing her the extra sandwich she'd always make for her, even against her word.

"Thanks." She smiled while accepting it. "And yeah, I think I did. Poor Jaehyun doesn't think he did well but I'm sure he did alright."

"He's always hard on himself though right?"

"Oh yes. He never gives himself credit."

"Then of course he did fine." Joy smiled with a roll of her eyes and bit into her sandwich. "He's just overthinking."

"Yeah." She smiled while watching Joy, before eating some of her sandwich.

"Hey bitch."

She turned to Jennie who was glaring at Lisa while passing her a drink from behind the Thai. Jennie's eyes focusing on hers soon after.

"Drink up." Jen smiled while slipping the protein shake into her hand. "We have to remain fit for this week."

"Thanks wifey." She replied and popped open the lid. Taking a sip of the greenish liquid. Making a face as it went down.

"Heyyy." Joy whined. "Cap? I'm on the team too, why don't you ever make me drinks?"

"Are you my hubby?" Jennie replied bluntly.

"Well... no. But I-"

"They aren't really good." She interrupted Joy. Hoping to make her feel better. "They're good for you, but they taste terrible."

"Well thanks." Jennie threw up a hand.

"Not saying it's not made well!" She defended. "It's just, you should be nicer to Joy. She may not be your hubby... but she's the one who makes me a sandwich everyday."

Lisa stopped talking with Seulgi and sat quiet for a second. Chaeyoung's brain lightbulbed in a bingo. But instead, Lisa only returned to talking about dance with the girl.

"Okay, you're right. Joy, thank you for feeding my hubby when others seemingly can't." Jennie smiled sincerely. Even though she was dissing Lisa. "I'll make you one tomorrow."

"Yay! Thanks Jennie." Joy exclaimed happily.

She smiled at the exchange, before glancing to Lisa and sighing at the way her side profile looked.

Lisa was still gorgeous, still very much her girlfriend, and still stupidly ignoring her the second they reached school grounds.

And it was tremendously taking a toll on her heart.

Chaeyoung looked away from Lisa and took another sip of the drink Jennie had made her, when Joy leaned in beside her.

"Hey Chae?"

"Yeah?"

She met Joy's eyes as the woman in bright lipstick smiled.

"You look really pretty today."

Chaeyoung blushed softly and looked away. Shaking her head 'no' as Joy corrected her in saying she was indeed pretty.

Usually she wasn't one to take compliments, but with Lisa's lack of attention... it did feel pretty nice hearing one again.

~

Jennie had just finished giving her a 'you're being stupid, I can't believe any of this right now, you need to tell her' talk after cheer practice, and it had left her feeling pretty down.

She wasn't mad or upset with Jennie, because it was honestly words she needed to hear.

Chaeyoung was just upset with herself for not listening to Jennie sooner. And straining Lisa and Jen's relationship by bringing the darker haired girl in on her feelings.

"I'm sorry." Jennie sighed while learning her head back on the school wall. "It's not your fault, it's Lisa's. And no, it's not your job to have to tell her what she's doing wrong."

"But I should have listened to you." She leaned her head down on Jennie's shoulder, while having her back on the school wall as well. "I just... I got charmed."

"The sex was that good huh?"

She snorted and leaned away from Jennie. Walking over to a light pole and leaning on it instead.

Chaeyoung felt a hand on her shoulder and she smiled as Jennie squeezed it. "I don't even care about Lisa's feelings anymore, I just care about yours."

"If you're hurting the way I think you are, I don't think I'll be able to let it go on for much longer." Jennie back hugged her. "I watched as Lisa fell in love with you, and that stupid girl taught me how to care for others more than anyone else from it."

"That's why it hurts to see that same teacher of mine, fall out of love with you." Jennie sighed.

She quickly left Jennie's hug and turned to her. "She's not falling out of love with me Jennie. She's not."

"Chaeyoung, we can't keep denying th-"

"No Jen. I'm not denying anything. She still loves me, she's just being stupid." She paced and threw out her hands. "Lisa's stupid. And no matter how badly I want to smack her, I still love her too much to."

"She's taught me everything I know as well." She admitted. "Lisa deserves way more credit than she's received for making us all better people than who we once were."

"And that's credit she's going to have to earn again." Jennie huffed. "Because I'm not going to give her any of it until she snaps the fuck out of it."

"Fuck me." She sighed. Kicking the school wall and running some fingers through her hair as she grew agitated.

"Chaeyoung?"

Jennie and her both flinched and looked to Joy who was watching them timidly from the entrance of the school parking lot.

"Jen? You guys okay?"

"Yeah." They both replied in unison before she spoke up again. "We were just talking about something... annoying. That's all."

"Oh." Joy nodded her head with a half smile.

"Really Soo, we're good. Thank you though." She smiled to her. Watching as Joy's smile grew.

"Okay, as long as you're good." Joy beamed. "See you guys tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow." Jennie waved. "I'll remember your drink!"

"Thanks Cap!" Joy replied before hoping into her car.

"She's sweet." Jennie spoke while stepping up beside her once more. "Just like you."

She turned to Jennie and gave her another hug. "Thank you Jen. For putting up with me and everything these past few months. It really means a lot to me."

"Of course babe." Jennie returned her hug before stepping back and looking out towards the parking lot. "Chae, do you need a ride?"

"No." She shook her head. "I have one."

"Is it Lisa?" Jen questioned. "Because I don't see her."

"No, it's not. Thanks for the offer though." She smiled, beginning her walk into the parking lot with Jennie following suit.

"Call me." Jennie stated while turning to her car. "For anything."

"Of course wifey. Thank you."

Jen smiled sadly and got into her car as Chaeyoung walked around the side of a pick up truck. Hopping in the passenger seat.

"Ready for our date?" The warm voice beside her spoke. Making her smile.

"Of course I'm ready." She replied immediately. "And thanks for waiting."

"Not a problem." Bam grinned and started his truck.

Reversing out of the parking lot and driving to the restaurant they had agreed on via text a few days earlier.

"Thanks again for coming out with me." He spoke while keeping his attention on the road. "The guys don't really like going out to eat anywhere that doesn't contain the word fast before food."

She chuckled and glanced his way, meeting his eyes. "Lucky for you, I always agree as long as the place we end up eating at has food. And lots of it."

Bam laughed. "Is Jisoo still the same way with her chicken?" He questioned.

"Yes sir. And I'm fairly certain Jennie's going to be picking some up before heading over to her place later."

Bam nodded with a smile before they fell into a comfortable silence while driving to the seafood restaurant he had been raving about days before.

~

"Holy shit this is delicious." She exclaimed while lifting some more food up to her mouth. Her chopsticks immediately diving back down for more.

"See! Thai curry packs a punch." Bam chuckled while eating more of his appetizer too.

"What's mine again?" She questioned.

"Red Thai Seafood Curry." He grinned. "One of my favorites. I'm happy this place makes it."

"Me too."

She could feel BamBams eyes on her as she ate. She looked up and caught him staring which made him blush and look away.

"What?" She questioned shyly.

"Nothing." He smiled while turning back to face her again. "I just... was thinking about how I hope my future child eats like you."

Her eyes widened as she laughed and reached across the table. Swatting at Bam. "Oh my god."

"I'm serious!" He defended with a cheeky smile. "You try everything and like everything. Except avocados. So, food never goes to waste with you. And you're healthy because of it."

"You're funny." She smiled before taking in his words. "So... you want kids?"

"Yeah." He took some more bites of his food. "Of course I won't be having any right now." He laughed. "I'm still pretty immature... but one day. In the future."

"Now you'll just have to find a girl." She smiled and placed her chopsticks beside her empty bowl.

He nodded and placed his chopsticks down as well. "If I'm being honest... I may have already found one."

Her eyes widened as she leaned forward in her seat. BamBam immediately shaking his hands. "Woah woah, slow down. I don't like that look in your eyes."

"Who is it?" She smiled.

"It's just a little crush okay."

"Baaam." She whined. "Who?"

"I'm not telling."

"Oh my god it's Yeri! I knew it!" She immediately concluded from Bam not wanting to say. "She said she had a crush on someone awhile ago. It's you huh?"

"What? Yeri?" Bam smiled. "No no no Chaeng. Yeri likes my friend Young-jae, not me." He chuckled.

"What? But you guys... you guys talk and are so close." She sighed. "You'd be so cute together."

"Gross." Bam laughed. "I think of Yeri like a sister Chae."

"So, it's someone else then?"

"Yeah... someone else." Bam smiled softly.

She nodded and began wondering who Bam's crush could be, when his words of calling Yeri a sister echoed in her mind.

Bam used to have someone else he also considered as a sister. Or maybe... a cousin.

"Ami misses you." She admitted randomly. "She's been wondering when you'd stop by and visit again."

BamBam frowned before replying quietly. "I can come in and see her later. When I drop you off."

"She'd like that." She smiled sadly. Watching Bam's eyes as they glanced elsewhere. "Bam?"

"Hm?"

"You don't have to worry about Lisa. She's always in the studio... she won't even know you're there."

"It's not like she'd care." He shrugged.

"I care." She reached out for his hand. Taking it up and rubbing her thumb across it.

"Thanks Chae." He spoke. "It's been hard. It's just nice that I still have you."

"You'll always have me."

"That's good. Because I don't want to lose another friend."

~

While eating dinner, she had tried her best to keep their conversation on happy thoughts. Learning that Bam has been keeping busy with his friends and planning out what he wanted to do for the future.

But Lisa had still been brought up a couple more times, yet it was primarily Bam wondering about how she's been doing during the ignoring phase.

And man, was she reaching her breaking point.

But Chaeyoung didn't want to upset Bam further, so she simply said that they were still doing alright at home. While school was just another story that she didn't feel like telling.

And he understood, of course.

It was now, while they were driving back to the Manoban's after dinner, when BamBam decided to question her once more on it.

"I don't want to make you tell me." He spoke quietly. "It just... Lisa not even acknowledging me anymore? It hurts. And if it hurts me... I can only imagine how it's hurting you."

She kept her eyes out the window while he spoke. Knowing if she looked at his face, her tears would surely fall immediately.

"And I know you said you're doing okay at home but... but how okay really is it? Does she even kiss you anymore?"

"She kisses me..." She replied just as quiet.

"That's good." Bam sighed sadly. "That's good. And, you guys talk a lot? Just about the day and stuff?"

She shook her head, focusing on the trees they passed by. Really trying her best to keep things in.

"Not really..." She spoke. Her breath catching.

BamBam could probably feel her struggle, because she soon felt a soft hand on top of hers.

Chaeyoung looked down to their hands and flipped hers, to hold his. Tears immediately falling as she sniffed and he squeezed her hand in reassurance.

"She used to hold my hand while driving." She admitted through her tears. "Just like this."

Bam glanced to her and frowned. "Does she not anymore?"

"No..." Chaeyoung sniffed and wiped her tears away with her other hand. "No, she stopped doing that awhile ago."

As soon as Bam parked his truck across the street from the house, he leaned across the center console and pulled her into a hug.

Chaeyoung reciprocating it with fresh tears. Putting her head into the crook of his neck and holding onto his shirt as they sat.

His hands rubbing her back. "I'm sorry Chae."

"I'll be okay." She whispered shakily against him. Before she backed out of the embraced and wiped her eyes once more.

They sat for a little while longer, until she looked decent enough in the eyes to enter the house. Turning to Bam and asking him if he was ready to go in.

Bam looked at her softly, taking a moment before nodding and putting his keys in his pocket.

They climbed out of the truck, bringing her school bag with as they walked up to the front door together.

Chaeyoung knocked quietly and they waited the several seconds it took, before a shorter woman opened the door.

"Hey hon- Bam!" Ami jumped excitedly while looking to the taller boy. "Come in, come in."

Momma Ami gave her a quick hug as she passed, before wrapping Bam up in a longer one. "There's my boy. How are you?"

"I'm good Auntie A." He smiled softly as they exited their embrace. "How are you? I'm sorry I haven't visited lately."

"Oh I'm fine sweetie. Just looking forward to retirement." Ami smiled.

"Ah that's right, Marco's retiring soon huh?" Bam asked as they all walked into the kitchen. Standing around the counter.

"Yes, he's in Thailand right now. After getting the restaurants situated without him, we both decided maybe it was best just to sell. The restaurant chains and the house."

"Wait, you're selling the house in Bangkok too?"

"Yeah." Ami admitted. "We're fairly certain Australia will be where we move to next. Not back home. Seeing how Lisa had made it so adamantly clear that Chaeyoung and her were moving there after school. Isn't that right sweetie?"

She looked to Ami and nodded. Her fake smile diminishing as the caring woman looked away.

"Oh goodness, I'm sure you wanted to see Lisa too right?" Ami questioned Bam. "She's in the studio, let me go get her."

"Actually-" Bam interrupted her. Momma Ami looking to him questionably. "You don't have to get Lisa."

"No?"

"No. We're... we're not really speaking at the moment."

Ami faced him, staring confusedly, before glancing back to her for confirmation. And when their eyes met, she had to look away.

"What's going on?"

"It's... it's nothing." Bam replied to her. "Just your typical school drama."

"What kind of typical school drama is Lisa causing?"

She turned to Ami and Bam. Seeing how his eyes were just as wide as hers.

"I'm not a fool. I can tell when the issue is something my daughter has caused. Lisa can be smart, but she can also be a lot like her father." Ami spoke while turning to her. "Her biological father."

She stepped closer to Ami and took up her hand as Bam spoke. "Lisa's just been... really wrapped up in dance and all. Her new friend, Seulgi, she's really nice but... but Lisa just can't stop talking to her."

"Like, can't stop to the point where she won't. Not even for a second." He sighed and rustled his hair. "Even if Chaeyoung is sitting right next to her, Lisa won't acknowledge her. So she definitely doesn't acknowledge me... or anyone. For that matter."

"Is this true?" Ami spoke, while looking at her. "Does Lisa ignore you? You both?" Ami glanced between them.

"Only at school." She whispered.

"No... no Lisa's doing it everywhere now. You said it yourself Chaeyoung, you don't talk that much anymore and she doesn't even hold your hand." Bam spoke, agitatedly.

"Lisa's already lost me as a friend Auntie A." He admitted through wet eyes. "And I know Jennie's getting pissed and Chae... well she's gonna lose her too."

Ami released her hand and reached up and around Bam, pulling him down into her embrace as Chaeyoung watched on through tearful eyes.

BamBam started crying into Ami's shoulder and the sweet woman began whispering to him in Thai.

She was recognizing some of the words before giving up on trying to translate and closing her eyes.

Feeling a tap on her shoulder, she looked up to Ami who was still comforting Bam with her free hand. "Why don't you head upstairs honey? Give us a moment?"

She nodded and spoke a quick thank you and bye to Bam for the day. Him nodding against Ami's shirt, not looking up.

Chaeyoung walked upstairs and sat her bag on the floor of their bedroom before crawling up on the bed and laying faced down into a pillow.

She was there. She was right there.

The breaking point.

She heard a door open and shut outside. Her interest being peaked as she got up and moved to the window, where she could see two bodies below.

Ami had her hand on Bam's back as they walked into the driveway, before sharing another hug and talking.

Bam was doing a lot of head nods and shuffling of his feet as Ami spoke to him in what she could only imagine was the warmest motherly voice on the planet.

She sighed and walked over to the closet. Changing into a pair of pajamas before climbing back onto bed.

Picking at the sheets until she heard Bam's truck start, and the front door open and shut.

Light steps were being taken up to her as Bam pulled away, before her motherly figure entered the room and sat on the bed beside her.

"Tell me baby." Ami spoke. "Has this been going on for months?"

She looked up to Ami and the woman placed a hand on her shoulder. She nodded lowly before looking back at the comforter.

Continuing her pickings of loose fabric.

"So all those times you've looked down... it was because Lisa had been ignoring you? Unintentionally?"

"You could... tell I was down?" She whispered.

"Mhm. I'm a nurse honey. My job requires a lot of patience and observation. Two things I thought Lisa was good at."

"She is..." She sighed. "Lisa can just be blinded by things easily. She's working really hard on her dance career right now and s-"

"Can you please stop defending my daughter's actions Chaeyoung."

Her eyes widened as she looked back to Ami. Lisa's mom sighing with a smile as she wrapped her one hand that was on her back, around it. Pulling her in close.

"Lisa is an amazing daughter, when she's not doing something stupid, like this. I wouldn't trade her for the world, but I would knock her upside the head whenever she needs to get her priorities straight."

Momma Ami booped her nose. "You are our priority. Her priority. Your happiness. As much as we all want her to succeed in dance, much like she wants herself to, Lisa needs to make sure you're happy."

"But Mom..." She leaned into Ami's side and closed her eyes. "I'm just trying to make sure she's happy."

"Lisa's happy having you."

"But it's not fair that she has to stop doing what she loves and talking about it with someone she relates to just so I'm happy."

"Now who said she had to stop that? I'm saying my daughter needs to stop ignoring you, but she can still dance and talk to her friend Seulgee or whomever."

She chuckled and raised her head. "Seulgi."

"Yes, or whomever." Momma Ami smiled.

"I just don't want to hurt her feelings." She admitted, more to herself than to Ami.

"You won't."

"But..."

"Then let me hurt her feelings? Let me open a can of Ami whoop ass on my daughter? She deserves it."

Roseanne snorted. "Momma no."

"Why not?" Ami groaned. "I'm honestly very upset about this."

"I know you are." She put her arms around Ami. "But, I'm Lisa's girlfriend. And I'm also the one whose been putting this conversation off."

"So, you're going to speak to her?"

"Yes, but not tonight... we have school tomorrow and I don't want to get into this whole mess when we still have tomorrow. So, this weekend, I will."

Ami leaned back from her hug and cupped her cheek. "You really mean that? That you'll talk to her about it all this weekend?"

She nodded. "I won't put it off anymore... but if I happen to, then you have my full permission to open your can of Ami whoop ass on her."

"Can't wait." Momma Ami smiled and kissed her forehead. "Want a cuddle session?"

She smiled and nodded her head violently.

Ami and her laid down beside each other on the bed. Chaeyoung resting her head on the woman's stomach as Ami played with her hair and rubbed her back soothingly.

Humming a tune softly, until she couldn't hear it anymore, and darkness took her to sleep.

~

Chaeyoung woke up to rustling beside her.

No longer laying in Ami's embrace, but watching through tired eyes as Lisa crawled into the bed beside her.

Hair slightly damp from an apparent shower.

"Sorry..." Lisa whispered with a smile as put a hand around her waist. Scooting in closer to her. "I didn't mean to wake you."

She swallowed and studied Lisa's face, feeling like it was the first time she's seen it all day. "It's... okay."

Lisa smiled warmly as her hand rubbed her side.

The gesture and the Thai's eyes made something that was already so weak, snap, and she started crying from the breaking of it.

Her eyes shut as she sobbed and Lisa's hand tightened its hold of her. "Rosie? Baby what's wrong?"

She leaned in and Lisa wrapped her arm under and around her back, while the one that was currently on her went up to her neck. Pulling her head in tightly against her chest.

"I've missed you." She cried into Lisa's chest and neck.

Lisa readjusted her hand on her neck and kissed the side of her. "I'm right here baby. Shhh... I'm right here."

I know you're here now Lisa.

I've missed the you that loves me.

~

(Lisa pov)

When she woke up that morning, her immediate first thoughts of the day were 'what happened last night?' and 'where's chaeng?'.

Lisa got out of bed and headed into the restroom. Relieving herself before making her way downstairs, and spotting a seemingly deep in thought Chaeyoung on the couch.

She walked over to her girlfriend and put her arms around her from behind. Rosie flinching from the surprise but relaxing into her anyways.

Making her smile as she kissed the Australian's neck several times.

"You okay baby?" She whispered as she nestled her head against hers.

"Yeah."

She released Chae and crawled over the backside of the couch. Sitting beside her and putting her arm around her, resting it on the backrest.

"What happened last night?"

Rosie looked to the ground before shifting back to her eyes. Lisa, not sure as to what she was seeing within them. "Nothing."

She chuckled and cupped Chaeyoung's cheek. "That wasn't nothing."

"I just missed you... that's all."

Lisa smiled sadly as she leaned forward and kissed her lips. "I know, I was dancing most the day."

"You dance everyday." Rosie stood up abruptly.

"Hey... Chae." She put her hand on her arm as she stood as well. "You know I like dancing, but you had your dinner with your friend last night and I just wasn't made aware when you got home. I'm sorry."

Chaeyoung nodded before turning and pulling her arm away. "I'm going to go get ready for school, there's breakfast on the counter."

"Wait, Chaeng." She called, following her girlfriend up the first couple of steps. "Let's talk ab-"

"I don't want to talk about it right now Lisa." Rosie spoke, looking over her shoulder to her. "I didn't mean to cry last night, I was just tired. We have school soon and your breakfast is going to get cold."

"But baby..."

"I made it for you." Chaeyoung spoke while looking away and continuing up the stairs. "Please don't let it go to waste."

She watched as Chaeyoung disappeared at the top, her heart sinking when she did.

But she walked back down the couple of steps, to the kitchen counter where a plate of food had been set for her.

It made her smile seeing what Chaeyoung had prepared.

So she sat down and began eating. Not letting Rosie's food for her go to waste as she thought about Chaeyoung.

It seemed weird that she'd be this defensive in the morning? When supposedly she had missed her a lot yesterday?

And it was true that they hadn't seen each other that much yesterday, since her girlfriend had cheer practice and then a dinner following immediately after with a friend.

So Lisa just assumed it was a day they'd be spending doing their own thing?

But if Rosie didn't want to talk about it, then maybe last night really was just Chae being tired?

Even though that didn't really seem like it.

~

The car ride to school felt long.

She kept glancing over to Chaeyoung periodically, but her girlfriend's attention was always focused out the window while she drove.

Lisa contemplating saying something more, even reaching over to take up her hand once, but decided against it.

Rosie was the sweetest, but if made angry, she was scary.

And there was a high chance that if she continuously kept trying to figure out what had happened last night, she'd accidentally put Roseanne deeper into a mood.

So she'd just have to let Chaeng be, and hope that whatever it was would pass, so they could go back to being good.

Because she hated when Rosie was sad.

They arrived to the parking lot and Lisa got quickly out. Still walking around to Chaeyoung's door, even though the Australian had already begun getting out on her own.

"Here, I've got it." She spoke while pulling the door open the rest of the way while Rosie mumbled a small 'thank you' and stepped fully out.

She shut the door and smiled to Chae. The blonde giving her a half smile in return, before turning and walking up to the school.

Lisa stepped back admired her walk from behind. The way her girlfriend had gained more self confidence, all on her own.

That confidence showing well in her sway.

Once entering the school, she noticed Seulgi standing in her usual spot down the hall.

She went to put a hand on Rosie's back, about to say goodbye, when her girlfriend simply walked away. Lisa hearing a soft 'see you later' before Chaeyoung disappeared within the mess of students.

It was odd. Because usually she'd be the one to say goodbye first.

Either way, Seulgi was waiting for her, so she quickly took off down the hall. Nodding her head to other students that were saying hi as she jogged by.

"Sup Seul."

"Hey, so you know how we were asked to express something interpretively in dance?"

"Yeah?"

"Well what are you going to be expressing and how will you express it?"

She laughed at Seulgi's question. Shrugging her shoulders jokingly as they began walking.

"Interpretive dance is hard, even for someone like me." She confessed. "I've had some ideas... but I'm not to sure yet to be honest."

Seulgi smiled and nodded while holding her books close to her chest.

They walked to first in comfortable silence, which was nice for Lisa to enjoy considering her fairly eventful morning already.

But even now, her morning only seemed to be getting more bizarre...

Maybe it was because she was seemingly hyper aware of everything today, or the fact she was thinking more than she usually would, but students seemed to be looking at her.

Or them?

She just smiled and did her usual waves to people that knew her somehow. But one guy's words as they passed by didn't sit right with her.

"There's the two girls." The familiar boy grinned while shooting her a wink.

She stopped walking and watched as the guy walked away, not really knowing why it made her so uneasy. I mean, Seulgi and her were just two girls? But why the wink?"

"You okay Lisa?" Seulgi asked while looking to her.

She looked away from the guys back and nodded. "Yeah, it's nothing." She smiled toothlessly. "Come on, lets head to first."

They continued walking and she tried to think of what kind of dance she'd be doing, but for some reason, she couldn't get that guy out of her head.

~

As first was ending, Seulgi leaned over to her table for the third time and asked her yet again if she was okay.

She shrugged and shook her head, like she did the time before that. And the time before that.

"I don't know... I just feel weird."

"You feel weird?" Seulgi questioned.

"Yeah, like there's something in the air?" She sighed. "The last time I felt this way, I got beat up by a man at a gas station."

"The guy that hurt Chae right? I think I remember you telling me about him."

"Yeah, that guy..." She grit her teeth. "But he's in prison now so it can't be him."

"So you don't know what it is then?" Seulgi asked. "No other ideas?"

"No? Why? Do you?" She questioned, slightly jokingly. The bell ringing after and prompting her to stand.

"Well no." Seulgi chuckled. "But... I mean... I have been hearing some things."

"Hearing some things?" She questioned. "What things?"

"Nothing true." Seulgi stated as they walked out into the hallway. Heading the same direction for a little ways, until Seul would have to head another way. "Just stuff, that's all."

"But... should I be worried?" She questioned as they came to a stop. "Is someone messing with you Seul?"

"Oh no Lis." Seulgi laughed and put a hand on her arm. "I'm fine. And it's really nothing, you just go see your friends and Chae."

"Okay?" She chuckled as Seulgi began walking away.

Lisa sighed and started walking down the hallway when a guy began matching her pace from beside her.

"You don't kiss your girlfriend goodbye?"

She looked to the familiar guy from earlier and stopped dead in her tracks. Staring at him. "What?"

"Your girlfriend?" He questioned, gesturing backwards to where Seulgi and her just were.

"Huh? Seulgi?" Her eyes widened. "She's not my girlfriend."

"Oh? I thought she was? You're always together?" The boy started walking once more.

It was her turn to match his pace as she followed. "Well that's because we're friends." She replied confusedly. "I'm dating Chaeyoung."

"Still?"

"Yes?"

The boy chuckled as he turned, making eye contact with her again while stopped in front of her second period door.

"Sorry, I just thought you two had broken up? I mean, considering I never see you guys talking or anything..."

"Excuse me? I talk to Chaeyoung! We live together for goodness sake." She felt her heart rate increasing as he stared.

"Hey, I said sorry." The boy backed away. "No need to get worked up Manoban."

"Se-hun, come on." A guy beckoned the boy into their second period. Lisa realizing the guy looked so familiar because they shared the class together.

This, Se-hun, gave her a half smile before entering the classroom with his friend while a hand was being placed on her back, making her flinch.

"What was that about?" Jisoo questioned.

"How much of that did you hear?"

"All of it." Jisoo spoke. "I was behind you the whole time. We walk together, remember?"

"Oh yeah... that's right."

"I'm also a ninja." Jisoo chuckled while walking past her and entering the classroom. She shook her head and followed Chu in, before stopping when she spotted Chaeyoung.

Her girlfriend was talking to with Jennie, back turned to the door, and from across the room she could see Se-hun watching them curiously.

Maybe it was because he was looking, or because she felt like she needed to prove a point, but Lisa found herself moving swiftly over to her girlfriend as the bell rang.

Tapping Chaeyoung on the shoulder, waiting for her to turn around, then cupping both her cheeks as she leaned down and kissed her lips assertively.

"That's what he gets for thinking we weren't dating anymore." She whispered into Rosie's lips before sitting down on her seat and smiling smugly.

Knowing well that he saw.

"W-What?" Chaeyoung whispered from beside her.

"I know right?" She shook her head. "He thought we weren't together anymore. Claimed we never talked or whatever... but we still do? Stupid huh? But don't worry, I told him w-"

Chaeyoung got out of her seat so fast, her chair screeched across the floor as she grabbed her bag and rushed to the classroom door.

"Chae?" She called after her, but the girl had already disappeared from the class, and her footsteps were now echoing down the empty hall as she ran.

Lisa was left in a complete daze as she stood to follow her. But Jennie had already beaten her to the door.

"Stay here Manoban!" Jennie demanded. "You've caused enough..."

She stared jaw slacked as Jennie scowled, before leaving the classroom and chasing after her own girlfriend... instead of her.

"What the... what the heck?" She breathed heavily. What did she do? She didn't do anything to Chaeyoung? Right? She just kissed her for gods sake!

Girlfriends kiss!

There was a loud clearing of a throat as she turned on her heels and faced the front. Her teacher staring her down, before looking at the rest of the class.

"Anyone else feel like making a dramatic exit from my classroom?" Her teacher questioned. Everyone glancing to one another, before a someone stood.

"I will." Bam said with a smile as he grabbed his stuff off the desk and whispered something to Yeri. He then turned and walked towards the door, shoulder checking her as he did.

She put a hand on her shoulder as he disappeared into the hall. Left standing completely confused as Jisoo walked over and put a hand on her arm.

Bringing her back to her seat.

"I don't understand Chu..." She spoke as students gazes finally began turning away from her. "I don't... I-"

"I know you don't understand." Jisoo whispered quietly. "You couldn't see what you were doing. You weren't thinking."

"What was I doing?" She asked. "Jisoo? Jisoo what was I doing?"

Chu looked to her sympathetically before shaking her head. "It's not my place to say... and, I honestly didn't even see it myself... until Jennie pointed it out to me."

"Pointed what out?" She urged her on. "Jisoo please."

"I'm sorry Lis." Jisoo frowned. "You'll just need to find out for yourself."

She looked from Chu to her tabletop. Furrowing her brows as she tried to piece last night, this morning, and the mess that happened after that kiss together.

Yet no matter how long she thought about it, it just didn't add up?

There was something definitely missing. And whatever it was, clearly she was too stupid to notice it being gone. Much like what Jisoo had said earlier.

She had done something... been doing something... and everyone had noticed.

But her.
