I was on my phone waiting for Billie to wake up so I could finally give her the gift I bought her.
I moved closer to billie hoping she would wake up, but again she didn't, so I went to my last option.
I moved her sliver hair out of her face and pampered kisses all over her face.
I heard little giggles come from her
"I love being woken up like that"
"Get uppp it's Christmas"
"We're not five years old"
"Hush, I wanna give you your gift"
"Just keep kissing me and I'll be fine"
"No get up"
"Ugh"
Billie sat up and watched me ever so carefully get out of bed.
"Take a picture it'll last longer"
"Shit sorry"
I stood up and smiled, I walked over to our closet pulling out her gift
I watched her open the gift and when she got the box she looked at me already knowing what it was.
"You did not"
"Open it"
She opened the box and her eyes started to water.
She immediately put the box down and hugged me, making me fall over.
"Thank you" her soft raspy voice said.
"No problem, you deserve it
She got up and wiped her eyes, "can you put it on" she asked
"Sure"
She handed me the promise ring and I put it on.
While putting it on her finger I told her what it symbolizes
"I struggled to find a ring to get you, I don't want to get anything basic so I got a knot ring...it's not fully tied so eventually if we get married I'll get you that's fully tied"
"You're so perfect, and I can promise you that one day I'll marry you"
"I'll be looking forward to it. Does it fit well"
"It's perfect"
I smiled at her and she kissed me placed her hands on my face rubbing her thumb over my cheek
She hugged me again but tighter this time "I love you so much, thank you for this"
"I love you more then you'll ever know" I responded
She pulled back and said "my turn"
"You got me one"
"Obviously it's Christmas"
Billie opened the bedside table and pulled out a small square box.
She handed it to me and watched me open it.
When I unwrapped it there was a small black box.
I opened it and seen a gold chain with a diamond butterfly that had our initials engraved in the back
"It's so beautiful butterfly's are my absolute favourite"
"And our initials on the back makes it mean so much more"
I looked up at her and she was smiling huge
"I love you, thank you for this"
"Anything baby..you deserve the world"
"No don't do that...I'm not crying today"
She laughed and asked to put it on
I faced the wall and lifted my hair so she could put it on
I felt warm air on my neck and then soft lips
"Billie. It's 7am"
"But you're so beautiful"
I put my hair down and faced her
"If you wanna fuck me just ask me"
"I can't it sounds so harsh"
"Then I guess you can't"
"Ugh you're annoying"
"True"
