(Lisa pov)

Jennie and her were sitting across from one another in the booth. Watching the two girls laughing together and singing with one another on stage.

After dinner, it took a lot of encouragement and convincing, but they were finally able to get Rosie up on stage.

Maybe it was easier for the Australian because of her newly found revelation, or the fact the venue was still fairly empty, but Chaeng was finally letting loose in public.

And she loved it.

Every aspect of the fact that she was watching her girlfriend sing publicly and not being hidden away in privacy.

Even though she still loved their privacy.

She let her eyes drift from Chaeng to the window that bore a view only getting darker by each passing minute. Lisa sighed and looked to her phone, checking the time.

It was getting late, and as happy as she was having Rosie breaking past these last few barriers, that were thrown up after the accident, Chaeyoung wouldn't like leaving karaoke in the dark.

Lisa knew she shouldn't take a chance on that.

"Jen, I think Rosie and I should be heading back soon." She spoke softly to the Captain. "Chaeng still doesn't like being in the car at night."

Jennie smiled sadly but nodded in understanding. "I wouldn't have expected her to. I don't think I'd ever be able to get through what she did."

"Yeah, she's a lot stronger than most of us."

"All of us." Jennie replied. "She's stronger than all of us."

She smiled and slid out of the seat. Giving Jennie a hug and thank you, for agreeing on bringing Jisoo and helping Chaeyoung, before making her way over to the stage.

Standing in front of a laughing Chaeyoung who just finished a song with Chu.

"Baby..." Lisa spoke warmly as Rosie met her gaze.

She put her arms out for Chaeyoung to use when climbing down, but instead, Rosie yanked her up.

"Wait! Baby..." She laughed as Chaeyoung smiled adorably, pulling her in close.

"Lisa." Chaeyoung whispers while brushing her lips against hers. "Sing with me."

"Chaeng... I was going to say we should probably get going..."

"Please Lis." Rosie pouted.

Lisa looked to her plump lips and felt herself giving in to them. Sighing as her sober yet still extremely playful girlfriend brought their lips close again.

She caved in and pecked them while Jisoo placed her mic into her hand, before getting off the stage and entering Jennie's arms.

"Chaeyoung, you know I love you. But I can't sing."

"Seriously Lisa? I've heard you sing." Rosie replied while going over to the tablet situated on top of the machine. Looking through songs. "Baby, bring your soothing voice over here."

She rolled her eyes and walked over to Chaeyoung. Back hugging her as the Australian went through their possible duet tracks.

"Soothing voice..." She mumbled into her girlfriends neck. "Yeah right."

"Lis, I mean it." Chaeyoung squeezed one of the arms Lisa had around her. "It's really nice."

She smiled and glanced out the window again, watching the sun beginning to set in the distance.

"I love you." Rosie spoke, bringing her attention back to the woman in her arms. "You know that right?"

Her vision blurred as her smile brightened. Her cheeks rising up high while she nodded. "I know... and I love you too."

"Do you know what love stands for?"

"Hm?" She hummed confusedly. "What it stands for?"

"Mhm..." Chaeng grinned before Lisa heard the sound of music starting. "Do you?"

She knew this song, she just couldn't name it off the top of her head. It was sung in English, and she didn't know if she remembered all the lyrics.

Rosie tapped on the screen in front of her. Lisa peeking at it. Noticing lyrics being displayed on the screen.

Suddenly, Rosie brought her mic to her lips.

"L is for the way you look at me." O is for the only one I see. V is very, very extraordinary. E is even more than anyone that you adore can."

Chaeyoung winked to her and she brought the mic up to her mouth. Taking in a breath.

"Love is all that I can give to you. Love is more than just a game for two." She smiled to her.

"Two in love can make it, take my heart and please don't break it. Love was made for me and you." Rosie sang while hugging her with her free hand.

Lisa laughed and slid to the side while the music was playing. Spinning and reaching a hand out for Chae, who took it and smiled immediately.

She put out a foot and Rosie copied her. Doing quick, but easy to follow footwork that Chaeyoung mimicked, near perfectly.

The music guiding her moves.

"Spin out on three." She whispered and Chae nodded while biting her lip.

Lisa counted to three as the trumpets played and spun out in a circle. Rosie spinning too and Jensoo whistling wildly from in front of them.

She then went to rejoin Rosie, reaching for her hands and holding them as best she could with the mics in each of theirs. Dancing with her with a bright smile on her face.

Rosie makes me sing? I make her dance.

Lisa then spun Chaeyoung before awaiting the instrumental part of the song to end. Looking at the lyrics again real quick before singing.

Making an L shape with her hand and moving her leg in dance. "L is for the way you look at me. O is for the only one I see. V is very, very extraordinary. E is even more than anyone that you adore can."

"Love is all that I can give to you." Roseanne pointed to her.

She blushed and pointed back at Rosie. "Love is more than just a game for two."

"Two in love can make it, take my heart and please don't break it."

"Love was made for me and you." They sang together.

"Yeah love was made for me and you." They pointed to one another again. As if on cue. Lisa laughed and rushed to Rosie knowing the song was over.

Kissing her lips on stage as the music ended.

Gentle claps could be heard as they parted and Jensoo was of course, the leader in the cheers. But several other people whom were seated at the bar were clapping too.

Along with the bar tender behind it.

"Thank you." Rosie spoke warmly while hugging her.

She smiled and rested her hands on Rosie's waist while looking down towards Jennie and Jisoo.

Noticing a phone being held horizontally in Jennie's hand as she spoke with Jisoo.

Weird she'd be holding it that way...

"What time is it?" Chaeyoung questioned while backing out of their embrace.

Her eyes widened a bit as she looked over her shoulder to the much darker atmosphere outside. Only a sliver of sunlight left on the roads.

"Late." She spoke while turning back to Rosie. "Let's head home babe."

"Okay baby."

Lisa removed her hands from Chaeng's waist and laced her hand with one of Chae's as her girlfriend lead them down the stairs of the small stage.

Going over to Jisoo and Jennie who were happily awaiting them.

Chaeyoung gave Jennie a hug while she leaned down and hugged Jisoo.

Telling her thank you and waiting for Rosie to finish up on hugging Jen. So she could hug Jisoo goodbye as well.

She waved to Jennie whom she said a second goodbye to and walked with Chaeyoung once she was done, heading towards the doors.

Hearing some good remarks by others on their performance while they walked out.

Once outside, Chaeyoung tugged on her hand and brought her into another hug whilst they stood in front of her car.

She caressed her hair and kissed Chaeng's forehead. Taking in her scent as she watched the sun finally disappear.

Rosie snuggled into her shoulder and she smiled.

"You okay?"

"Yeah." Chaeng replied softly before turning her head and kissing her cheek.

"What was that for?" She questioned while Chaeyoung released her arms and held onto her hands instead.

"Nothing... I'm just really happy."

"Happy?"

"Yeah. Weird right?"

She laughed and shook her head. "No, it's not weird at all. My baby should always be happy."

"Well, I am right now."

"Was it from the karaoke?"

Chaeyoung pondered for a moment. "A good amount of it, yes. I actually really liked singing with Jisoo." Chae admitted. "And you of course."

She smiled.

"But, I also just think coming to terms with... well, with everything, is the main cause of it." Chaeyoung closed her eyes, tilted her head back, and took in a breath. "I feel free."

Lisa felt an unknown weight being lifted off her shoulders. Something she didn't even know was there until it was lifted off her by some higher power.

It was like all the stars were aligning in her eyes. Like this was that moment.

The moment.

Where everything fell right into place.

She released one of Chaeyoung's hands and went to caress her cheek, but the Australian opened her eyes before she could.

Roseanne's eyes widening immediately.

"Holy shit it's dark."

~

(Chae pov)

The morning light had shown through their bedroom window from the rising sun. Causing her to stir awake like it does most mornings.

She gently removed Lisa's arm from around her waist and lifted herself from the bed. Walking into the bathroom to relieve herself and stretching her arms while she did.

When she finished her stretch, her eyes rested on one of the bathroom drawers. Making her bite her lip in thought as she cleaned herself and flushed.

Washing her hands at the sink, before drying them and pulling out the drawer. It's contents shimmering under the bathroom light.

Roseanne walked back out into the bedroom and grabbed her phone. Checking the date on the screen and nodding her head in acknowledgment of how fast the time had passed.

She sat her phone back down and returned to the bathroom. Opening the drawer and pulling out the several items.

Holding them in her hand as she walked over to the chair near the window and took a seat criss cross in it. Twisting the blinds open a little bit more so she could stare out, but still not wake the sleeping beauty in the room.

She looked at the morning joggers on their street, wondering if she should become one of them herself, before she grabbed the lace she had carried and gently tied off her arm.

Uncapping and testing the needle, before finding a vein and inserting it in. She slowly pushed the medicine into her bloodstream, and continued looking out the window at the passerby's and birds.

It was the first Sunday of the new month.

The one day in the first week where she had to take her injection.

It was just enough to help her body breathe, but not too much where she wasn't left feeling anxious and a little sick sometimes.

But her doctor had said she'd been doing good on cutting back, and to reach what she was hoping was being completely clean from medicinal drugs, she needed to go longer periods without them.

So, she takes an injection once, on the first Sunday of every month.

Chaeyoung withdrew the needle and capped it closed. Untying the lace and grabbing her water from the night stand behind her.

Putting two pills in her hand and drinking them down, before drinking a little bit more for the sake of staying hydrated.

She still takes her pills every two weeks, since they help her more with her ptsd and sadness than the addictiveness left in her mind and blood.

Chaeyoung didn't really mind needing to take them more often though, since she still has episodes every now and then.

But she's doing better. A lot better.

It had been several months since she had became a cheerleader. And she'd been trying her hardest in music and life ever since.

Lisa and their lives together beginning to feel so calm. Domestic. And she didn't dislike it at all. In fact, she actually loved it.

It reminded her of how much she'd like to start a family with her.

Having a little human of their own.

A light snore from beside her brought her from her thoughts. She turned and sat her water down, lifting herself up from the seat and leaning over Lisa's face.

She smiled and kept her pills and needle close to her body, as she leaned down and softly kissed Lisa's lips.

Soft enough where Lisa wouldn't wake, but enough that she could taste and feel her.

Then, she slowly released their kiss and stole a peek at her girlfriend's naked chest, before she made her way back into the bathroom.

Putting her things where they belonged. Hidden away, down into the drawer. Closing it with a smile on her face.

It was funny, that even though Lisa was still asleep, she never ceased to kiss her back. Call it a reflex.

She brushed her teeth and hair before walking past her girlfriend whom finds herself unable to not sleep in. Whereas she was still very much a morning person, even if she didn't want to be.

Chaeyoung quietly exited the room and walked down the steps into the kitchen. She'd have to eat something rather quickly so her stomach wouldn't hurt from the pills she just took.

She opened the pantry and found a snack to feast on while preparing the households breakfast.

They needed to have a big meal since they were planning on seeing Siwon later. Well, not only seeing him, but staying the night.

She was cracking the eggs on the side of the pan when Marco came downstairs. He smiled and went over to her. Throwing an arm around her shoulders and kissing her forehead.

"Making breakfast I see." He spoke in English while brewing himself coffee. "Want some?"

"Yes please, just not as strong."

"Couple sugars and creamer, got it." He winked.

She chuckled and began frying the eggs while Marco finished preparing their coffees.

Chaeyoung finished her snack in time to begin sipping on the freshly brewed drink instead as Marco and her chatted.

The chef of the house ultimately giving her a hand in finishing the rest of their breakfast.

She had just putting the finishing touches on the strawberry pancakes when two arms found their way around her waist.

She chuckled as Lisa began kissing her neck. Mumbling a morning into her skin.

"Morning babe." She replied while turning to face Lisa. "You know your fathers right there?"

Marco waved to them and continued plating the food while Lisa shrugged. "So? Nothing new."

She rolled her eyes.

"Everything smells great." Lisa spoke while leaning in. About to kiss her lips when the Thai suddenly pulled back. "Except for your coffee breath. Bleh."

She smacked Lisa's shoulder and her girlfriend took off. Running up the stairs.

"Where are you going huh?!" She shouted. Marco laughing from beside her.

"To wake up momma!" Lisa shouted back from upstairs.

~

(Lisa pov)

She was smiling like a big idiot on the couch as her Mom and Marco put things away in the kitchen.

Chaeyoung had retreated upstairs to get ready as Lisa already had after getting up this morning. Granted, she's quicker to as Chaeng likes to wear light makeup, but not as light as her.

Lisa continued scrolling through photos on her phone. Smiling at the many pictures she had taken of Chaeyoung over the past few months.

Or ones she had of them both with either Jensoo or even Siwon.

She then came across the first photo she had ever taken of Chaeyoung in her cheerleading uniform.

That small, form fitting uniform that for some reason, school didn't find breaking dress code.

She then swiped to the next photo and smirked. Eyeing Rosie up and down before closing her eyes.

"Let me see."

"Huh?"

"Let me see." She smiled and pressed up against Chaeyoungs body. Holding her waist in her hands. "Turn around."

Chaeyoung rolled her eyes and turned slowly around in her arms.

Lisa's eyes following down her back, to the roundness of her rear that was being hugged tight by the cheer skirt.

She bit her lips and let her finger tips glide down Roseanne's sides, resting it on her hips before a hand went down and squeeze a cheek.

"Ah!" Chaeyoung gasped before turning around again. Wiggling a finger 'no'. "Bad Lisa..."

"Whaaat? You're so sexy." She took several steps back and leaned on the edge of the bed.

Rosie grinned and began unbuttoning her top. Slowly. "Think I've tried this on long enough?"

"The top yeah. The skirt no." She winked.

Her girlfriend blushed before revealing cleavage and taking out her high pony tell. Rustling her hair and reaching for the hem of the cheer top.

Beginning to pull it off.

"Wait! Let me take a picture." She interrupted Chaeyoung's undressing.

Pulling her phone back out and snapping a pic of a messy haired, cleavage showing, toned stomached Roseanne.

"Thought you already took a photo?" Chaeng questioned.

"Yeah, I took one to post. Now, I have one to look at when I feel... needy."

Chaeyoung smirked. "You feeling a little needy right now?"

"Mhm." She licked her lips before lifting off her top and pushing off the bed. Going to her girlfriend who welcomed her and her tongue with open arms.

"What's that?" A questioning voice brought her out of her thoughts.

"Oh my god!" She hid her phone screen from her mother's prying eyes. "Momma! You scared me..."

"Why are you hiding that photo from me?" Ami grinned with raised brows. "You're forgetting I've seen Chaeyoung tople-"

"Don't... remind me." She responded bluntly with red cheeks and a furrowed brow.

A curious Chaeyoung walking down the stairs and eyeing them.

Her mother laughing under breath as she walked back into the kitchen to help her stepdad.

"What was that about?" Rosie questioned while walking over and sitting beside her. "Why'd your mom laugh at you?"

"No reason." She smiled toothlessly and put an arm around Chaeyoung. Kissing her temple.

Rosie snuggled into her side while she brought her phone back up. Holding it towards her and unlocking the screen.

"Wait, Lisa!" Chaeyoung whisper yelled. Suddenly pointing to the picture that was resurfaced on her phone. "She didn't see that did she?!"

"Haha... um, no?"

"Oh my goood." Rosie put a hand on her thigh and laughed. "I hate you."

"Hey, it's not like I showed her okay! She just walked over while I happened to be too busy to notice."

"Oh yeah? Too busy with what?" Chaeyoung sat up and looked at her, brow arched. "Looking at that?"

"Well..." She smirked. "Thinking about that. And what happened after touching 'that'..."

Rosie's jaw slacked as she stared at her. Before biting her lip and crawling across her. Straddling her lap and holding her hands to her face.

She smiled and put her hands on Chaeng's waist as the Aussie's thumbs rubbed her cheeks.

"You know my parents are right over there?" She questioned softly as Chaeyoung leaned down.

"I don't care..." Her girlfriend whispered with a bright smile on her face. Kissing her lips tenderly as Lisa's hands began to unconsciously explore Rosie's back.

Their tender kiss slowly becoming more than just a kiss as they slipped their tongues quietly inside one another's mouths.

Lisa gliding her hands down Chaeyoung's back, to her hips then butt, squeezing it and earning a soft moan from her girlfriend.

She soon after heard a 'patting' sound and sudden gasp from the kitchen.

"Hey! What'd we say about making out in front of us adults?!" Marco yelled in English. With a chuckle luckily ending his sentence.

"Oh crap!" She exclaimed after quickly parting from Rosie's lips. Looking over her shoulder towards her parents who were watching them from the kitchen. "There's adults here?! Where?!"

Her mother laughed at her joke and called her an idiot it Thai while her stepdad only shook his head and sighed.

She looked back to Chaeyoung and watched as her girlfriend leaned back down and kissed her lips softly.

Lisa trying her best to stay in the kiss, but nevertheless, Rosie crawled off her lap anyways.

And sat beside her once more.

"She called you an idiot, right?" Chaeng questioned while pulling out her phone.

"Yes, she did." Lisa chuckled, before a sudden fact sprung to her mind. "Oh my god!" She exclaimed. "You understood her!"

Chaeyoung looked at her with a curious gaze before smiling sincerely. "I... I guess I did?"

She jumped up and did a little victory dance in front of Rosie. Chaeng laughing and cheering her on as her mom began clapping from within the kitchen.

After a minute, the cheers died down and so did her moves, but it didn't stop her from doing cheeky wiggles.

As she was still so excited by the fact that Chaeyoung was learning Thai, just by being around them.

And the fact she was actually trying to learn. For her.

"Baby..." Rosie spoke, reaching out her hands.

Lisa pushed her long and messy hair out of her face before reaching her hands down and taking up Rosie's. "Yes my princess?"

Chae smiled sheepishly before meeting her gaze. "What time do you want to head over to Siwon's house?"

"Hmm... he said anytime right?"

"Yes he did."

"It's not even one yet... maybe we should wait until a little later. Since we're staying the night."

"Okay babe. Any ideas on what we should do in the mean time then?"

She shook her head and her hair fell back down. Blocking her view of Rosie.

She chuckled quietly and let go of Chaeyoung's hands, pushing the hair away from her face once more. Slightly irritated.

"Ugh, how do you do it huh?"

"Do what?" Chae questioned curiously.

"Keep your hair so long? I swear, I'm reaching my breaking point with these locks. Long hair always tangles and gets in the way. I can't even see when I'm dancing anymore."

"That's why you tie it up when you're dancing babe." Chaeng laughed.

"But the hair tie hurts overtime." She whined. "But besides the point, answer my question please."

"I don't know Lis. I just like long hair and I'm used to it getting in the way I guess? Maybe my hair actually keeps out of my face on its own?"

She huffed.

"I'm also great at subtle and not so subtle hair flips." Rosie winked.

"I hate you."

"You love me."

"Maybe." She confessed while looking down. Her freshly finger combed hair falling back down again. "That's it! I'm cutting it off! 2007 Britney Spears who? It's Lisa bish!"

She stormed up the stairs towards her bathroom with Chaeyoung quickly taking off after her. Holding onto her arm and halting her.

"Wait Lisa! Oh my god, don't cut off your hair!"

"Why nooot." She whined and kicked her feet around while being stopped on top of the stairs.

"You could hurt yourself."

She rolled her eyes. "I've used scissors before."

"I know... but-"

"Do you think I'll look ugly?" She asked, playing the victim card. "Britney honestly looked fine bald. Why can't I?"

Chaeyoung held back an apparent laugh while cupping her cheek. "One, you were going to cut your hair, not shave your head. That much we know. But two, I was going to make a suggestion instead."

"What kind of suggestion?"

"How about, instead of you cutting your hair here and dirtying up the bathroom sink that I know you'll make me clean..." Rosie chuckled. "Let's go get your hair done at the salon?"

She thought on the suggestion, realizing it actually was a good time killer for their day. "I guess that's a good idea? I could dye my hair too. I've been meaning too. Since I've been dying it different shades of blonde for too long already."

"Exactly." Chaeng smiled. "Let's call some places and see who can get you in."

Lisa smiled and went to take out her phone, but began to wonder as she did.

"Chaeyoung? There wouldn't happen to be another reason why you want me to go to a salon and not do it myself, would there?"

Rosie simply shrugged while walking into their bedroom. "Could touch up my blonde again while we're there too?"

She dropped her jaw at the newly discovered revelation. "I see. So this was always about you!" She called after Chaeng.

"Nuh uh!" A yell replied back.

Lisa should have known.

~

(Chae pov)

She was currently waiting for the blonde dye to set into her roots while watching Lisa's hair getting colored.

Large amounts of dirty blonde hair scattered around her girlfriend's feet. Blowing lightly on the ground every time Lisa's chair was swiveled by the hair stylist.

She'd admit to being a little nervous on seeing what Lisa's hair would look like, given she's only ever known Lisa as some form of blonde.

But from the past photos she's seen and just knowing Lisa's natural beauty in general, she knew Lis would slay any color or haircut given.

And she'd love her just as much either way.

She quickly lifted her phone and stole a couple pics of Lis when the Thai was smiling while making pleasant conversation with the hairdresser.

Another stylist coming up to her and telling her it was time to take her color out and wash.

Her agreeing and getting up, heading over to the sink and chatting with the lady who had retouched her hair for her.

"Would you want to get a trim too?" Her stylist questioned while washing the final bit of shampoo out. "Your hair seems healthy enough, given its length, but it still is always recommended."

"Yeah we can." She smiled. "Thank you."

"Of course." The woman replied while wrapping her hair in a towel. "Let's head back over to the chair so we can get you dry and trimmed."

She got up and returned to her seat to find Lisa waiting for her color to finish setting. It was going to take a lot longer for the Thai seeing how much more she got done, and still needed to get done.

"Hi baby." Lis welcomed her back while she sat down and got her hair unwrapped.

"Ah, so you two are a couple." Her stylist spoke. "I was nervous to ask."

"Yeah, we are." She replied while smiling at the feeling of her long hair getting brushed. Wishing Lisa would secretly brush hers more for her.

When she opened her eyes, Lisa was watching her. And it made her think maybe Lis was reading her mind?

Hopefully.

They spoke more together while her hair got dried. Certain other parts of her hair had also been touched up.

Only since the blonde last used was the box dye and a previous root touching.

Lisa was hauled away from them after twenty minutes to get her hair washed thoroughly and dried. Before another trim to make sure the hair length was where her girlfriend wanted it.

But Lis never ceased to keep questioning her on what looked good, what she liked, or what she thought didn't fit.

Yet Lisa looked gorgeous either way.

"Okay..." Lisa's hairstylist spoke. "What do we think? We love it?"

Lisa was eyeing herself in the mirror before bursting into a childlike smile. "I love it! Thank you! You love it too right Chaeng? Because I love it!"

The hairstylist seemed pleased and looked back to see and hear her opinion too.

Lisa standing up and turning to face her. The freshly trimmed, shoulder length hair swirling in the wind, but not getting into Lisa's face afterwards.

Her newly trimmed bangs laid practically glued to her girls forehead. From being shaped so well.

The ash grey hair color shimmering under the bright salon lights.

An unknown smile made her way onto her face as she continued scanning over all of Lisa's features.

Lisa, in turn, smiling back in realization that her quiet observations, were positive observations.

She finally collected herself and stood up. Reaching for Lisa's hand and lacing theirs together. "You look beautiful." She whispered. "You're really just too pretty."

Lisa squeezed her hand and thanked her hairdresser again, before they both went up front to pay.
