(Jennie pov)
Jennie was laughing along to something the several girls around her were joking about when she peeked over to her right and noticed Rosie quietly scrolling through her phone on the other side of Lisa.
The Australian having one hand on her device while the other was wrapped around Manoban's arm.
Lisa, the girl who was talking rather loudly with Seulgi. About something she's certain no one else really knew about.
Jennie bunched up her nose in thought.
What was off about this picture?
Her thoughts dissipated when Irene spoke out her name, capturing her attention. She smiled as she answered the woman's questions about their cheer season, before another voice sounded from across the table.
Jen glances back to her right as Joy was focusing on a certain blonde. Shuffling in her seat at the head of the table and scooting a little closer to Chaeyoung while asking her about her day.
Jennie watched as Rosie smiled and slowly unwrapped her one arm from its place around Lisa's and locked her phone. Beginning small talk with Joy.
The two girls talking wasn't anything new, and it didn't really surprise her either. But the way Rosie's arm unhooked with Lisa's, and the way Lisa didn't even seem to notice it leaving... left her feeling rather uneasy.
She was still wondering what it was about the scene when a hot breath tickled her ear.
"Something wrong?"
She jolted a bit while turning her head to a smiling Jisoo.
"Sorry. Did I scare you?"
"Just surprised me." She chuckled.
"I keep forgetting you get surprised super easily." Jisoo smiled and placed a hand on her arm.
She grinned and leaned her head against her girlfriend's shoulder before staring back at the girls on the other side of the table.
"Chu? Has Lisa been... off to you?" She questioned after seeing Rosie glance to the Thai, before reverting her attention back to Joy.
Realizing Chaeyoung was thinking about Lisa, much like how she was.
"Off? Not really. Why?"
"I don't know... something just, doesn't feel right."
"Could it be that her hair isn't blonde anymore? Cause at first I thought it didn't seem right until I realized it's just me not being used to it grey." Jisoo laughed.
She smiled and shook her head. "No, I think her hair's nice and complimented her on it earlier. So it's definitely something else."
"Well, I don't know what to tell you babe." Jisoo frowned and put an arm around her lower back. She turned to Chu and pouted. "It's just, Lisa and I talk in second period a lot and she seems fine?"
She nodded and relaxed her tensed shoulders a bit, before quietly glancing back to the couple once Jisoo had returned to conversing with Wendy and Irene.
Yeri was also chatting with Joy and Chae now, but Lisa and Seulgi were still deep in their conversation.
And maybe that's the thing that made something click? Because currently there was a lightbulb going off in the thick, stubborn brain of hers.
Chu of course wouldn't notice a difference with Lisa because when the two would meet up in the hall and walk to second together, Seulgi would already be making her way towards her own class.
Because Seulgi wasn't in their second period. So Lisa couldn't ignore others and only talk with her, like she seemed to be right now.
Actually, now that Jennie was finally thinking about it, the thing that was making her so uneasy was Lisa's complete lack of acknowledging anyone else around her.
Especially someone as important as Chaeyoung.
She huffed to herself and looked towards the tabletop.
Lisa loves Rosie. Like... immensely. So Seulgi had to be someone pretty special then right? To capture Lisa's attention like this?
But she doesn't really know Seulgi well enough to judge.
Mainly because she hasn't taken the time to talk to her, and the girl always seems a bit shy in the beginning of any conversation anyways.
Either way, she's getting down to the bottom of this.

(Chae pov)
The entirety of the day had been boring. Each class she had seemed to draw on for what felt like forever. Even lunch was pretty uneventful, which it kind of has been these past couple of months.
At least Joy and Yeri began talking with her during it. Or else school really would be killing her from boredom.
She was happy that Joy was pretty conversational, especially around her. It at least gave her someone to talk to while Lisa was too busy chatting with Seulgi to notice her being quiet.
Yeri was also great company to have beside her at their end of the table. She felt less ignored in the girls' presence at least.
But now she was making her way to another couple of girls whom she knew wouldn't accidentally ignore her.
"Hey Chae." Wendy greeted her with a hug at the door before they entered their class together. Music.
Gathering in a circle towards the front, around the piano where other students were waiting.
"Siwon said to gather around." Wendy shrugged while giving her a smile. "Not sure what we're doing."
"He told me we're starting that score today." She grinned.
"Really? Awesome! I've been waiting for the day we'd actually start learning to play as one." Wendy jumped happily.
"What's got you so excited?" A voice questioned. Both Wendy and her looking towards Yoongi who was approaching them.
"We're starting the score today." Wendy smiled.
"Yeah? How do you know?"
"Siwon told Chae."
Yoongi squinted his eyes and looked to her. His gaze making her gulp. "Why would he tell her?" He questioned. "And not the rest of us?"
"Because Chaeng's cool."
The three of them looked to Jisoo who came skipping up. Chaeyoung smiled and embraced the shorter girl. "Hey Chu."
"Hey Chae."
Yoongi was still giving her the side eye, but his attention adverted when Siwon walked in and towards the center of the circle.
"Hey guys!" Siwon spoke chipperly. "Are we excited or what?"
"Excited for what?" A student questioned.
"Oh that's right! I forgot to mention it." Siwon laughed. "Sorry, I'm still on gym brain."
"Well Gym Brain, what is it?!" Another student poked..
She laughed at the name and Siwon rolled his eyes.
"We are going to be starting that score I've been working on these past few weeks today." He stated proudly.
"Like you wrote it? Or did you change some of the original to better suit our needs." Wendy raised a brow.
"Oh come on Wendy. I only used the original as inspiration." Siwon waved her off. "So? Excited yeah? We're going to need everyone to come through and pull together."
Siwon began talking with his hands exaggeratedly. "We're going to need strings, brass, percussion, guitars, preferably four of those. And the piano." Siwon smiled, putting his hand on the one beside him.
"You forgot woodwind." Wendy stated.
"Yeah and whatever the hell woodwind is."
"That's us sir." A student and his friends raised their flutes and other instruments of common nature.
"Oh really? Sorry guys." Siwon frowned before clapping his hands. "Yes and the woodwind crew! We'll need everyone's help to pull this off."
"Let me guess." Min Yoon-gi spoke. "You'll be piano..." The boy gestured to the instrument.
"No, you'll be piano." Siwon smiled. "I won't be playing anything. I'll just be guiding you guys and making sure you know when it's your part."
"So you'll be conducting?" Wendy asked.
"Does it look like I know how to operate a train?"
They all laughed and Siwon smiled. "I'm kidding. Yes Wendy. I will be, while you'll be on one of the guitars." Siwon pointed. "And Chaeyoung, you'll be on another."
She nodded while Siwon went over to Jisoo and told her to forget about her 'drums' that they all knew she couldn't really play. "Jisoo, you'll be using that voice of yours instead."
"My voice?" Chu asked.
"Of course! I've heard you singing those little songs you make. The last one was about balloons right?"
"Helium." Jisoo smiled.
"Right." Siwon laughed. "Anyways, there's going to be much needed vocals and sub vocals so I'll use you, several others, and..." Siwon looked back towards Wendy. "And you Seung-wan."
"Me?"
"Yes ma'am. Chaeyoung told me you were good. A real powerhouse!"
Wendy blushed and looked to her. She smiled and looked down. Pretty sure Wendy didn't know she would listen in on her song composing sometimes.
"What about Chae?"Jisoo questioned Siwon. "She's good too."
She looked back up and noticed all the students eyes on her.
"Oh, I know she's good Kim." Siwon grinned. "That's why she's got the lead."
Her heart thudded low as she bit her lip.
Some students smiled to her while others stared confused. She just looked to Jisoo and smiled awkwardly as Yoongi cleared his throat and stepped up to her ear.
"Sounds like someone's a favorite." He whispered before looking to Siwon. "How about we take a look at this score of yours first? Then figure out the rest of the parts out later? Hm?"
Yoongi rolled his eyes. "I'm getting bored."
Siwon smiled thin lipped and blinked before shrugging. "Fine. Since i've got all the copies already printed."
Chaeyoung sighed while Siwon began handing out papers and chatting with each student about their parts while doing so.
Yoongi glancing her way again before facing Siwon with a huff.
She had herself a certified rival in music. Even though this class was supposed to be about coming together.
Hopefully they'll be able to play better than they get along.

It's been over five minutes since the final bell rang and students had headed home for the day.
She was currently leaning her back against the hall wall while waiting beside the stairs that headed up towards the gym locker room.
Where her cheer bag resided in a locker.
Chaeyoung glanced to the time again before pushing off the wall starting a slow march up the steps.
Lisa and her would meet here everyday to say goodbyes before she'd head to practice and Lisa would head to... well... wherever Lisa would head to.
As she took another step, her ears tuned in on the unusual sound of sneakers running against the hall floor.
She stopped and looked back to the girl who was running up to her in shallow pants.
"I'm sorry." Lisa spoke. Starting up the steps to her. "I'm sorry baby. I got wrapped up."
In someone whose name starts with an S right?
"It's okay." She sighed and continued up a couple more steps to where the landing was. Turning around and facing Lisa who walked up to her and took up her hand.
"I'm sorry Chae." Lis spoke again, pouting. "My teacher, she had me..."
She leaned forward, interrupting Lisa by putting her head into the crook of her neck and wrapping her arms around her girlfriend.
Silently hating herself for immediately assuming Lisa had lost track of time because of Seulgi.
Even though she knew they only shared first period together.
"It's okay." She repeated while hugging Lisa. Loosing track of time herself as she closed her eyes and breathed in her scent. Loving the younger girls warmth.
Lisa put a hand on her waist and another on her cheek as she pulled back and looked at her.
"Are you okay?" The Thai's eyes softened and looked her over.
"I'm... okay."
"Positive?"
She looked into Lisa's eyes and nodded. Unable to find the heart to tell her what's been on her mind. Especially in this moment.
"Okay." Lisa smiled sadly before leaning forward and kissing her lips softly. "I love you." Lis spoke before pecking her lips again.
Chaeyoung pouted and squeezed her hand. "I love you too Lis." She replied, stealing another kiss from her seeing how she hadn't had any at school from her all day.
"You should get going babe." Lisa spoke while pinching her cheek. "I already put you behind."
"Coach can wait." She quickly defended. Not wanting Lisa to run off so soon when she was finally getting the attention she craved. "What will you do?"
"I'll probably go practice my moves or head to the caffe or something." Lisa smiled. "Want something from there if I go?"
Food? God Lisa made it so hard to be upset with her.
"Yes please." She pouted and looked to her.
"Haha, okay baby. I'll get you your favorite." Lisa kissed her forehead and released her hand. "Now go get ready. I'll pick you up later."
"Okay." She smiled and watched as Lisa turned and jogged down the steps. Walking down the hallway but doing a spin move to blow her a kiss before continuing her walk and disappearing.
"Fuck me." She sighed and turned. Continuing up the steps and into the locker room where she changed quickly and rushed back out towards the gym.
Entering it and sighing again, but in relief. As she noticed their Coach was too busy discussing something with a group of people to notice her slipping in late.
"You good?" Jen questioned as she approached the Captain.
"Yeah, I'm fine." She smiled and got on the floor beside her. Beginning her leg stretches. "I was just talking with Lisa."
Jennie raised a brow and looked over. "Really? What about?"
"Oh, nothing serious. Just talking." She smiled, knowing Jennie was probably thinking something was up from her tone. "Lisa was just late to meet me, but I guess her teacher kept her back."
"Hm..." Jennie hummed and changed stretches. "Rosie? Can I ask you something?"
She looked to Jennie and became a bit worried. "Uh, yeah? Of course."
"Are Lisa and you good?"
Chaeyoung felt her heart physically stop as she began her quick, inner debate, on if she really wanted to tell Jennie how she's been feeling lately.
"Um..."
"I'm sure you guys are." Jen quickly said while shooting her a soft smile. "Like, I see your posts on Instagram and you both seem happy and still very much in love. It was just, lunch today left me feeling off..."
"Lunch?" She questioned.
"Yeah... like Lisa was talking with Seulgi, and you with the girls. I don't think I heard either of you guys utter a single word to one another."
She looked to the floor as she leaned forward and held onto the base of her feet. Shrugging while releasing a breath. "It's because we didn't."
"Didn't say anything to each other?" Jennie asked.
"Yeah..." She admitted. Looking to Jennie who seemed worried. "Look Jen, we're good... when we're home. But at school? I'm pretty much passed off for Seulgi anytime she's around."
Jennie's face quickly changed from a worried one, to one of anger. She scooted over to Jennie and placed a hand on her leg. "Jen, before you get mad, it's not as bad as it seems."
"How is Lisa ignoring you, her girlfriend, not as bad as it seems?" Jennie whispered angrily. "Seulgi is a friend, but you're Lisa's lover. You're meant to be first in line for her attention. No matter who is or isn't around."
"I know Jennie. But it's not like she doesn't love me." She squeezed her leg. "I'm okay. Lisa and I are great at home and I'm sure it's just a spell. She's excited Seulgi shares the same interests as her, that's all."
Jennie bit her lip before standing up.
She quickly stood up after her and reached for her hand. Jennie looking to her with softer eyes again.
"You mean it Chaeyoung? That you're great at home?"
"Yes. She kisses me and does things for me." She smiled and looked to their hands. "Lisa still loves me."
"She better Chae." Jennie leaned forward and gave her a hug. "And you better not just be telling me what I want to hear, but the truth."
"It's the truth." She spoke while backing out of the hug. "Lisa ignores me a little at school, but we're fine. I promise. I'm more worried about Bam than myself."
"Bam?" Jennie asked carefully.
"Yeah, he's being ignored a bit more than me. Because he's left out at school, but even at their dance practice too." She admitted.
"Does Lisa know she's doing this?"
"Judging from things Lisa's done in the past, I'll give a guess and say no."
"You going to tell her she is?" Jennie eyed her.
Chaeyoung debates for a moment before shrugging. "If it keeps up, then yes. I just don't know how long I'll wait..."
"Take my advice and don't wait." Jennie spoke. "Tell her she's being a bitch to Bam and ignoring you and she'll shape up."
"But what if I want her to figure it out? You know? She needs to learn from her actions." She voiced out. "Lisa needs to see what she's doing for herself."
"Lisa's practically blind when it comes to seeing the shit she does." Jennie sighed and reached up putting her hands on her shoulders. "Rosie, take my advice and call her out on it. Okay?"
She looked down to Jennie and took in a breath before nodding. "Okay."
Jen released her shoulders and clapped. "Good. Now let's get these lazy asses moving." Jen slapped her back. "Come on Co-Cap."
She smiled and nodded whole following Jennie to where she was heading to address the team. Secretly happy she decided to share her feelings with the shorter girl.

Towards the end of practice, Coach decided it would be best for all of them to take some time and focus on what they personally needed work on.
For herself, it was her mental state.
Figuring out how she was going to tackle Lisa, and if listening to Jennie would be the best decision right now.
Her apparent thinking must have been noticeable, because not long after starting her wonders, Joy joined her on the mat and began her best attempts at holding the pilates pose she was.
"Damn this is tough." Joy let out exhaustedly. "How can you do this everyday?"
She smiled and shrugged. "Practice... and patience."
Joy smiled back before falling down and sitting on the mat, criss cross. "Nope, not for me."
Chaeyoung chuckled and got down. Sitting across from Joy, mimicking her stature.
"You know, you've been doing really great as Co-Captain." Joy spoke warmly. "Jimin was telling me all about how you helped him feel better."
She smiled and glanced to the single boy on the team who was practicing a walking handstand. "Yeah, he was down these last couple of days. He needed a bit of a pick me up."
"Do you need one too?" Joy questioned. "I only ask because you seemed a bit down over here yourself."
Joy kept her eyes on her while she sat straighter. A little confused at the fact that Jennie and now Joy, had both asked her if she was alright. All in the same practice.
"Is it... that obvious?"
"What? That you're down?"
"Mhm." She hummed.
"Oh, not really in the moment, no." Joy looked away and glanced around before meeting her gaze again.
"I've just, noticed you getting a lot quieter recently. That's all." Joy looked back down. "And so I thought now would be a good time to ask you if you've been down too?"
She smiled and reached a hand out. Placing hers on top of Joy's and squeezing it to get the girl to look back up. "Thanks Soo... it's just, complicated."
She pulled her hand back and took in a breath. "I'm going to be alright though. Everything's going to get better soon."
"Is it something I can help with?" Joy questioned carefully.
"You've already been helping." She admitted. Joy's eyes widening at her statement.
"Really?"
"Mhm." She stood up and Joy followed suit.
The darker haired girl putting a hand on her arm. "Chaeyoung? Just, know that I'll be here for you. Whenever or if ever you want to talk about stuff."
"I know you will." She smiled and took up Joys hand once more. Lifting it off her arm. "Come on, let me teach you some pilates."
"Huh? No! This is cheer! And you already saw me earlier!" Joy pulled her hand away, trying to run away.
"Nooo that was an advanced pose. Let's start with some basics." She got down on the floor and gestured for Joy to join her. "Please, pilates is very beneficial and my favorite way to workout."
"Fine, fine." Joy got down and took in a deep breath. "Only since you asked me to."

(Lisa pov / Strong language / Mature content)
She was currently sipping down the rest of her coffee while waiting at the counter for Chaeyoung's food.
Bobbing her head up and down slightly to the music playing from the single earphone she had in her ear.
Visualizing the dance Seulgi and her had been preparing in her head.
The girl at the counter held up her bag and gave her a smile, prompting her to step up and take it. Lisa accepted it from her and offered a thank you before throwing her now empty cup in the trash and heading out the door to her car.
Unplugging her earphones and putting the aux from her car stereo in its place. Sitting in her seat and thinking more about the track she was listening to.
Something was missing in their dance and she needed to figure it out before they debuted it to their teacher tomorrow.
And she wanted to make sure it was perfect. Not just for Seulgi's grades sake, but for hers.
Because Seulgi was nice enough in letting her take the lead on creating and perfecting the choreo.
Lisa shook her head and buckled up before putting the car in drive and heading towards the school.
Excited to get her mind off things by giving Rosie her bagels. Especially because she always becomes so happy at the sight of food.
She pulled up to her usual spot when picking Chaeng up after practice. Looking at her phone while waiting for the time to change on the clock.
Lisa admits to getting sucked into the recordings she had of her dancing, because when she looked up she could see a downcast Chaeyoung walking towards the car.
She quickly grabbed the bag of food and scrambled out of her car, walking around the back of it and holding the delicious smelling snacks up.
"Hey..." She smiled. Rosie's face breaking out into a smile of her own. "Don't think I forgot about theses."
Lisa went to pass Rosie the bag, but instead both of Chaeng's arms moved around her waist and the Australian snuggled into her.
She smiled and put her free hand around her back and lowered her head to rest beside Rosie's.
"Hi." Chae mumbled into her.
"Hi." She replied, before leaning back and studying Chaeyoung. "You good?"
"Mhm." Rosie hummed. "My bagels right?" The blonde smiled, peeking into the bag in her hands.
"Yes ma'am. Here." She handed the bag over and Roseanne parted the top to better look at its contents. "Mm it smells so good! Thank you baby."
She smiled at the little wiggles Chaeyoung was doing and took the several steps to her car, opening the door for her girl. "No problem babe."
Chaeyoung stepped up to the car and planted a kiss on her lips before dipping her head and getting in.
Lisa felt her cheeks redden as several of Chaeyoung's cheer mates had been watching them. And were now definitely conversing with one another about their relationship.
While closing the door and walking around, another person was looking their way. Yet, it was someone she knew.
Jennie.
She put up her hand to wave, yet Jennie's gaze was strong and it intimidated her a bit. Lisa put her hand down and Jennie simply looked away and got in her car.
She furrowed her brows and got slowly into her own. Starting the engine and buckling up, only to glance back out to where Jennie was pulling away.
"Lis?"
"Hm?" She looked over to Chaeng and saw her curious gaze. Fingers in the bagel bag and slight crumbs near her lips.
Lisa smiled at the sight and whatever Rosie's question was going to be, seemed to not be that important anymore.
She ended up looking away and starting their drive towards the house. While slowly allowing dance to slip back into her mind.

After sharing a late lunch/early dinner with Chae, Lisa had snuck off to the makeshift studio where she was working some more on Seulgi and her moves.
Lisa had decided there were two parts in the routine that were too bland. Too boring, and needed to have additional flavor to spice things up.
So for the past several hours, she'd been trying her best to work on that. Messaging Seulgi throughout to get some input from her, while still working hard in the mirrors to prefect it.
She was breathing heavy and sweat was already dripping off her to the point where she almost wanted to shower, then continue her ideas later.
But, she received another text from Seulgi, saying that she should take a break.
So instead, they agreed that the choreography would just have to do. And if their teacher knew what it was missing, she could let them know tomorrow.
Lisa grabbed her towel and began dabbing off her sweat as she walked through the garage into the house.
Her mom was in the kitchen as she walked in and filled up a glass of water. Gulping it down while discarding her towel in her usual spot by the door.
"Honey?"
"Yes momma?"
She turned and looked to her mom who was walking over and placing a hand on her arm. "How's the dance coming along?"
"Good. I think I've finished it."
"That's good." Her mother smiled before lifting off her hand and looking to her more seriously. "Did something happened today? At school?"
"No?" She questioned confusedly. "Why?"
"Well, Chaeyoung just seems... spaced out. Or something." Her mother frowned. "It might just be me."
"Spaced out?" She asked while looking past her mom. Into the dining and living room where Chaeyoung couldn't be seen. "Where is she?"
"Upstairs. Last I saw, she was looking out your bedroom window."
"I'll go check on her." She smiled and squeezed her moms hand before making her way past her and up the stairs towards Chaeng.
Spaced out huh? She thought while reaching the top of the stairs. Remembering Chaeyoung's down expression when walking to her car earlier.
Even the expression made when she arrived late to meet her.
Lisa peeked around the corner, into their bedroom, and saw Chaeyoung was still seated in the chair by the window.
She walked in quietly, noticing Chaeyoung had headphones in while her hair was pulled over to one side.
Lisa shut the door softly and began making her way closer.
Peering over Chaeyoung's shoulder to the phone that was in her hand. Staring questionably at the YouTube video her girlfriend was apparently listening to.
There was a person behind a microphone that had, ears... on it? And they were moving from ear to ear while- Wait. What the heck?
"What are you watching?" She spoke out.
Chaeyoung jerked and looked up to her in surprise. Her cheeks blushing as she looked down to the video.
"It's asmr." Rosie whispered while locking her phone screen and getting out of the chair. Moving past her and over to the bed.
Placing her phone on the nightstand and sitting down on the mattress. Lisa following and sitting in front of Chae. Looking at her.
"What's asmr?"
"It stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response." Chaeyoung looked down to her feet while pulling her knees up to her chest. "Jennie introduced me to it."
"Okay? And what's the point of it?" She was being a bit harsh, but Lisa was fairly upset after seeing what was happening on that phone screen. "Sorry, I just... you know what it looked like babe..."
"I know. It's weird... but it's relaxing. Jennie said it helps her and so I tried it a few weeks ago and I liked it."
"Relaxing? Are you stressed?" She questioned while running a hand over Chaeyoung's cheek.
"Just thinking a lot about things." Rosie looked to her and smiled sadly before leaning into her hand.
She took in a few breaths before thinking back to the video and feeling herself getting worked up again. "I'm sorry baby." She whispered. "It was me right? Today?"
"Hm?"
"I was late to meet you. And I wasn't waiting for you beside my car until the last minute. I got distracted... I'm sorry."
"Oh, it's okay." Chaeyoung put a hand on her leg. "It wasn't that."
"Okay... well... did listening to that, um... stuff, help?"
"Yeah. It helped a bit."
She nodded her head before asking the question that was most important on her mind.
"You know, I thought you didn't like it whenever I'm around your ears?" She questioned and ran a hand through her still sweaty mane.
"Why are you fine with that person? Like, they were kissing your ears?" She sighed. "I do that, yet you tell me to stop."
"It's... different." Chaeyoung loosened her legs and sat criss cross instead. "This is for the sounds. And yours..."
"Are clearly not good enough."
"No baby, that's not what I meant."
Chaeyoung and her stared at one another while she debated on what to say next. Still feeling rather jealous that Rosie would let someone else, even though in virtual form, do that to her.
Rosie's eyes slowly glanced down to where Lisa could only assume was her abs. "It's just different... when feeling them physically." Chaeyoung whispered while running a finger along her sweat glistening skin.
Lisa bit her bottom lip before moving forward.
Placing her hands on Rosie's legs. Spreading them so she could lay between as she pulled Chaeng down, lower in the bed. And settled down on top of her.
"You're not allowed to watch things like that anymore." She spoke, not caring about the jealousy that clearly sounded in her voice.
Chaeyoung was watching these kinds of videos to 'relax'? When all the Australian would have to do is call her?
Not on her watch.
