"Oh my..."
You can hear the disappointment in her voice,but don't know who it's directed at more. You glance behind to see she looks rather upset, her chin resting in the palm of her hand while her elbow is resting on top of her knee.
"I told you not to worry, Momo." You pull your jacket back on and zip it up, going to sit next to her. You know she'll blame herself for the incident, she always seemed to blame herself but you made the snap decision without consulting her. You were the only one to blame for your injury, which you had reassured her multiple times, but it didn't seem to stick.
"I shouldn't have been cornered." She mutters sadly under her breath, "Sometimes during battle, it's like I can't think straight."
"I think you need to work on your confidence, Momo." You grab her cheeks and squish them, pulling her face up so you could look into her eyes. She's blushing now, still nervous when you touch her like she wouldn't let anyone else. "Forget about the scar. I can think of much better things we could be doing."
You lean forward and press your lips against her impossibly soft ones, her worries drifting away as she deepened the kiss.
