(Chae pov)

Ami was fixing her hair as they stood together outside of the courtroom.

She was wearing a dress that Ami had bought her. Along with a flower clip Ami had placed in her hair.

Saying it made her look adorable, and that people would fall in love her. Just not as much as Lisa.

Lisa, who was also wearing a dress, to her disappointment.

The Thai has worn dresses before of course, but she definitely preferred to wear a nice pair of jeans, sweats if she could, or literally anything else besides skirts and dresses.

And Chaeyoung couldn't deny it, she was the same way. But she also knew how nice dresses could make you look.

And since Ami had asked her and Lisa to, for court, of course they still agreed.

Thinking about her made her glance over to Lis.

Noticing that her, Marco, and Siwon, were still talking to their prosecuting attorney while Ami finished up on her hair, then proceeded to give her a hug.

"You're going to do great."

"Thanks." She whispered while holding onto Ami and trying her best to let the hug take her worries away.

For the past couple of days, Lisa had been trying to take her worries away too. And she, in return, tried to take Lisa's.

It had worked for the most part, granted Lisa got rid of her own by changing her worries into despise for the man that tried to rape her.

As Lisa was still adamant on putting him away.

And it only helped her to know how much Lis truly loved her. And how much she loved Lisa back.

There was a tap on her shoulder and she expected it to be Lis, but when she turned she was greeted by two women joined at the hip.

"Hey Hubby." Jennie smiled warmly.

"Jen? Jisoo? You guys came?"

"Sure looks like it doesn't it?" Jennie chuckled and tightened her hold on Jisoo's waist.

"Sorry it's just us." Jisoo spoke. "Bam wanted to come but he wasn't allowed to skip school. Same with Yeri and Seul."

"Seulgi?" She questioned curiously.

They hadn't even known Seulgi for over a week. Yet, she wanted to come too? I mean, she was nice. And Lisa did really seem to be getting along with her.

"Yeah, she said she wanted to support you guys with Yeri. I heard something about Wendy too, but it sounded like she already knew she couldn't."

"Who couldn't and what could they not do?" Lisa spoke with a smile while approaching them.

"Wendy, with not being able to come and watch. Same with Yeri, Seulgi, and Bam." Jen replied while giving Lisa a quick hug.

Lisa spoke her hi to them both before looking a bit confused herself. "They all wanted to watch?"

"To support." Jisoo smiled. "I think the whole table did."

Lisa and her looked to each other, meeting eyes, before the door to the courtroom opened and a guard held it aside.

Motioning for them to enter.

"Prosecution's first in, you may decide which side you'd like to sit." He spoke.

"My advice," The guard began as they began passing nervously by. "Sit closest to the jury. They'll get to see you better, and it can help make them feel more close to you when hearing your case."

She mustered a smile and bowed her head as Ami thanked him and spoke that they'd do just that.

Lisa soon stepped up beside her and held her hand as they walked past some onlookers who were watching their case from the seats.

She recognized some faces. Most were from school. But others were certain nurses Ami worked with from the hospital, seated along side them.

Chaeyoung then found the deciders of the trial.

The Jury was already seated and watching them quietly as they took their seats on the right side of the court.

Their eyes weren't mean, probably considering most were mailed to come in without any information on the case they'd be watching.

But she could tell some weren't looking at Lisa or her, but at their clasped hands instead.

And the closeness of their shoulders when they sat.

"Chae?" She looked to Lisa who was smiling at her warmly. "It's okay. Don't overthink it."

She nodded and rested her head on Lisa's shoulder, before hearing the sound of one of the main doors opening again.

Followed by the echoing of foot steps towards them.

They were ominous, and she could feel Lisa's hand tightening its grip on hers.

She didn't want to look, but she knew she'd have to.

So, Chaeyoung looked to her left at the man being escorted down the center of the room in handcuffs.

Her stomach turning at the sight of the man who was last seen carelessly punching, then smashing a mirror over her girlfriend's head.

But she noticed the Detective that they had met before, Detective Baek, as one of the men walking him down.

Her old boss was then seated on the left, a defense attorney seated beside him, while Detective Baek left and walked over to their side instead.

Leaving the man that was piercing Lisa and her with his eyes alone, with his fellow law enforcement around him.

"Nice to see you again Marco, Ami." Detective Baek shook their hands. "Chaeyoung, Lisa, I hope you're both doing well?"

"We're alright." Lisa answered after pulling her eyes off the man across from them. "Still healing, but we're okay."

Detective Baek smiled before shaking Siwons hand. "Mr. Choi. It's good to see you too. Thank you for coming."

"Of course." Siwon returned his smile. "There's no way I'd let the girls go through this without me." He assured him.

Detective Baek liked this and released Siwons hand with a chuckled. "Of course not." He grinned while turning to their lawyer. "I see you've all met Ms. Kim Hyo-yeon, our beloved prosecuting attorney."

"Beloved by those I don't put away." She chuckled while giving him a smile. "Girls, I stand as the prosecution for almost all of the hearings Chief Jung and her precinct decide to hold."

"And there's a reason for that. It's because I don't loose." Ms. Kim stated. "Also, my father is a sergeant whose taught me very well how criminals will try to weasel their way out of everything."

Lisa squeezed her hand in reassurance and they both bowed to her. "Thank you again Ms. Kim." Lis spoke warmly. "I'm glad we have you on our side."

"Of course Lisa. Don't worry. As I told you earlier, Chaeyoung is in great hands. I'll see that this is settled painlessly... for her."

Ms. Kim then looked over her shoulder to the defense and eyed her old boss up and down. "No one attempts to rape a seventeen year old and gets away with it. Especially not after assaulting her and her girlfriend too."

She was about to say thank you herself, when a voice interrupted her by echoing throughout the courtroom.

"All rise, for the honorable Judge Cho."

Everyone stood from their seats and watched as a shorter man entered the courtroom. Making his way down the rows of onlookers in a calm and collected manner.

He seemed determined, but not rushed to get to his seat at the front. She could only assume he had done this many times before.

When he did reach his seat, he gave a brief nod to both sides of the court before releasing a breath. "You may be seated." He spoke while sitting down himself.

Everyone else following suit.

"Alright, as you all heard, I'm Mr. Cho and I'll be your Judge this afternoon." He pushed his glasses higher on the bridge of his nose while looking at some paperwork in his hands.

Him fixing his glasses made her want to fix hers too.

"Is the Jury ready?" He questioned, looking over to the group of people to his left.

"Yes your honor." One spoke.

"Good, then let's begin." He put the papers down. "I'd just like to reiterate that this is a Criminal Case, not a Civil Case. Therefore the defendant is not trying to prove his innocence, but the prosecution is trying to prove his guilt. Bring forward any evidence that you must as long as it's within the legal limits."

She looked over to their attorney and watched Ms. Kim's face grow serious. Her eyes squinting a bit as she looked to her pile of paperwork and nodded.

So, they were only trying to prove his guilt? Was her old boss not going to be allowed to defend himself? Then what was his attorney for?

"Now," Judge Cho began. "Whom is representing the prosecution?"

"I am. Ms. Kim, your honor." Ms. Kim arose from her seat and looked to the Jury. Giving the people a small hello, before she then looked back with a slight bow.

"And what charges do you bring forth?"

"We, the prosecution, look to charge Yang Hyun-suk with two accounts of first degree assault and one account of attempted rape."

Lisa pulled her in close to her side by the waist and tried to help steady her.

Since her leg was already bouncing and fingers trying hard to fiddle amongst themselves.

She glanced to Lisa and smiled nervously. The Thai simply whispered that it would be okay, and not to worry. Before returning her attention to the judge.

"Fair, which account will you be presenting first?" Judge Cho questioned.

"The indisputable your honor." Ms. Kim began. "The two accounts of first degree assault."

"Very well." He tilted his head and folded his arms. "You may proceed."

She gulped and looked to Ms. Kim, whom must have sensed her eyes, since she glanced to her. Giving her a brief smile.

Which, Roseanne did feel herself being slightly relieved and comforted by.

"I would like to start off by saying hello once again to the jury." Ms. Kim spoke while walking out in front of the collection of jurors. "I know most of you have busy lives, so thank you for coming."

"Now, you may have heard me use the term indisputable earlier." She talked with her hands, speaking with the Jury. "I used this term because it can be one hundred percent applied to this situation."

"You see those two girls over there? Chaeyoung and Lisa? Well, they just turned eighteen, in international age." Ms. Kim clarified. "And they happened to need some gas one day. So they stopped by a station not far from a camp where Mr. Yang, the defendant, was the owner of."

"I say 'was the owner of' as he probably won't be for much longer." She glared to him. "You see, Mr. Yang knew Chaeyoung and Lisa already. They had a fairly sizable altercation beforehand, which I will fully disclose with you all in the future."

"But for the sake of these accounts, all you need to know is, Mr. Yang had employed Chaeyoung to work for him. Everyday. Without pay. Starting at the young age of fifteen. So she could simply have the ability to stay on the campgrounds. In a ran down trailer that was left behind as junk, to avoid being completely homeless."

"Now, since Chaeyoung was being worked to the bone everyday on top of her school work and the weight of being alone and struggling, it was only a matter of time until she'd try to get away to a safer and better place. That place, her now girlfriend Lisa's home." Ms. Kim smiled to them.

"We could only assume Mr. Yang became upset, due to the fact he'd be having to find a replacement for her in such short time. Or maybe, it was the fact he'd actually have to pay someone next time." She crossed her arms and looked to her old boss.

"We could only judge this from the fact that when he ran into them at the gas station, he assaulted them both on sight."

"Objection your honor!" Her ex bosses defending attorney stood up.

"Objection on what grounds?" The judge questioned.

"Falsifying evidence."

"How so?" Ms. Kim stood tall. "I'm explaining to the jury what presumably went through Mr. Yang's mind and why." She shook her head. "This is my opening statement Judge. I haven't even showed the evidence yet."

"You're falsifying it by deliberately ignoring a major piece of evidence." The attorney scoffed while Ms. Kim was reasoning.

"Hurry up and tell me what evidence so I may decide." The judge rushed. "I don't have all day."

Lisa and her shared a glance.

"The altercation that took place leading up to the release of Chaeyoung and the gas station mix up. The assault in which Lisa committed firstly, upon Mr. Yang. Ignoring it is detrimental against him. Therefore falsifying."

The judge looked at him plainly before looking back to Ms. Kim.

"That's information I'll be disclosing fully in the future." She restated once again.

Judge Cho looked semi pleased and waved off the other attorney. "Overruled. Proceed Ms. Kim."

The attorney and her old boss looked at one another before staring towards their side.

She could sense that Jisoo and Jennie were staring at her old boss. But, she instead looked to Lisa and studied her side profile.

Lisa looked pleased as she looked away from her old boss to Ms. Kim, then to her, after feeling her eyes on her.

"This is good." Lisa smiled. "Really good."

"Okay." She she replied while leaning against her side.

It's going well. It's going to be okay.

"Now, Mr. Yang being upset about the loss of someone who did everything for him while he did nothing, might not be the only reason why he assaulted Lisa and Chaeyoung. And I'll talk you all through that second reason, after I go over the evidence of the gas station assaults."

Ms. Kim turned around and looked seemingly behind them, before spotting what she was looking for and turning to the Judge. "I'd like to call a witness forth to testify."

The Judge nodded and Ms. Kim smiled. "I'd like to call Mr. Gwon to the front."

She looked nervously around and found a short man in nice pair of jeans and plaid shirt standing, making his way forward to the person presenting him a Bible.

Mr. Gwon repeating words of sworn oath before passing by Ms. Kim in smile and sitting down in the seat on the judges left.

"They you again for coming Mr. Gwon. How are you today?"

"Very well. Thank you."

"Good to hear. Now it's no secret why you're here right?"

"Of course not. I've anticipated this day."

"Would you mind presenting yourself to the court?"

"Of course not."

Mr. Gwon looked to the Judge and Jury before resting his eyes on her and Lisa. "Hello, I'm Do-ming Gwon, and I am the owner of the gas station where Chaeyoung and Lisa were assualted."

Her eyes widened as she looked to Lisa and saw the faint smile on her face. Did Lisa recognize him? Did she know he was coming.

"Thank you Mr. Gwon." Ms. Kim replied. "Now I'm going to ask you a series of questions, please try to remember any details."

"Yes ma'am."

"Okay, what was the first thing you remembered on that day? Was there anything that stood out to you before the altercation took place?"

"It has started out as a pretty normal day. I opened the shop and waiting for the small amount of regulars I had, or the typical travelers. Mr. Yang had came in around his usual time, as he was a regular of mine, being so close to the camp. He didn't seem particularly happy, but not unhappy either."

"And when did Chaeyoung and Lisa arrive?"

"It wasn't much long after Mr. Yang. He had just finished shopping and was making his way to me by the time Lisa had walked inside to shop."

"Did they recognize each other?"

"While in the shop? No, they passed by one another without issue. It was when I was ringing Mr. Yang our where I believe he recognized Chaeyoung from the window."

"Where was Chaeyoung?"

"She was filling their car outside."

"And what did Mr. Yang do that made you believe this? That he recognized her?"

"He stopped listening to me and left the counter. Walking straight out the door and towards Chaeyoung, who seemed immediately scared by the sight of him."

"What makes you think that?"

"She backed away from him. Even when he was still several feet from her, she seemed scared as she tried to stand far."

"And what happened after this?"

"Lisa booked it out of the store. I guess she had a feeling something bad was going to happen? I don't think she even looked to see what was going on. She just left."

"And then?"

"Well, I immediately aimed my cameras at them. And watched what was going on through the feed."

"Do your security cameras have audio?"

"Unfortunately not, but I could hear a lot of yelling from the both of them. Even from inside."

"Do you have any idea what the yelling was about?"

"I could hear small bits and pieces. Mr. Yang sounded angriest, but I did hear whom I think was Lisa, saying what sounded like the word..." Mr. Gwon looked to them. "... rapist."

There were small gasps from the Jury and Ms. Kim seemed pleased by it.

She just looked to her feet on the ground and closed her eyes. Scared to even look to her old boss, in the fear he'd be staring back.

"Could you have mis heard it?" Ms. Kim questioned.

"Possibly." Mr. Gwon shrugged. "But I'm not sure what I could have mixed the word rapist up with?"

"Indeed, it's hard to think of another word that sounds similar off the top of my head." Ms. Kim pondered. "What happened after the yelling Mr. Gwon?"

"Mr. Yang advanced towards Lisa, and threw a punch. It practically became a punching and dodging match after that. I had phoned the police at this point."

"And what was Roseanne doing while they were fighting?"

She fiddled with her fingers in her lap, hearing Lisa speaking to her.

But it sounded almost inaudible against the voice in her head.

"How dare YOU not help her..."

She clamped her hands together.

"Look at you. Making your girlfriend take the beating..." His voice whispered. "Such a cruel thing to do Chaeyoung."

"Baby..."

She looked to Lisa and saw the warmest smile on her face. One of the sweetest ones she's seen.

"I would have been so mad at you if you had tried to get between our fight." Lisa smiled brighter and leaned against her. "I would have thrown a fit."

She chuckled and leaned her head against Lisa's while listening to Mr. Gwon explain how she had appeared in shock, staying beside the car and watching before Lisa had been thrown to her feet.

"And what happened after Lisa was thrown down?" Ms. Kim questioned.

"Well, Mr. Yang was going to hit her again. But Chaeyoung had pushed Lisa out of the way, taking the hit herself instead." He glanced over to them.

"I'm still mad at you." Lisa whispered.

She elbowed her gently in the side, a smile on her face while she did. "I didn't even think to push you out of the way..." She confessed. "I just did."

"Still, don't next time okay? You can't get hurt."

She put her hand on Lisa's thigh and rubbed it. "There won't be a next time."

Lisa smiled and their attention returned to the front.

"And how did Lisa react to this again?" Ms. Kim questioned for verification.

"Lisa attacked Mr. Yang again, defending Chaeyoung. But it didn't last long, as Mr. Yang then knocked Lisa out with the side mirror on her car."

"Knocked her out?"

"Yes. He ripped it off and smashed it against her head. She fell down like a log after that."

"Did he leave once she passed out?"

"Oh no, he went to kick her." Mr. Gwon replied bluntly.

The jury and judge all seemed to glance to Mr. Yang as the man raised a brow at their sudden interest.

Lisa then looked to her and she met her gaze.

"He was going to kick me?"

She nodded and looked to Mr. Gwon who was smiling at her.

She tried her best to smile back.

"Did he Mr. Gwon?" Ms. Kim asked. "Did Mr. Yang kick Lisa?"

"No. He wasn't given e chance to."

"How so?"

"Well, Chaeyoung stopped him."

"And how did she?"

"She threw the mirror at him. Shouted at him. He then lost interest in Lisa, leaving her alone, while moving on to her."

"Moving on to her? How?"

Mr. Gwon looked over to her old boss and crossed his arms. "Mr. Yang tackled Chaeyoung to the ground, and choked her."

The entire courtroom looked at one another and gasped. Speaking their mind before Mr. Gwon spoke again. "He wasn't going to stop." He stated. "He was going to kill her. And if you don't believe me, you can watch the camera footage."

"Could we?" Ms. Kim spoke, as if she didn't know they had the footage. "I'd like to admit Mr. Gwon's camera feed as my next piece of evidence." She spoke towards Judge Cho.

"Very well." The Judge replied. "I know I would like to see it."

Ms. Kim smiled and thanked Mr. Gwon while walking over to the television on wheels and bringing it to the front of the courtroom. Positioning it so everyone could see.

After a couple seconds of pressing buttons, a screen came on and was displaying four different camera angles, the furthest bottom right showing a vehicle pulling into the gas station.

"Mr. Gwon? Would you mind narrating as we watch?"

"It's no problem." He replied. "That's Mr. Yang, when he first pulled up to the station."

She watched as their car pulled up to the station not long after his. Lisa and her currently discussing how she wasn't allowed to walk on her ankle.

They looked fine.

Aside from her ankle, there were no cuts or bruises. No bloody body or fractured ribs. The lights didn't hurt Lisa's eyes yet.

They didn't know what was about to happen.

She wished she could have warned them.

"That's Chaeyoung and Lisa getting out of their car."

Next it showed Lisa walking towards the building. Entering the station on the camera feed to the left of the parking lot one.

Chaeyoung watched as Lisa bumped shoulders with her unsuspecting old boss, and how he was ringing out with Mr. Gwon at the counter after before he then walked out.

Seeing his face approaching her was still so clear in her mind that her heart rate began climbing in remembrance of it all.

And now seeing the feed that was showing him approaching her, it scared her.

She didn't want to live through it again. She didn't want to be scared again. Roseanne wanted to be brave and strong, just like Lisa was that day.

Like how Lisa was practically everyday.

Lisa suddenly dashed out of the station on the left side of the screen and entered the parking lot on the right.

Her ex boss and Lisa talking, before he indeed walked forward and threw a punch.

Threw the first punch.

The audience of jurors all talking amongst themselves again as the fight began.

Mr. Gwon was narrating what was going through his mind and what he was doing as they all continued watching.

Except for her.

She closed her eyes and leaned her head onto Lisa's chest. Lisa's arms going around her, but Chaeyoung felt how her head never changed positions.

Lisa's eyes were still glued onto the screen.

They had to be. As she was now seeing how bad their fight had actually looked. And how broken Lisa's own body was becoming during it all.

(Lisa pov)

So this was what they looked like? How Rosie's old boss showed no signs of mercy or remorse as he fought.

His eyes seeping anger from them, to the point where even a distant camera feed could still showcase it.

But, it wasn't until she saw him ripping off her side mirror and bringing it down swiftly onto her head where her eyes widen and body contorted from the sight.

Everyone in the courtroom gasped and her heart rate began to beat at the speed of Chaeyoung's when she saw her own body laying lifeless on the ground of the parking lot.

She needed to really be comforting Rosie right now for her girlfriend's crazy beating heart, but she couldn't stop watching. Especially when Chaeyoung's old bosses leg went back.

But before he could kick, Chaeyoung threw that mirror.

And Lisa was left watching how he, threw his body into hers. And sent them crashing down.

She clenched onto Chaeyoung's dress as she witnessed her getting choked. His hands were aggressively clenched around her throat and Rosie's hands were fighting against his.

But it was when Rosie's hands and legs stopped moving when she heard her mom choke back a sob and tears began falling from both of their faces.

She would have died...

Right then and there.

If it wasn't for the cops that were currently pinning that man to the ground, Chaeyoung would have died.

She quietly cried and turned her body to Rosie's. Pulling her in tighter and letting herself find comfort from what she just saw, in her.

Her mother's crying could still be heard, but there were several more sniffs being made throughout the courtroom.

She opened her eyes and glanced to Jennie and Jisoo who were currently holding onto one another and wiping their eyes.

Siwon was crying into his hands.

And some of the jurors in the stands were letting some tears fall.

"Thank you, Mr. Gwon, for everything." Ms. Kim spoke softly, breaking everyone from their emotional state.

Ms. Kim sat down in her spot beside them, and to Lisa's appreciation, she patted Chaeyoung's back in comfort.

Rosie lifting herself out of their tight embrace and nodding her head in acknowledgment that she needed to pull herself together for what was still to come.

"Does the defense want to question the witness?" The Judge spoke out while watching the defense deliberate about what was just exposed.

"No your honor." The attorney spoke while still discussing with Mr. Yang, and all the filth that he was.

"Good." Ms. Kim spoke. "This is good."

"Why?" Rosie whispered.

"They don't want to question Mr. Gwon because they can't think of any that would lead to answers benefitting Mr. Yang's case."

"Prosecution, does this conclude your evidence?"

"Yes your honor." Ms. Kim replied aloud. "Under the evidence provided, I want the two accounts of first degree assault to be determined."

"Very well. Mr. Gwon, you may be seated. Jurors, please step out for discussion. We will meet again once you've reached a verdict."

Mr. Gwon stepped down and traveled to his seat while the jurors stood and followed a guard out of the courtroom.

She just hooked an arm around Chaeyoung's neck and brought her in close. Kissing her cheek softly.

"Girls, it won't take them very long to agree that Mr. Yang did indeed assault you both. It's indisputable, like I said before. The evidence shows it clear as day."

"Then what's next Ms. Kim?" She questioned, knowing what was about to be said was going to be serious.

"Attempted rape is not something I can prove as easily." Ms. Kim spoke carefully. "I may have to bring you both up for questioning. The good thing is, your answers will help prove what happened. The bad thing is, it allows the defense an opportunity to cross examine."

"Which means?"

"They can ask you questions of their own. And they won't ask them nicely."

She glanced to Rosie who was sitting silent. Staring at the floor ahead of them.

"Baby?"

"I d-don't want to live through it again." Chaeyoung spoke defeatedly. "I don't want to have think about it again."

"I know you don't Chaeyoung." Ms. Kim squeezed Chae's shoulder. "But the jury has to hear what happened, and there's no evidence I can give besides how much we can make the jury feel for you, and agree with your words."

"But hey, I'll see if I can manage without putting either of you on the spot." Ms. Kim smiled softly. "I have your police interrogations, I can use them instead and hopefully that will work enough to win us this last step in the case."

"Thank you." She replied. "For everything."

The door quietly creaked open again and the jurors returned to the room. Finding their seats as Ms. Kim got back into her zone.

Ready to defend them.

Lisa looked back over to Rosie and gave her thigh a squeeze. "Baby, you're so strong. You've proved it to me so many times. You'd be putting him away babe, think about the end result. You've got this."

Rosie nodded, but still kept her head low.

"Has the jury come to an agreement?" Judge Cho questioned them.

"We have your honor." One juryman spoke.

"And what is the verdict?"

"We find Mr. Yang, guilty of two accounts of first degree assault."

She released a relieved breath and smiled at the words. The judge agreeing and relaying the words of guilt again, but to the man who was being deemed it instead.

Rosie glanced over to her and she smiled at the one that was softly playing on Chaeng's lips. "Now lets make the sentence longer." She whispered.

Chaeyoung nodded and laced their fingers together.

"Before we continue," Judge Cho spoke. "Please, remind the jury and court of your next proposition."

Ms. Kim stood and walked forth once more to have a conversation with the jury. "We, would like to charge Mr. Yang with attempted rape."

The jury looked to one another before studying Ms. Kim again. "Rape is a strong word, I know this, the world knows this. But it had already been mentioned earlier."

"If you remember, Mr. Gwon is sure he heard the word being yelled by Lisa. Directed towards Mr. Yang." Ms. Kim stated. "In truth, there was an altercation that led up to the gas station, and this is where I'm fully disclosing it with you."

"The altercation that took place, was Mr. Yang attempting to rape Chaeyoung. Before Lisa stopped him, and brought Chaeyoung home with her in fear that he would attempt to do so again so long that she stayed in that campsite."

Ms. Kim sighed. "Mr. Yang was mad, primarily with Lisa, for stopping him in his attempt. That's why he assaulted them at the gas station. Because Lisa had defended Chaeyoung against him before."

"Chaeyoung was given rules to follow for staying at the campsite that Mr. Yang owned. And even though she worked hard for him, his rules were ridiculous. Some consisting of not talking to camp goers, which she broke, when Lisa and her mother stayed at the camp."

"You see, Chaeyoung and Lisa were already friends from school. So when they had dinner at the camp together one night, Mr. Yang was not so pleased by it. So he confronted Chaeyoung at the dinner about it."

"And as fine of a man he may seem to people when putting up a front, Chaeyoung and Lisa knew that she was going to pay for breaking that rule." Ms. Kim stated.

"So when Chaeyoung went to her trailer to grab her things, she wasn't surprised to be followed by him. And have her locked door busted down. Lisa, who was still with her mother, knew she needed to get to Chaeyoung. To protect her."

"And if you don't believe me, I would like to admit evidence to the court that will ultimately prove this."

"And what evidence would this be?" The Judge questioned.

"Lisa and Chaeyoung's interrogations about the night the attempted rape transpired." Ms. Kim spoke. "They're also tied to the event you all just witnessed."

The judge looked to them then back before nodding. "You may proceed."

Their attorney smiled and walked back to the screen. Pulling out the old disc and putting in a new one while they waited.

Fingers still locked.

She started rubbing her thumb across Chaeyoung's hand and Rosie turned to her.

"Lisa, my..." Chaeng began, biting her lip. She looked to her intently and rubbed her thigh with her free hand. "My interrogation... I... I admit to stealing and..." Rosie looked down, but she lifted her chin up instead.

"You admit that you were cold. And you admit that you were hungry. I don't hear anything about admitting to be a bad guy." She smiled softly. "I love you Chaeng. Still. And forever. No matter what."

Chaeyoung smiled but she soon squeezed her hand. "Yes. You do love me. But they don't..."

"They might not now. But they will."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Rosie, I have never been more sure of anything... besides loving you. I know you, you're the girl I want to marry. So I know the things about you that will make a person fall in love with you."

"And... those things are?" Chaeyoung questioned softly.

She just smiled and pulled her in for a hug. "Your smile." Lisa whispered. "Your personality. The softness and quietness you give off to people you don't know yet. It makes you cute. It makes you intriguing."

She pulled back and looked at Rosie. Caressing her cheek. "It makes you lovable."

Chaeyoung smiled and put a hand up to cover hers that still graced her cheek. She brought it down to her lap and held onto it tightly.

Lisa opted to switch it out for her other hand while sitting though, since the position was slightly uncomfortable.

"The first interrogation I will be showing you all will be Chaeyoung's. Followed by Lisa's." Ms. Kim spoke while getting the screen loaded up.

Lisa studied Chaeyoung's face as the tv was paused on her's during the interrogation.

Rosie looked nervous.

And Lisa was wishing she could have been there with her.

The screen then began playing and everyone's attention was directed to it, if their's wasn't already.

"Chaeyoung," A detective spoke. "You just saw Lisa. And she's okay." He assured her. "So I'm hoping now that you know she's fine, you'll be willing to answer our questions?"

Ah, Lisa knew when this happened.

It was the second questioning Roseanne had that evening. The one that took place after Detective Baek had asked her to talk to her.

Because Chaeyoung was too nervous and worried to say anything before seeing her.

She watched as Chaeng nodded on the screen, and the Detective noticeably seemed more at ease. "Is that a yes Chaeyoung? You'll cooperate?"

"Y-Yes." Rosie replied quietly.

"Can you state your name?"

"Park Chaeyoung."

"I have records of another name on file. Can you tell me it?"

"Roseanne Park." She replied, with a perfect Australian accent.

"Which one was your birth given name?"

"Roseanne."

"I see. And, your age?"

"Eighteen."

"International?"

Chaeyoung nodded.

So far, the interrogation reminded her a lot of her own.

"Well, Roseanne, what happened today?"

Rosie sat still in the chair and looked down to the tabletop. Lisa was sure her fingers must have been fiddling while underneath it.

She squeezed Chaeyoung's hand as she continued watching.

"My girlfriend... she got beat up."

"Do you know the man that be her up?"

"Yes."

"Who was he?"

Rosie noticeably shifted on the screen. Her eyes glancing up at the Detective before falling back down. "Someone who I had w-worked for."

"Worked for?"

Chaeyoung nodded.

"How did you work for him?"

"I would keep his campsite clean... and fix broken things. Like toilets and lights that stopped working."

"Did he pay you for that?"

Rosie shook her head.

"Why would you work for him without pay?"

Chaeyoung sat still and the Detective had to ask the question again. Being a little more soft about the way he asked it.

"I... I was homeless."

"I'm sorry to hear that, but did he give you something in return for working for him then? To help your situation?"

Chaeng nodded. "He let me stay on a site."

"Did he provide you with a tent or anything?"

"Not really." Chaeyoung shrugged. "I was sleeping under a tree... I just wanted to use the restrooms." She confessed. "I still wanted to be clean, and they were open 24/7."

"So, you had been sleeping under a tree?"

"Yes... but one day someone left their beat up trailer behind, and I had convinced him to let me keep it. So I started sleeping in it instead... it was still cold though."

"Did you have anything to keep you warm?"

"A couple blankets..." Chaeyoung looked down.

The Detective could be seen thinking. Leaning back in his chair. "Was there any free food offered at the campsites? Were you able to eat regularly?"

Lisa watched as Rosie became visibly worried. She began glancing around and trying not to make eye contact with the Detective as she shook her head.

"Was there some days you wouldn't eat?"

Chaeyoung nodded.

"Roseanne, I'm only asking you this because it's my job. And I understand the circumstances of being homeless. Don't be scared." The Detective tried to calm her. "But I have to ask, how did you come in possession of the blankets?"

"I..." Rosie began, biting her lip.

Lisa looked over at Chaeng and saw the worried look on her face. She just leaned her head on her shoulder and squeezed her hand once more.

"I took them." Chaeyoung admitted. "I'm sorry."

The Detective nodded but he didn't look displeased. "It's okay Chaeyoung. I understand."

"It was cold." Rosie voiced out. "I d-didn't mean to steal."

"Were the blankets all you took?"

Chaeyoung slouched in her chair. "N-No."

Rosie couldn't see it, but the whole courtroom saw the Detective smile softly before asking another question. "It was food right?"

Chae looked up to him and he put his pen down. "You took food sometimes too, right?"

"Yeah." Chaeyoung whispered. "Just chips they would leave on the tables and stuff."

Chaeyoung's shoulder shifted and Lisa lifted her head, looking to her. "I stole a bag of Doritos once." Rosie whispered to her. "I made it last a month."

Her heart cracked a bit when she looked at Rosie's defeated expression. She cupped her cheek and shook her head. "My baby shouldn't have had to do that."

Chaeyoung smiled a bit but ended up falling into Lisa's arms.

She smiled softly and caressed her hair as she returned her attention to the tv.

"Chaeyoung? Why did your old boss beat up your girlfriend today?" The Detective questioned after a silence had fallen over them.

"She saved me."

The Detective looked visibly confused by Rosie's statement. Looking to the camera that was recording them in the corner, then back to Chaeyoung in front.

"She, saved you?"

Rosie nodded.

"How did she save you?"

Chaeyoung looked to the Detective and whispered timidly. But the cameras audio could still pick it up. "S-She stopped him."

"Who Chaeyoung?"

"My old boss, who beat her up."

"Chaeyoung, this is very important. What was your old boss doing? When Lisa stopped him?" The Detective questioned seriously.

A hand quickly covered Chaeyoung's mouth on screen and some jurors began whispering in their seats.

Lisa's eyes were glued to Rosie's face as a sniff was heard over the camera feed, and Chaeyoung's face clearly displayed her tears being the hand trying to quiet her cries.

"H-He... was trying to..."

The Detective waited while Chaeyoung cried a bit more, before she sniffed and uncovered her mouth.

Lisa watched as a change seemed to happen. Roseanne no longer seemed nervous and scared, she seemed as if she was calming herself down and trying hard to breathe stability.

"He was... trying to rape me." She spoke between muffled sniffs.

The jury again began whispering and the Judge looked to the defense as Chaeyoung's old boss sat still. No emotion on his face.

"What led up to him attempting to rape you Chaeyoung? Was there a reason? Or had this happened before?" The Detective questioned softly.

"I talked to her."

"Who?"

"My girlfriend... only she wasn't my girlfriend yet, at the time."

"Why would he try to rape you after talking to someone?"

"Because he told me not to."

"Not to talk to her?"

Chaeyoung nodded. "I wasn't allowed to talk to anyone, but more specifically, her. He was mad that they liked me." Rosie looked away. "They asked me to eat dinner with them and... and I knew I shouldn't have... but I did."

"And he saw you?"

"Yeah... he came over and... and told me to stop bothering them." Chaeng spoke. "I ran to my trailer, to grab my bag and leave before he could hurt me, but I wasn't fast enough."

"Did you know he was going to hurt you?"

"Y-Yeah, he had hurt me before. I just, didn't think he'd try to... rape me."

"How would he hurt you in the past?"

"If I ever did something he didn't like, he'd hit me. I had several other rules to follow, and I sometimes wouldn't follow them perfectly. So he'd hit me... or make s-sexual comments to belittle me."

"How many times would you say he had hit you?"

Chaeyoung stayed still for a moment, before answering quietly. "Maybe twelve, or t-thirteen times?"

She clenched onto the back of Rosie's dress and took in deep breaths.

Twelve or thirteen times?! What the actual- that animal.

(Chae pov)

Lisa was holding onto her tightly, and she could hear the Thai's breaths as she leaned her head on her torso.

She readjusted her hold onto Lis, hoping to somehow calm her down without having to look up.

Because she didn't want to look up.

She was listening to the continuation of the interrogation. About how he had thrown her against the stovetop and practically choked her out.

Before ripping her sweats, tearing them down, and preparing to remove his length from his boxers when Lisa had barged in and ripped him off her.

The audience had grown quiet in the courtroom again as they listened to her quiet sobs fill the air from the interrogation feed.

Her own voice explaining how he was mad at Lisa for ruining his plans of fucking her. And how Lisa was always there to defend her from him or anyone that ever tried to hurt her.

She wished Lisa would have been by her side from the beginning. Stopping her from ever seeing Favors, stopping her from ever agreeing to work for her old boss and sticking around for as long as she did.

Even with the hits and comments.

"Thank you Chaeyoung, I know it must have been hard for you to talk about that. But before I let you go, I do have another question for you." The Detective spoke after she finished her speech on the events.

She kept herself pressed against Lisa and her exposed skin. Feeling the warmth radiating from her and taking in a breath.

Lisa always smelt so nice.

"How did you, and when did you, end up homeless?" The Detective asked.

At the time of the interrogation, she knew that question would be asked. It was an important piece of the puzzle anyways, the puzzle of why a campsite and not a home?

Why alone? And without parents?

She finally lifted herself out of Lisa's chest and was met immediately with a soft pair of lips on hers. She stared wide eyed before closing her eyes and kissing back.

Lisa and her parting from their quiet exchange and looking at each other after.

"Lis?"

"I know. I know we're in court." Lisa whispered to her. "I'm just proud of you. Please feel better."

She smiled and readjusted their fingers together while turning to the screen and watching herself build up the courage to speak.

"At fifteen, my parents, sister, and I, moved here from Australia." She had begun. "But... on my birthday..."

She looked herself in the eyes and felt the exact pain she had felt whilst in that moment. But, she kept her head up as she watched the screen.

Thinking of Lisa's kiss as she did.

"On my birthday, we got into a car accident." She had admitted, sniffing. "My mother wasn't with us at the time... and I was the only survivor."

"I was in the hospital for a quite few months, and after being released, I got..." there was a pause before she realized she'd have to say it. "I got addicted to my medicine."

"Your pills?" The Detective tried to understand.

"Yes... after the doctor said I'd be fine without them, I didn't think I'd be. I missed my dad and sister so much..." She teared up. "And my mom and I had never been the same after they passed."

"Are you saying, you got into drugs Chaeyoung?"

"Yes, I am. But I didn't want to be." She cried lightly, trying her best to remain composed. "I didn't want to, but I thought they helped me. My guilt, and pain."

"Were you still fifteen at this time?" The Detective questioned.

"Yes."

"And how did you come to be away from your mother then?"

"She... she found out about my drug addiction... and wasting her money on them. So she told me to go. I grabbed a bag of my things and left after that... and when I went back home, she was gone."

"Your mother left?"

"Yes... the house was empty and locked. So, I became homeless... and alone."

She sighed and listened as the interrogation finished up. The court in quiet whispers about the information they had just learned from her.

Ms. Kim then addressed that she'd be putting Lisa's on the tv, and she was pretty curious to hear what Lisa had to say during hers.

Soon, the screen changed into Lisa and Detective Baek. Sitting in a room similar to the one she had been in, and adjusting to their surroundings.

"Okay Lisa, this is where we get professional." Detective Baek spoke. "I'm going to ask you a question, and ask you more depending on how you answer. Sound good?"

"Yeah." Lisa replied calmly.

Chaeyoung admired Lisa's ability to be so calm and collected after just getting the life punched out of her.

"Okay. Can you state your name?"

"Lalisa Manoban."

"And your age?"

"Eighteen."

"Is that international? Or Korean?"

"Oh, international. Sorry."

She smiled at the reply. Of course Lisa would apologize.

"That's alright. Can you tell me what happened today?"

"I was getting gas with my girlfriend, when a man approached us. He was mad at me and I him for what he was saying. So when he started to swing at me, I defended myself and my girlfriend the best I could."

"Did you know this man? And why he was mad at you?"

"Yes."

"Where from?"

"He was my girlfriends old boss."

"Old boss?"

"Yes, my girlfriend was homeless and lived at the campsite he owned. That man promised she could stay there if she worked for him by maintaining it. She did everything, anytime, day or night. And lived in an old trailer while doing so. Getting nothing in return."

"Why would he be mad upon seeing you then? Did you do something to make him?"

"Not at the time, no. But he had hit Chaeyoung before, and I could see her bruises at school. So I went to the campsite with my mom, to kind of check on her living conditions."

Lisa had sighed before continuing. "While we were there, he got mad at her for talking to us, so when he saw her having dinner with my mom and I one night, he lost it."

"What do you mean by lost it?"

"After Chaeyoung returned to her trailer, he followed her and broke in. I chased after them because I was afraid she'd get hurt. And when I arrived at the trailer, he was in the middle of attempting to rape her."

"And what did you do?"

"I picked up a rock, and I beat him to hell with it."

Her eyes widened as the jury released quiet gasps. She looked over to Lisa with her mouth slightly parted.

"What?" Lis whispered innocently.

"Beat him to hell with it?" She questioned nervously. "Lisa... why would you say that?"

"Because it's what I did. And it's what he deserved."

Her heart began to beat faster in worry the jury would think differently about Lisa's assault, even if it was to defend her.

"Was today the first time you've seen him after that?" Detective Baek had asked next.

"Yes."

"So where did Chaeyoung go after the attempted rape?"

"Home, with my mom and I."

"Does she live with you currently?"

"Yes."

"How did Chaeyoung ever become homeless?"

"Chaeyoung, her father, older sister, and mother all moved here from Australia when she was fifteen. But not long after moving here, her father, sister, and her, got into an accident."

"Chaeyoung was the only surviver. And after living with her mom for several months, they got into a fight and her mom left. Leaving her behind."

"At fifteen?"

"Yes."

"What was their fight about?"

Lisa looked as if she was debating on what she should say next. "Chaeyoung... and her addiction to her medication. Amongst other kinds of drugs."

"Is she still addicted?"

"No, she's clean."

At least Lisa said she was clean. If only she had mentioned that during her interrogation. But she was nervous, and put on the spot.

"How long has Chaeyoung been living with you?" Detective Baek questioned after being quiet for a minute.

"Since late last year."

"And how long has she been clean?"

"Since she moved in with us."

"Would you say she's benefitted from being with you?"

"Yes. She got her life back. And she's healthy on top of it all."

"If you could ask her old boss anything, what would you ask?"

"I'd ask him how he could ever think to do such a thing to Chae, let alone try. Because all she ever did was what he said. Keeping his campsite clean. Her being an addict had no affect on her ability to work."

"She was and still is kind, smart, and persevering. She's been through so much, lost so much. Yet she still is. So I'd ask him how he could ever do that to her. Then beat me up, for ruining his chances of raping her."

She looked over to Lisa again and saw the smile the Thai was wearing. She began reciprocating it with her own and leaned into Lisa's neck.

Her girlfriends arms going around her once more and holding onto her in a warm hug.

It's almost over.

They broke their hug when the sound of the tv turning off caught their attention. Ms. Kim moving it back to the spot it had sat before, then walking in front of the jury once again.

"I understand that these two interrogations can't serve as physical evidence, but I want you all to understand what these two girls had gone through."

"One, Lisa, was trying her best to defend and protect her school mate crush from being raped by the man she worked tirelessly for."

"The other, Chaeyoung, a girl who had gone through too much for her age. Leaving her feeling helpless and alone, while fighting against a man who used her to his advantage." Ms. Kim looked to each of the people seated in front of her.

"I beg that you not need any further evidence or questionings to see that these two girls are innocent. And that Mr. Yang had attempted to take a seventeen year old girl to bed without consent."

"Will you not be calling them forth?" Judge Cho questioned Ms. Kim. Looking particularly curious.

Lisa and her glanced to one another before Ms. Kim looked towards them and smiled softly. "I would not like to, no. They've been through enough. And as long as the court is happy with it, then I'd like to reach a verdict."

"Objection your honor!" The defense attorney rose from his seat. "I'd like to question Park Chaeyoung."

Her heart stopped upon hearing his request.

She didn't want to talk about it anymore. Ms. Kim was trying to help it be over with more sooner than later.

"You can't object simply because you'd like to question someone." Judge Cho looked to him begrudgingly.

"I'm objecting to Ms. Kim wanting to have the jury reach a verdict when there's still questions to be answered."

"What questions?" Judge Cho asked plainly. "I've had all mine answered already."

"Questions like just how many and what kind of drugs that girl would take? How it could have affected her mind and memory. Mr. Yang could easily be being made into the bad guy by a delusional and high girls imagination." The attorney snapped.

He then stood up and briskly made his way in front of the jury. "Are we really about to pin everything onto a man by the words of two high school kids?" He asked them. "With no evidence to back them up? They could be creating this whole story in hopes we all believe it without any proof."

"Your honor!" A familiar voice spoke out. Lisa and her turning to Ami, who had stood up and gained the attention of the entire courtroom. "I have proof."

Everyone began whispering amongst one another while Ms. Kim rushed over to Lisa's mom and began speaking quietly with her.

"Quiet in the court." The judge spoke out. "Whatever your name is, Attorney..." Judge Cho glared to the defense attorney whom was still standing in front of the jury. "I don't appreciate you speaking out of turn. Your objection is overruled. We don't need to question the victim anymore."

"But, your honor." He pleaded harshly.

"I said overruled. Now take your seat."

The defense attorney looked back to the jury and spoke out a 'think about it' before trudging back to his seat and glaring to them.

Lisa put a hand on her thigh in comfort, but they both had their attention on Ami, who was still chatting with their attorney.

"Ms. Kim?"

"Yes your honor?" Ms. Kim whirled around and looked to him.

"Whom just spoke to the court?"

"Ami Manoban your honor."

"Will there be something further shared with us?"

Ms. Kim smiled and nodded her head. "I'd like to admit new evidence. And call Ami Manoban to the front."

"This is absurd." Her old bosses defense attorney hissed.

"You may proceed." Judge Cho spoke.

"You're pro prosecution Judge." The attorney snapped.

"And you wanted evidence, so be happy you got your wish. New evidence." The Judge replied. "And watch your tone."

She glanced over to Lisa from where her eyes were watching the Judge, and saw her girlfriend smirking at the scene before them.

"What a turd." Lisa whispered.

She chuckled and nodded her head before watching Ami, who was swearing to speak the truth and nothing but it under oath.

Then Momma Ami took up the seat in front, next to the Judge.

"Can you restate your name and relation for the court?" Ms. Kim questioned her.

"Yes. I'm Ami Manoban. And I'm the mother of Lisa."

"And you were there with Lisa the night the attempted rape took place?"

"Yes, and I could see how worried both Lisa and Chaeyoung were after Mr. Yang confronted Chaeyoung at dinner."

"And what was his excuse for interrupting you all?"

"That Chaeyoung was bothering us, even after I told him that we had invited her to eat."

"And when Lisa wanted to go to Chaeyoung after she and Mr. Yang had left, what did you do?"

"I let Lisa guide me to Chaeyoung's trailer."

"And what happened when you reached it?"

"Lisa had ran ahead of me, since my daughter is faster. But even though I never saw what had happened, I had heard screams while running, and the damage to the trailer and Mr. Yang when I arrived."

"And Chaeyoung?"

"She was bleeding from a gash on her head. And from cuts on her arm." Ami replied sadly.

"That sounds terrible. What did you do after arriving?"

"I had my daughter collect Chaeyoung while I grabbed her bag. We locked Mr. Yang in the trailer before returning to our camp. Collecting our things, then bringing her home."

"So you didn't think twice about taking Chaeyoung with you?"

"Of course not, she had been through enough." Ami looked to her and met her eyes. They smiled at one another softly. "Chaeyoung deserved a loving family, not that."

"And what happened after you brought Chaeyoung back to your home?"

"Well, she was still injured. So I cleaned up her wound." Ami spoke. "But, as a nurse, I was worried her bandage would fall off during the night. And her cut would re open."

"So, that night, I went to check up on her." Ami smiled and looked down. "Lisa and Chaeyoung had fallen asleep together after comforting one another, and I took a photo of it because it made me happy."

Ami looked up and stared at them with warm eyes.

She was staring back with wet eyes of her own.

"And after snapping the photo of them cuddling, I went to check on Chaeyoung's wound and bandage, only to see it was coming off."

Ami took out her phone and scrolled on her screen, before she clicked on something and handed her phone out to Ms. Kim.

"While I changed out the bandage, I took a photo her wound." Ami stated as Ms. Kim showed the judge the photo, then went over to the jury and took her time to let them all see it. "I took it, because I wanted evidence. I wanted to have some proof, because being a nurse opens your eyes to a lot of things."

"And I didn't want to chance someone not opening up their eyes, to what happened to Chaeyoung that night." Ami finished. "I know it's not a lot, but I hope it's enough."

"Thank you Ami." Ms. Kim smiled while bringing her phone back to her.

Ami was soon dismissed from the front and the jury began talking amongst themselves before being told to head out, to reach a verdict.

Ms. Kim came back to sit with them and Lisa thanked her for not making them go up in front for questioning.

Even though she was sure Lisa wouldn't have minded.

But herself? She would have been so nervous telling her story again. Or facing whatever questions the defense attorney wanted to ask her.

Lisa put her arms around her and kissed her shoulder rocking her side to side slightly and humming.

"Good mood?" She whispered curiously.

"Mhm!" Lisa grinned toothlessly.

"Why?"

"Why? Because Ms. Kim is amazing thats why. Your old boss is going to be found guilty again, and we'll be free."

"Free?" She questioned, looking to Lisa.

"Yes free." Lisa smiled and leaned forward. Pecking her lips. "Free from every person that wronged you. Favors was put away. Your old boss is about to be. And your mom? Well, we saw her, and know she feels bad. So yeah, we'll be free."

She smiled a bit at the thought and leaned back into Lisa. Kissing her lips again and finding peace from them.

But what she wasn't finding peace from, was the ominously longer wait they were being put through by the jury.

Were they unsure of what to decide?

Lisa caressed the back of her hair after they parted from their kiss. Running her fingers through it while Jisoo and Jennie spoke with them while waiting.

That was until the door opened and footsteps entered the room. Echoing through it while everyone found their seats again.

She sat a little more upright in hers while waiting to hear what the jury had decided.

"Has the jury came to a second verdict?" Judge Cho questioned after everyone had settled.

"Yes your honor." The same juror from before stood up.

"And what decision has been made?"

"We, the jury, even with little physical evidence, find the defendant..." She held her breath. "Guilty, of attempted rape."

Lisa crushed her bones in a hug while she sat there. Quietly absorbing everything that had happened and coming to terms with the fact, the jury believed them, and really did find him guilty.

"Good." Judge Cho agreed with their verdict. " Yang Hyun-suk, the court finds you guilty of two accounts of first degree assault, and one account of attempted rape. Your sentencing will be held in the near future. And with that, case dismissed."

Holy shit.

She's free.

They're free.

"But just before I dismiss you, Mr. Yang, I would like a word." The Judge spoke up again, gaining their attention, and some of the audience still within the courtroom.

Her old boss was lifted from his seat and escorted up to the Judge where he looked at him bitterly.

"I know who you are, and the kind of person you are." Judge Cho stated. "Was it worth it? Tax evading?"

"Excuse me?" Her old boss spoke.

"Oh, you don't remember? I was the judge that deemed you guilty of tax evading those several years ago. The one that saw through your lies and knew how you used your money."

"You paid people off and took what belonged to your company and the people signed under it instead of paying out what you should have. To your employees and the country."

"YG entertainment fell because of you." Judge Cho crossed his arms. "You ruined a company, your name, lost the title of CEO and gained a campsite. I hope your happy with the outcome of your decisions. Because now you gained the title of incarceration and attempted rapist."

Her old boss went to lash out but the Judge ordered for him to be taken away, and so he was.

He was being escorted quickly out while still in his handcuffs, and she was relieved by the sight of it.

"He... he was the CEO of YG entertainment?" Lisa questioned, astonished.
