(Lisa pov)

She leaned in and captured Rosie's lips in a brief, but deep kiss. Students passing by them whilst they did.

But caring about what other students or even teachers could say or think was the least of her worries.

Lisa actually didn't have any worries at the moment, aside from what she had stayed up late thinking about yesterday. But Roseanne had awoken last night, seemingly sensing her restlessness, and aided her thoughts and worry.

"L-Lisa?"

She furrowed her brows. She could hear Rosie's voice in her dream, but her vision was blank. Wait, if she was dreaming... she wouldn't know she was. Would she?

"Baby?"

Okay, Roseanne was definitely speaking to her.

Lisa fluttered her eyes open, and saw moonlight glistened orbs watching her from the small space between them.

Still in the same position of her hand on Chaeyoung's waist as the Australian slept facing her.

"Are you having trouble sleeping?"

"A little." She replied. "What makes you ask?"

"You keep readjusting and releasing breaths a lot." Chaeyoung answered tiredly. Before scooting closer and giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Is something bothering you?"

She smiled and shook her head. Wrapping her other arm around Chaeyoung and pulling her onto chest. Switching to her back and keeping her there atop, even if it hurt a little.

"I was just thinking about you... amongst others things." She answered truthfully.

"What other things?"

She bit her lip before tightening her hold on Chaeyoung. "Just, that I think I turned into someone I never thought I would. Or even could."

Rosie lifted her head and looked at her softly. "Are you, disappoint? In yourself?"

"No."

"Then why is it bothering you Lisa?" Chaeyoung cupped her cheek with her hand. "I know what it feels like to hate the person you've became. But if you're not disappointed in yourself, then why is my baby loosing sleep?"

Her cheeks shifted into a shade of pink at the use of the words 'my baby', even though they've called each other that a lot. Maybe it was because Chaeyoung was tired, but still went out of her way to make her smile.

"I was worried that I should feel a certain way about it, about who I am now. But I don't, and that was the scary thing for me."

"Like," she continued. "Remember when I told you I was nervous for court? That for some reason, people might not believe in us?"

"Yes, I do." Rosie rubbed her cheek with her thumb.

"Well, it's like my whole world did this 180. After I heard something mom said earlier, I felt, and feel, so different. Like, I realized I am a lot more... darker.... than before."

Roseanne removed her thumb and stared quietly. "What do you mean by, 'darker'?"

"I don't mean anything like evil!" She quickly stated.

Rosie simply shook her head and smiled softly. "I know Lis. I know you're not evil."

She nodded and rubbed Chaeyoung's back. "I mean, before I was worried about us. But now, when we're in court, I'm going to make that man confess. I'm going to send him to prison. And I won't take anything less."

Chaeyoung looked to her, and slowly curved her lips into a smile. "Then, I'll help you. Even if it means... remembering... everything he's done to me, or was going to do. I'll make confessions of my own."

She moved a hand behind Chaeyoung's neck and pulled her in for a quick kiss. Before setting them both back down to prepare for sleep again.

"The old me, the one who fell in love with you?" She began. "She solely believed that everyone deserved a second chance, pity, and forgiveness. But the me now, whose love for you has developed into so much more; she doesn't believe everyone deserves a second chance, pity, or forgiveness. Especially someone like him."

"He doesn't even deserve death... it's too easy of a way out. He deserves to be locked up, and publicly punished for what he's caused you, and anyone else."

She pulled in a breath and held it there, before releasing it. Like she'd been doing most the night, I guess.

Hopefully she didn't keep Rosie awake or bothered for too long.

"You don't sound any darker to me Lisa..." Chaeyoung quietly confessed. Making her look down at her head with soft and confused eyes.

Rosie couldn't see her from their position, but maybe she could feel the change in her tension.

"You sound like you're finally seeing the world for how cruel in can be... and adapting to it." Roseanne stated while snuggling deeper. "You're seeing it a little more like me. Like Jennie and even Jisoo."

"You're not evil for feeling the way you do. Not feeling bad about sending a man to prison. I'd be more worried if you did feel bad, personally." Rosie chuckled lightly, then stifled a yawn.

"Even though you told me your biological father wasn't a good person, you and your family sure are. So I can see why you're worried about who you think you've become."

"But... you've become someone I'm still very much proud to be in love with. You're still heaven sent, Gods just given you the gift of seeing demons. And now you know who they are, and therefore, don't need to offer them any second chances. For they've already decided their fate."

Lisa didn't know why she was crying, but she was. Not an audible cry, or even a shake. Just tears, because Roseanne's words sounded so... natural, and true.

And she said it so easily, like she didn't even need to think about what she was saying. Like they were being spoken to her.

And she was just repeating it.

"Do you feel any better? Do you believe me?" Rosie questioned her while taking deeper breaths.

"Yes." She replied with a sniff. "I believe you."

"Don't cry baby."

"I'm not."

"But I heard you sniff?"

"It's just my allergies..."

"But you don't have any?"

"Yes I do."

"Then what are you allergic to?"

"The... the air."

"Oh I see." Chaeyoung chuckled softly while adjusting her hand on her chest. "I'm sorry then. Have fun being allergic to oxygen. I'm going back to sleep okay?"

"Okay babe."

"Sleep soon too?"

"I know I will. Now. Thank you Rosie."

"Anything for you."

Funny, I was thinking that same thing Rosie.

That I would do anything, and everything, for you.

"Lis?" Chaeyoung's warm breath hit her lips. "The bell's going to ring.

"I know." She sighed. "I just love kissing you."

"I love kissing you too, but don't be late." Chaeyoung pecked her lips and hurried to her classroom door. "I love you, enjoy your first." She spoke quickly, before entering it, and leaving her alone.

Lisa just stood there and stared at the door.

Not caring about the fact the bell was really about to ring. She just badly wanted to enter Chaeyoung's classroom and kiss her one last time. Just one more second of her soft lips on hers.

But instead of reaching for the handle, she began walking to her class.

Picking up the pace after the bell sounded and reaching it only a few seconds after it passed. Opening the door and watching the students look her way.

She bowed to her teacher, and noticed her spot was already taken from yesterday, after browsing the seats.

But a hand soon lifted high and waved to her, and she smiled at the sight of Seulgi motioning to an open chair beside her.

"I hope you don't mind." Seulgi began as she sat down. "I noticed you weren't here yet and saved you a seat. Just in case."

"Thank you Seulgi." She smiled before looking around the classroom and finding the other free chairs in class. Near some... fun... looking students. "Oh."

"Hm?" Seulgi questioned.

"Just, noticing who I would have had to sit beside if you didn't do me this favor." She chuckled quietly. "You're way better."

Seulgi smiled and curiously looked around the class. Noticing the students herself and laughing. "Was the one in blue... picking his nose?"

"Seems so." She shrugged before leaning to Seulgi. "Probably would have flicked it at me once finished."

Seul let out a chuckle that the teacher apparently heard. They both sat stoic and acted as natural as possible to not get caught.

And it worked, as the teacher squinted as they surveyed the class, before returning to their lesson and the board. Not knowing who the culprit was.

"Way to almost get in trouble there Seul." She teased. "I thought you were a good student?"

"Excuse me? I totally am Miss late on the second day." Seulgi defended. "How did you even manage that? When you were perfectly capable of getting here on time the first time?"

"I was too busy wanting to kiss my girlfriend in the halls." She answered truthfully.

"Oh." Seul spoke, followed by a chuckle. "Well... Chaeyoung is pretty."

She looked over and playfully eyed the girl beside her.

"What? Oh don't give me that look. I'm straight, she's all yours."

"Hm... sure." She raised a brow, then faced the front. Beginning to pay attention and jotting down notes.

Knowing well she'd have to focus sooner or later.

(Chae pov)

She already felt lonely.

Just after she had took up her seat in first, she imagined Lisa opening the door and rushing to her. Not ready to let her go.

Silly, she knows. But for some reason, it's what she pictured.

And secretly wanted.

Even if it would have made Lisa late, which was selfish of her.

But after hearing what Lisa had been having on her mind last night, she felt like she needed to be near her now more than ever. Just to be sure Lisa truly was alright, like she states.

"Hey, Chaeyoung?"

She looked over to her left at the boy whom introduced himself as Jaehyun. He was quite tall, had dirty blonde hair, and was pretty kind from her observations.

"What did you get for question four? I understand our teacher wants us to find the absolute value... but I don't get how."

"Oh um... can I, see your paper?"

"Yeah!" He quickly reached for his page and handed it to her. "Here. Thank you, by the way."

"It's okay." She replied while studying his work.

Chaeyoung wasn't even sure she got the answer right, but at least the beginning of his work looked like hers.

"This is where you're stuck?"

"Yeah, unless that's the answer?" He chuckled and looked at her with hopefulness. She just shook her head. "Worth a try." He sighed.

"You need to convert it."

"Convert it?"

"Yeah, into polar form."

"Oh, that's what the teacher was referring to right? With the r?"

"Yeah. I mean... I think?" She doubted before holding his work between them and pointing to where she was referring to. "You solved for this correctly, but in the prompt it mentions converting. The only way you can convert it, is into a polar form."

She began explaining how she solved for it and didn't even notice the shadow that loomed over their heads.

Jaehyun and her both looked up startled after hearing the clearing of a throat.

They met her eyes and Roseanne watched as their teacher looked down at Jaehyun's paper she was still holding.

Passing it back to him as he began explaining that she was only trying to help him understand.

Their teacher seemed to ignore him and looked down to her paper. Lifting it up off the desk and noticing how she had already solved all of the 'exercises'.

But, after studying it, their teacher simply sat it back down on her desk.

And smiled?

"Well done Chaeyoung." She spoke, before turning around and passing back down the couple rows of students.

"You think that means you got them right?" Jaehyun chuckled nervously. Scratching his neck.

"I... I guess so?"

"You're pretty smart then Chaeyoung." He smiled and offered another thank you for helping.

She bowed her head slightly in acknowledgment, already feeling a bit tired of talking. She hated that she still felt like that sometimes.

Tired.

Talking shouldn't exhaust her, and it doesn't when she's talking to her friends. But new people? She was still the shy, less talkative Chaeyoung.

Hopefully time will help to change that.

But the bell soon rang, and she packed up her stuff. Lifting her bag up and over her shoulder while glancing to Jaehyun.

He was nice, and she didn't really know anyone else in this class...

Say something.

"Um... have a good day Jaehyun." She spoke quietly. Before turning and walking towards the door.

"You too Chaeyoung!" He spoke out with a smile definitely apparent in his voice.

She ended up smiling herself.

Not because of hearing Jaehyun's reply, or the way he sounded when he said it.

But because she heard Lisa's voice. Telling her good job, with an added 'baby' at the end.

She happily walked into her second period and smiled to Jennie who was again the first in her seat.

They made pleasant conversation until the sounds of loud people entering made her turn towards the door.

Lisa cruised in and took up her seat quickly. Looking at her intently, an endearing smile on her face.

"Hey."

"Hi." She grinned.

Lisa scooted to the end of her seat and leaned over to her. The Thai's bag in her right hand. "I missed you."

She blushed a bit as Lisa looked to her lips and licked hers.

How is it they always seem to think and feel the same way?

Lisa leaned forward and used her bag as a shield from her teacher's eyes. No shit they would be kissing behind it, but they didn't care.

It was a cute gesture by Lis anyways.

She kissed Lisa back softly. Moving her lips more in sync to hers before Jennie coughed and it separated them.

"Yo, get a room." Jen teased. Making Lisa and her smile.

Lisa then pecked her lips once more, before biting down on her own and looking away.

"Oh shit, looks like you already had." Jennie spoke up again. "Nice hickey Manoban."

She covered her mouth as the hickey she gave Lisa last night was in clear view. The Thai quickly moving her hair over it and staring in shock. "Oh my god! I forgot to cover it..."

"Or did you not on purpose?" Jennie squinted at Lis. Her smirk only growing.

"I totally forgot Jennie, stop." Lisa whined cutely. "I'm embarrassed."

"About what?" BamBam questioned while taking up his seat. Yeri following suit behind him as the bell rang and the teacher began addressing the class.

"Chaeyoung gave Lisa a hickey and Lisa forgot to cover it." Jisoo smiled from beside Jennie. The two girls holding hands in their seats.

BamBam slowly looked from Lisa, to her, then back. Before shrugging with a smile. "That's cool, more action than me."

Yeri chuckled and then gave them all a sympathetic look. "BamBam has been feeling lonely lately."

"That so Bam?" Lisa questioned softly.

"Boo hoo." Jennie spoke. Jisoo unclamping their hands and smacking her arm. "Ouch Chu... uh, what I meant was, why Bam?"

"No reason particular." They all stared at him. "Okay..." he sighed in defeat. "Maybe I miss you guys."

"We miss you too Bam." She smiled softly to him. Seeing some of his vulnerability showing. "We should hang out more."

"I would sit with you guys at lunch again, like I had done every know and then..." He started. "But then, I noticed your table grew to even more women to be afraid of. And I didn't want to bother you guys."

"You wouldn't be bothering us." Jisoo replied warmly after they chuckled at his choice of words.

"Yeah Bam, you're always welcome to sit with us." Yeri spoke. Putting a hand on his arm. "You're cool. My friends would enjoy meeting you."

BamBam smiled and sat up a bit straighter in his seat. "Thanks guys. Maybe I will."

"Always welcome to." She repeated Yeri's words.

"Yeah Bam, just text me okay? Come over some more. Mom misses you." Lisa assured him while taking up her hand.

She laced her fingers with hers and smiled softly as the conversation turned to their teacher. Who was currently asking them, fairly nicely, to pay attention to the lesson.

(Lisa pov)

She was currently making out with Chaeyoung in the car while they waited for Siwon to leave the building.

They had agreed yesterday in going to his house again after school today. But they thought it would be weird driving their immediately, then waiting in his drive way or across the street for him to show.

So instead, they opted to quietly trade mouths in the school parking lot. Parting periodically to glance out the window, before going back to their closed eyes, warm lips, solution of killing time.

"We kiss a lot." Rosie whispered as they took in some air. Their noses still touching. Breath, still warm on one another's lips.

"Yeah? And what's led you to that observation?"

"Us. Kissing... A lot." Chae spoke airily while leaning back in and closing the gap between them once more.

But while she began kissing her again, Lisa noticed movement out of the corner of her eye. A specific younger teacher finally exiting the building ahead.

"Baby..." she spoke into Chaeyoung's lips. "I see him."

Rosie let their lips disconnect slowly and Lisa had to fight the urge to lean back in and pin her down on the seat in front.

She really felt like constantly being with and kissing Chaeyoung today. Ever since yesterday and last night, it was like Lisa needed her.

Well, she's always needed her.

"We can't keep him waiting now..." She whispered as Chaeyoung had her forehead resting on her own.

"I know." Chae replied, before pecking her lips, then sitting back in her seat and buckling up.

She smiled at Roseanne for always being safe, even if it was because riding in cars still made her nervous.

Lisa was just proud of her, for being so overcoming.

She started the car and buckled herself in before leaving the lot and driving towards Siwon's house.

Chaeyoung and her ended up behind him as they drove. Rosie holding her hand while they did and humming to whatever music was playing.

"How was class today?" She questioned. Rosie turning to her with a confused expression. "Music babe, how was it?

"Oh, it was fine." Chaeyoung smiled a little while meeting her eyes.

Lisa turned from her and paid attention to the road, but it didn't stop her from questioning Rosie further. "Only fine?"

"It was just the second day Lis."

"I know, it's just... I wanted music to be amazing for you." She pouted.

"It's already nice that Siwon is my teacher." Chaeyoung released her hand and squeezed her arm instead. "It's okay."

She felt the warm hand leave her arm and the coolness made her gulp. It brought a question to her tongue and it was these questions that made her feel bad for asking.

But her stupid self always needed to know.

"You feel judged, don't you?"

The quietness that enveloped them let her know she was right. Lisa sighed and took in a breath, silently cursing herself for ruining their mood.

Why does she always do this?

Why does she have to do this?"

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything."

"Why not?"

She glanced over to Chaeyoung and saw her looking out the window. "Because I changed the atmosphere... and I made you sad."

Rosie looked back to her and smile softly. She sighed at the sight and looked back to the road, nearing Siwon's place when Chaeyoung spoke up again.

"You're not wrong, I feel judged. And I probably always will. We just haven't played any actual music yet. So when we, as a class, talked about what we played or liked, I felt like all the other students didn't believe me. Besides Jisoo and Wendy."

"But you know the truth." She assured her. "You know who you are and what you can do."

"I know Lis. And I know the second I actually get my hands on an instrument, and somehow can get past my nerves to play it, my worries and their judgment won't exist anymore."

Lisa parked behind Siwon's truck as their teacher had gestured for them to. Then she turned to Chaeyoung who was looking at her quietly.

"I love you, and others will love you too. You're so passionate, they just need to see that. And they will, and they'll then finally understand where they're flawed."

"How are they flawed Lis?" Chaeyoung questioned softly.

"They judge." She replied while leaning forward and kissing her forehead. "We've all been taught not to judge a book by its cover. We translate books into people. They're flawed to think otherwise."

She leaned back and opened her car door. Waving to Siwon while walking around and opening Chae's. Helping her out before putting a hand on her cheek.

"Help them for me Chaeng?" She questioned while using another one of Rosie's many nicknames. "Help them see?" She rubbed her thumb across her cheek.

"I will." Chaeyoung replied with a smile. "I'll help them see."

She brought her hands down and laced one with hers. Walking up to Siwon who was waiting for them at the front door. "Hi girls, having a moment?"

"Yes, like we always do." She smiled.

"Nothing bad though right?" He questioned while letting them inside.

"No, nothing 'that' bad. It was actually about music."

"Music like in general? Or in the one I'm teaching?" Siwon chuckled nervously.

"The one your teaching." She replied with a shrug. Raising her chin and staring off.

"Woah hey now." Siwon began. Putting up his hands in defense. "I know I'm just a lousy gym teacher-"

"Siwon, Lisa's just teasing." Rosie spoke.

She pouted and crossed her arms. "Babe, why'd you have to tell him?"

"Because you're making him feel bad."

"I can handle some destructive criticism just fine, but was there actually something about the class that you were talking about?" Siwon inquired.

"Not something, someones."

"Someones? Oh, like... the students?" Siwon questioned while they stood around the kitchen counter.

"Yeah, what can you tell me about them?" She asked curiously.

Siwon eyed her then looked to Chaeyoung who was standing rather closely to her side. He seemed to get a look of understanding.

"They're not mean, or try to be. They're just students, people. But everyone in the class has something in common. A love for music." Siwon smiled softly. "Once they see that, I know everyone in that room will feel more like a family."

Lisa peeked over to Rosie and saw her smile. She put her arm around her and pulled her in close.

"Okay, good. But I'm telling you now Siwon, girlfriend to legal guardian, if someone dares make my girl feel bad, you're obligated to make them pay. Or tell me, so I can." She grinned.

Siwon smiled and stepped closer. "And I, as a teacher, will pretend I didn't hear that." He rolled his eyes. "No threatening students and making them pay Lisa. But..." he looked to Chaeyoung. "I will defend her, if something happens and it comes to that."

"Thank you." She bowed her head slightly. "And you know I'm not really mean right? I wouldn't hurt anyone."

besides whom I already have...

"I know you're very sweet, but very protective of your friends and family. As anyone should be." Siwon replied warmly. "Now whose hungry? Let's eat up before we tackle that room."

"I am." Chaeyoung whispered.

She smiled sadly and held onto Chaeng a little tighter. "I'm sorry."

"For me being hungry?" Rosie asked with a chuckle.

"No, for still talking about this while your stomach has probably been grumbling. Let's feed you! Stat!"

(Chae pov)

Lisa and her were sitting against one another on the bed in her finished room while waiting for Siwon to snap their photo.

He seemed happy.

Genuinely happy to be taking their photo and being within their company.

It made her heart feel full, but also left her feeling curious again. About him... and his family.

That didn't seem to be around.

Siwon was and is a sweet and caring guy. So why is he alone? Why would he be alone? At least, alone, as far as she can tell.

"Okay girls say 'we're tired'." Siwon joked.

"We're tired." They repeated and smiled as he captured them. She looked to Lisa after and Lis stared back at her curiously.

"What is it?" Lisa whispered carefully.

"Nothing." She replied while Lisa adjusted her hand on her back. Showing her comfort even though she wasn't the one she thought needed comforting.

"Well Chaeyoung, what do you think?" Siwon smiled and sat on the floor in front of them. "Is it okay?"

"It's perfect." She smiled. Looking to the soft shades of pink and blue bed furnishing and decor that highlighted the grey walls.

"I honestly wouldn't have anticipated this color pallet from you." He spoke while looking to the yellow flowers that sat in a vase.

She liked those flowers. They reminded her of Lisa.

"The colors, blue and pink, they were the colors of my old bedroom." She recalled. Snuggling into Lisa's side. "My bedroom back in our family home in Melbourne."

"Oh, so you wanted to try and recreate it?"

"Yeah..."

"How'd we do?" Lisa questioned her softly.

"Perfect, as I said." She smiled warmly. "It's great. Thank you again Siwon." She turned to him and bowed her head. "It's more than enough."

"I wish I could offer you more." He waved her off. "So don't say thank you okay? I'm your legal guardian now. I have to..." his voiced trailed off.

She studied his face as it changed a bit. He looked almost, sad?

"I have to be a good one." Siwon spoke, looking from her to Lisa and back. "I owe it to you girls."

"You don't owe us anything." Lisa assured him. "If anything, we owe you. For being so kind to us." Lis smiled.

But Siwon didn't smile.

At least, not for long.

"Yeah, kind." He scratched his neck. "But there was a time that I wasn't." He mumbled quietly.

Lisa and her shared a glance with one another before looking back to him. "Siwon?" She whispered but he suddenly shook his head.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to sound so grim." He looked to his watch. "It's getting late girls, I've probably kept you for too long."

"No it's okay." Lisa quickly replied. "We can keep talking."

"Yeah Siwon." She spoke. "What were you saying?"

Siwon sighed and shook his head. "It doesn't matter what I was saying guys. Let's just... let's not indulge on it. Instead, I just remembered something that Ami had asked me to talk about with you."

"My mom?" Lisa questioned, already being intrigued by Siwons statement.

But she didn't take, she still wanted to know what he was talking about.

Something was bothering him, and she could hear it in the way he spoke to them. About being kind. Making it sound like he wasn't always such a nice person.

Especially since he mentioned their was a time he wasn't.

Could this explain why he's alone? Was he ever... bad?

Chaeyoung didn't want to think this way, or make up stories about him. She didn't want to end up hating Siwon because of what she believes he could have done.

No, listen to what Ami wanted him to go over with you. Don't think, just listen. Don't get ahead of yourself, don't do this to him.

To you.

Roseanne. Be smart. Please.

"Well, Ami and I have been texting, as I'm sure you could have guessed." Siwon began. "Besides getting to know each other, we've been discussing the upcoming days."

"The court date, right?" Lisa questioned quietly.

"Yes. That." Siwon took in a breath. "I'm sorry we're going to have to go through it, but it will be worth it, in the end."

"I know."

She glanced to Lisa, then back to Siwon, who was looking at her.

"I'm sorry Chaeyoung."

She looked down at her hands and took in some breaths of her own. She needed to remember that it was going to be okay. Think about Lisa, about how she was worried.

But Lisa saw the reason they were going. Used her anger towards her old boss as strength. Lisa was going to put him away no matter what.

And the jury would believe them. They had to.

She knew they were going to.

So she needed to breathe. Relax, and let her own anger help get her through it. And... her confessions.

"Listen..." Siwon spoke, gaining her attention. She looked back up and watched as Siwon looked back and forth from them. "Ami and I are meeting with the lawyer that will be representing us in the case. She's good, and it shows."

"Ami just wanted me to go over something with you guys, from teacher, to students." He smiled. "Don't lie, okay? When you put your hand on the Bible and swear to tell the truth, you must. But... that doesn't mean you can't withhold the truth."

Lisa and her glanced at one another once more before Lisa questioned him.

"It means... don't give them too many details." He replied. "Don't tell them more than they have to know. When the defendants attorney asks you a question, answer it, plainly." Siwon stated.

"Just give them an answer. Don't be robotic, do show some emotion, but spare them the details okay? We can't give them any information that could possibly be used against you." He finished.

"Do you... know what kind of questions they'll ask?" She spoke quietly.

"If we were to guess. Anything along the lines of what you'd take, what you'd do, who you'd meet." He smiled sadly. "They'll try to use your past against you. Make you seem like the bad guy. Lisa too. But you're not Chaeyoung, neither of you are. The jury will see that."

She nodded, but couldn't help but fiddle with her fingers in her lap.

They were going to try to pin her, them, as a bad guy. It made sense. But she would steal from campers and take drugs.

In the eyes of any law abiding citizen... she was a bad guy.

(Lisa pov)

Chaeyoung and her were listening to more of what Siwon had to say, but her heart kept pulling at her by the string whilst they did.

The string she's sure was connected to Roseanne's.

She glanced over to the Australian and noticed the look in her eyes.

Rosie was worrying again.

Lisa tried her best to remain in the conversation.
Asking then receiving answers to more questions she had, before Siwon looked to his watch again and told them they should think about heading back before it got too late.

They reluctantly agreed and hugged Siwon goodbye. Thanking him again for letting them over and promising to see him more often.

She then walked Chaeyoung to the car and let her in. Heading over to the driver's side and starting the vehicle. Reversing it out onto the road and driving them towards the house.

As they drove, she reached over and laced her hand with Chaeyoung's. Pulling it up to her lips and kissing it.

"Rosie?"

"Mhm?"

"When we get back to the house, I'd like to make you dinner."

"Really?" Chaeng questioned softly. "Why?"

"Because I want to. And I'd like us to take a bath afterwards, if that's alright?"

"The both of us?"

"Yes please." She glanced over to Chaeyoung and smiled warmly. "I want to relax with you."

Rosie smiled and squeezed her hand. "Of course."

She quickly brought Chaeyoung's hand back up to her lips and began peppering tons of soft kisses on it.

Chaeyoung giggled before slipping her hand away from her and swatting at her shoulder. "Babe, the road."

"Sorry." She replied while still wearing her smile. Refocusing all of her attention to the road and driving the rest of the way to the house.

Pulling into the garage and hoping out.

Chaeyoung let herself out of the car but waited for her to come around. She smiled and put her hand on her back as they walked inside from the garage.

They greeted her mom and stepdad who were seated on the couch petting Leo and Luca.

They began talking a bit about their time with Siwon and showing the progress photos they had taken of the room, before Siwon had took theirs. The cats at their feet while they did.

"Oh girls, it's lovely." Her mom replied in Korean as Marco told them it looked great in English.

Chaeyoung then began chatting in English with Marco, so Lisa took advantage of the opportunity to slip into the kitchen unnoticed.

Well, almost unnoticed.

Leo jumped up on the counter and laid down while her mother shot her a question in Thai.

"What are you doing?"

"Making dinner." She replied with a smile as she pet Leo, then went through their food options in the pantry.

"Pran, you just got home. Allow me or your father to."

"No it's okay. I want to."

"For?"

She grinned and glanced to her mom. "Rosie."

Ami nodded, not persisting any further as she was sure her mom knew she had a valid reason.

"Don't bother making enough for Marco and I then. We can head out on a date and let you two be alone."

"You sure?" She questioned while taking out some ingredients. "Is that really smart of you guys?"

"Smart of us? What do you mean Lisa?" Her mother looked at her curiously.

"What if I can't keep my hands off of Chaeyoung?" She joked, being reminded of yesterday. "What if we wreck the house with our hormones?"

"Eish, you brat." Her mom smacked her head with a smile.

"Ow!" She whined as Chaeyoung and Marco looked their way. "I was kidding."

"I know... That's why I didn't hit you hard." Her mother teased.

She chuckled and began prepping the food on the counter. "We won't do anything." She began, glancing back and forth from what she was doing, to her mom. "Thank you, for being thoughtful and easy going. I don't know what I'd do without a mother like you."

Her mom pouted and embraced her. "I love you Lisa. You make it easy for me to be this way. You've always been a good kid. I'm so proud of who you've become."

She stiffened at those last few words.

What her mom said was sweet, and it made her hug her back even tighter. But of course, she had to question it.

"Even after what I've done?"

Her mom pulled back and looked at her, before sighing and reaching out, fixing her bangs as she spoke. "You heard me last night... didn't you?"

She nodded.

"I'm sorry, you shouldn't have. But, I don't take back what I said. You have went through a lot baby, seen and done a lot, but none of it makes me any less proud of you."

"Really?"

"Really. You're so smart and so caring. Your love truly does shape you Lisa." She caressed her cheek. "How could I ever not be proud of my daughter for being driven by love to protect those she cares for?"

She smiled and wiped her nose as tears threatened to fall.

"Pran? I know you're strong. And I wasn't trying to make it seem like you weren't by saying what I did last night. I also didn't mean to make you worry about who you are either. You're my daughter whom I am still, and forever will be, proud of."

Lisa allowed some tears to escape as she rested her head down on her mother's shoulder and cried silently.

Ami wrapped her arms around her and held her tight.

She prayed Marco and Chaeyoung were busy talking so Rosie wouldn't worry about why she was crying. And by the sounds of it, it seemed that she was right in thinking they were.

Her mother soon stepped back and wiped her tears away. Smiling at her while she did. "Would you like me to help you with dinner until we decide to head out? So you don't burn down the house or anything?"

She chuckled and nodded while drying her eyes. Her mother kissing her cheek before walking past her and resuming her work.

"Thank you Momma." She spoke while going to help at her side. "I love you."

"I love you too Lisa. I love the three of you more than you could ever know."

"Not the five of us? What about Leo and Luca?"

"Eh." Her mom shrugged.

She chuckled again.

So that's where she gets it from.

~

Chaeyoung was currently munching away on her second bowl as Lisa had decided to quit after her first.

She just watched Roseanne eat, the smile never leaving her face while she did. Rosie was just too adorable while eating, and it made her heart nearly burst while watching her.

The Australian would still wiggle when she'd run into an even tastier bite than before, and Lisa silently praised herself for cooking the food well enough for it to occur.

Thanking her mother in her head too, as she did help out a lot before Marco and her left for their dinner together.

"You're making me nervous." Rosie spoke up quietly from in front of her.

"How baby?"

"By staring." Chaeng looked up sheepishly. "Am I being messy? Is there something on my face?"

"Nothing but beauty." She replied matter of factly.

Roseanne smiled, but tried to mask it in a face of disgust. "Oh my god, that was so cringy."

"You loved it though."

"No," She took some more bites. "I didn't." She then finished her bowl and sat her chopsticks down beside it. "But this? This I loved."

"I'm glad." She grinned before standing up and collecting their bowls and utensils. "Let me set these in the sink. Then we can head upstairs and start the bath." She spoke in English.

Roseanne's 'Mhm' followed after, before Lisa did as she said, then took Rosie's hand and led her up the stairs. Away from the dining room table and to the relaxation she hoped would follow.

As they entered the bathroom and she began filling the tub, Lisa could sense Chaeyoung watching her with curious eyes.

She turned around and met her girlfriend's gaze. Smiling and approaching her while the tub filling up helped drown out the quietness of the home.

"Hey." She spoke.

"Hi."

She put her hands on Rosie's waist and looked her in the eyes while pulling her body close. "How about we undress each other and enjoy some hot water and relaxation?"

"Is that what we're really doing? Relaxing?" Chae questioned quietly.

"I'd like to." She leaned forward and placed her forehead on Chaeyoung's. "Wouldn't you?"

Rosie sighed and whispered a yes before tilting her chin up and connecting their lips.

Lisa kissed her slowly. Carefully, while feeling for the bottom of Chaeyoung's shirt. Lifting it up and tossing it onto the ground.

Rosie was already unbuttoning her jeans for her. She made sure not to break the kiss while she began undoing Chaeyoung's.

Lisa then grabbed her own shirt and tossed it off as Chae stepped out of her pants.

She prepared to pull hers down when she noticed Chaeyoung's eyes on her. "What?"

"The water..."

She quickly looked over and noticed the water in the tub was coming dangerously close to the edge. "Crap!" She exclaimed while rushing to shut it off.

Letting some of the water drain out before clogging up the drain again. "That was close. Thank you bab-"

Lisa stopped mid 'baby' as she had turned around and was met with a completely naked Roseanne.

Her bra and underwear sitting on the floor near their clothes. Skin, glistening gorgeously in the steam filled bathroom.

No matter how many times she's seen Chaeyoung naked, her beauty was something jaw dropping.

Lisa's eyes trailed down every inch of Roseanne's body. The way her sides curved in, shaping and carving her waist that Lisa still couldn't believe stayed so small.

Even after Chaeyoung had gained some weight from staying with them. It still remained so, so small.

But the rest of her body? Her hips and even... butt, had came off her hourglass defined figure, making every gay inch of Lisa's own body scream in want.

Every gay inch she didn't know she had, before Roseanne.

"Baby? Are you drooling?" Chaeyoung spoke up. Bringing her out of her state of needing a bible.

"Maybe a little." She wiped her mouth and put the hand down on the tub. Steadying herself. "I swear you look more and more gorgeous everyday. I don't know how you do it."

Rosie blushed and walked towards her. Reaching around and removing her bra that was indeed, very uncomfortable. Letting it drop to the floor.

She bit her lip as Chaeyoung leaned in and kissed her softly. Rosie chuckling while doing so, and then pulling away to look down at the top of her jeans that the Australian was fiddling with.

"How is it that we ended up completely naked besides your jeans." Chaeng laughed. "Again?"

"I don't know Rosie. Maybe you just like a girl whose only in skinny jeans?" She joked.

"Maybe I just like a girl?"

She smiled. "This girl, right?"

"Only this girl baby." Chaeyoung assured her, while going down towards the floor, pulling her jeans and underwear to it along with her.

Lisa grinned and looked down right as finger tips brushed her core and she immediately shot a hand down. Gently halting Chaeyoung by the wrist.

"Babe? What's wrong?" Rosie quickly asked.

"What's are you doing?"

"H-Helping you relax?" Chaeyoung questioned carefully. "I thought... you know..."

She softly lifted Rosie up to her feet and caressed her face. "No baby, I told momma we wouldn't do anything." She smiled.

"Why would you tell her that?" Chaeyoung whined, before shaking her head with an annoyed smile of her own.

"Baby?"

"Hm?" Chaeyoung met her gaze.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

She leaned in and kissed her before gesturing down to the water below. "Hop in the tub with me? It's getting cold."

"Sure." Chae smiled and followed her down.

Lisa climbed in and spread her legs while Chaeyoung entered the space between her knees, but not in their usual fashion.

Instead, the Australian's back was against her front. And Lisa wasted no time in putting her arms around her. Holding her close.

They laid silent like this for awhile. Just relaxing in the heat, before Chaeyoung finally asked the question.

"Why are we here Lisa? I know it's not just for relaxing."

"I mean, it kind of is?" She chuckled, while rubbing her hands up and down Chaeyoung's smooth legs. "But you're right, there was another reason."

"Which is?"

"You." She answered quietly. "And worrying."

Chaeyoung took in a breath and released it audibly. "We've been over this Lisa."

"I know. I know baby. Many times." She placed soft kisses on Chaeyoung's neck and shoulder before resting her chin on it. "But I saw the way you looked, after Siwon mentioned certain... things."

"Like?"

It was her turn to sigh as she remembered. Placing another kiss on Rosie's skin for good measure. "Like, how they'll try to make us the bad guy."

She could feel Chaeyoung's change in posture, letting her know she was right about Rosie's worrying earlier this evening.

"Babe? Talk to me."

There was no immediate response. Lisa had a feeling Chaeyoung might not. So she waited, until she heard a quiet voice amongst the white noise.

"What if... they see me as one?"

"As a bad guy? Chaeyoung, the jury wouldn't."

"But what if they do?"

"Baby, why would they?"

"Because I stole." Roseanne quickly informed her. "Because I stole blankets and clothing from innocent campers just so I could take drugs while staying warm."

Chaeyoung's voice had cracked and it broke Lisa's heart hearing it. She wrapped Rosie in her embrace and the Australian placed her hands over her arms.

Keeping her close.

"I don't know how you feel about being pitied," She began. "But baby? From what you just said, I only can think about how sorry I am for you." She sniffed. "There's no way I or anyone could ever take you as a bad guy from trying to survive the cold."

She could feel Chaeyoung's body beginning to shake whilst in the warm water.

Lisa sniffed again as Rosie turned around and crawled onto her lap. Wrapping her arms around her neck and crying into it. "I'm sorry Lisa."

She held her eyes shut as she tried her hardest not to break down.

God, Chaeyoung still felt bad. She still blamed herself and treated herself as the bad guy in her own heartbreaking backstory.

It broke her heart.

It truly broke her heart.

She caressed Chaeyoung's back and held her tight. "Don't apologize Rosie. It's not your fault." She kissed her neck. "And I promise you, that any person you may have stolen from, would forgive you undoubtedly."

"You think so?" Chaeyoung cried.

"I know so baby. I know so. And I know the jury, if they find out, will too."

Lisa then allowed the quietness to surround them. As it didn't seem as uninviting as anyone might have thought.

In fact, in times like this, when she was left not truly knowing what to say next, Lisa was sure it did help.

As it let Roseanne have the quietness to understand the words she had just said, and come to terms with them.

And hopefully, help prepare her for what's to come.
