Margo POV:

Eijirou trudged over to the door, opening it for Bakugou.

"Hey man, you'll never guess who came back last night—" Eijirou started saying, before Bakugou interrupted him.

"—I don't care, shitty hair. Look, I know you're trying to find Margo, and I did some research of my own on the league of fuckheads. I think this should be enough to save her." Bakugou grumbled, shoving a stack of papers in Eijirou's hands.

He was still standing outside the door, so he didn't see me yet.

Eijirou looked at the papers in surprise, then back up at Bakugou, before he started laughing softly.

"Heh. Dude, this is great. But—"

"ARE YOU LAUGHING AT ME!? DON'T LOOK DOWN ON ME, DAMN IT!!" Bakugou screamed, before I couldn't stop myself from chiming in.

"You researched the league of villains to save me?!" I asked, coming up to the door behind Eijirou.

Bakugou's crimson eyes nearly shot out of his head at the sight of me, looking at me in pure shock and confusion.

"Margo?! What the hell!! When did you get back, huh?!" Bakugou exclaimed, trying to hide his surprise.

He quickly shoved his way past Eijirou and I to fully enter the room.

"Just last night. Nobody knows I'm back yet. Well, except you and Eijirou obviously." I shrugged, taking a seat on the bed.

Bakugou grunted in annoyance, plopping down in the desk chair.

"Well, a warning would have been nice. That way I wouldn't have wasted my precious time, researching pointless information about you." He scoffed, gazing uninterestedly at the ceiling.

I couldn't help but chuckle softly at Bakugou's words.

It was nice to see this explosive moron again. Especially in the safety of the school.

Eijirou came over and sat next to me on the bed, lazily placing his hand on my thigh.

"Sorry, Bakugou. I guess I just didn't think you would go through the effort of trying to find me. I really appreciate that." I said, shooting him a grateful smile.

Eijirou laughed as we watched Bakugou become embarrassed by my words.

"H-Huh?! I don't give a shit! I only tried to find you, to pay you back for saving me. It was nothing more than that, so get over it." He mumbled lowly, aggressively rubbing the blush out of his cheeks.

"Alright, alright. I got it. I just...I don't know. I figured that once you knew who I really was, you'd hate me. I know how you feel about villains, after all." I mumbled, rubbing the back of my neck nervously.

Eijirou hummed at my response, chiming in now.

"No, it's not like that for him anymore. You see, once we got back to the school....Mr. Aizawa explained the whole situation to Bakugou. Now he knows your situation—or at least...as much as the teachers do." Eijirou explained, shooting me a gentle smile.

Eijirou knew a little more than the teachers did about my past, even if it was just bits and pieces about my parents. Even so, he was reassuring me that no one else knew as much as he did.

Another question suddenly arose from Eijirou's explanation.

"Wait a minute, so Aizawa isn't mad at me for everything that happened with Bakugou's kidnapping?" I asked curiously.

Bakugou scoffed impatiently at my cluelessness, before Eijirou spoke up again.

"Well, it's probably best you go see him yourself. He's been pretty quiet about this whole thing, honestly. But if he chose to tell Bakugou about your situation, and no one else, I'd say you're most likely in the clear." He smiled, wrapping his arm around my waist now.

"Alright, I guess I'll go see him." I muttered quietly, still slightly nervous about what Aizawa would say.

I mean, I did technically aid in Bakugou's kidnapping....even if it was to save him.

Plus, I've been gone for three weeks...with no contact.

I wasn't too sure he'd be happy with me.

"I'll see you later then." I whispered to Eijirou, not wanting to leave him.

"Sure." He uttered, giving my cheek a chaste kiss.

Bakugou immediately groaned out in disgust.

"That's fucking disgusting. Enough of that couples bullshit. It's pissing me off." He spat, aggressively spinning around in the desk chair to look away.

I laughed, as I got off the bed to head to Aizawa's office.

"I'm glad you're safe, Bakugou." I called out honestly, as I opened the door to leave.

I expected another smart ass comment from him, but instead...

"Yeah, alright..." he mumbled ever so softly, not meeting my gaze.

Friendship? Maybe.

.......

"Come in." Aizawa said, hearing my knock on his office door.

Well, here goes nothing.

I slowly opened the door, walking into the office.

"Mr. Aizawa." I called out quietly, seeing him at his desk.

He looked up, his eyes widening at the sound of my voice.

"Margo?" He asked in shock, immediately standing up from the desk.

I couldn't stop the word vomit from rapidly spewing out of my mouth now.

"I didn't betray the heroes! I was trying to save Bakugou, but I had to kidnap him to keep everyone else alive, and then we got captured again in the warehouse, but I was really trying to help him, and then I know there was no reception after that, but Eijirou saved him, you know? And then Shigaraki bitch slapped the earpiece off my ear, that's why I wasn't able to get contact to you for three weeks, and I had to stay there because Shigaraki was on to me and he was getting angry—" I babbled a mile a minute, before Aizawa held his hand up to stop me.

"Woah, woah, woah Margo!" He called out, overwhelmed by my run on sentences.

I cringed slightly at my overeagerness, averting my gaze to the floor.

I waited in silence for his answer.

I was slightly caught off guard when I heard Aizawa start laughing lightly, shaking his head in amusement.

I raised my brow in pure confusion, very surprised by this shift in his personality.

Whereas he normally seemed very on guard whenever I was around him, right now...he seemed very relaxed.

"Uh....I don't understand." I mumbled to him cautiously.

Aizawa looked at me now, his eyes appearing soft towards me.

He sighed in, what appeared to be, relief...plopping back down into his seat.

"Margo, I'm so glad you're okay." He replied honestly, kicking his feet up on the desk.

I felt my eyes light up at his words. I truly believed their meaning.

For the first time, he seemed completely genuine, like a wall had finally broken down between us.

"Wait, really!?" I called out a little too excitedly, not being able to stop the smile from spreading across my face.

"Yes, really. I was worried sick about you. I've been doing my research, trying to find you." He started off.

Wow, that's three people who have tried to find me from my three week hiatus at the league of villains.

Three people who tried to save me.

It makes me feel....really good. It makes me feel important, safe.

Man, this is what it means to be a hero, huh?

"That call I made to Shigaraki yesterday, was meant to be a coded message to you." Aizawa explained to me, twirling a pen between his fingers.

"Coded message?" I asked in confusion, before i remembered what he meant.

That's right, my last conversation with Shigaraki:

"Your stupid school left a message, saying you'll be withdrawn if you're not back tomorrow, so you're free to head back in the morning. Alright?" Shigaraki said casually, before going to his room to pack for the Tokyo trip.

"Yeah. I called Shigaraki, playing along with the lie that he's your brother, and left that message. Basically, I was trying to convey to you somehow that if you weren't back at school today, I would go find you myself. I know that wasn't the best way to do things, but I didn't know how else to communicate with you. I figured Shigaraki confiscated the ear piece somehow." Aizawa explained to me.

"Man, I didn't even pick up on that coded message." I mumbled sheepishly, rubbing the back of my neck in embarrassment.

"It's alright. You're back now. That's all that matters." Aizawa shrugged, reaching around in his desk drawer for something.

"So you and I—plus All Might and the others....we're all good here then?" I asked hesitantly, needing specific confirmation that I wasn't in trouble.

Aizawa paused his desk shuffling to pay attention to me now.

"Margo....I know I haven't been the warmest person to you about this whole situation. From the very beginning, I was very hesitant about you. I really didn't know whether or not to trust you, when you joined the side of the heroes. I took a chance with you, because you had great potential....not poisoning All Might's mug with the Nomu serum, tending to the injuries of your classmates instead of killing them when you had the chance, refusing to hurt innocent people." Aizawa started out, coming over to me now.

He gently placed his hands on my shoulders, giving me a light shake.

"I had faith that you could do the right thing, when it came down to it. But, I couldn't put my full trust in you, in order to protect my students and colleagues. After what happened with Bakugou, you have earned my trust. I would have preferred if you did something that didn't put your life in danger, but nevertheless....you have definitely won me over. You have proven yourself to be very heroic." Aizawa remarked, an unfamiliar glint shining in his eyes.

Heroic.

Wow.

I really love that word.

"Thanks, Mr. Aizawa. B-But, I'm no hero." I chuckled softly, becoming shy now.

He shrugged tossing me a set of keys. That's what he was rummaging in his desk for.

"What are these for?" I asked, inspecting the keys.

"For your dorm. Your room is in between Mina and Yaoyorozu. Dorm room checks are every weekend morning, the room must stay tidy at all times, and there is no excuse to be late for class. Understand?" He stated firmly, gaining back his teacher aura.

I grinned in excitement, eagerly wanting to see my dorm.

"Yes! Yes, I understand. Can I go see it now—uh, please?" I asked quickly.

Aizawa rolled his eyes, dismissively waving me off.

Without another word, I hastily walked out of his office, going to see my dorm and my friends.

Aizawa POV:

I couldn't help but smile to myself when Margo left, remembering the conversation I had with the others awhile back:

"Shota, she's a member of the league of villains, and you're saying you want her at our school!?!" Nemuri (aka Midnight) exclaimed.

"She's been accepted to UA, and she'll be here tomorrow. We should just arrest her on the spot and throw her in prison, immediately." Hizashi (aka Present Mic) suggested, waving his hand dissmissively at Margo's file.

I remained quiet, as I thought about my options.

This girl hasn't killed anyone. In the league of villains, she's known as the meek one.

Her past is incredibly troubling. Maybe she just got in with the wrong crowd.

Why not find out?

"All I'm saying, is that we give her a chance. You guys could be right. But, I'll take full responsibility for Margo. I'll be very cautious of her, and take her down if she presents a threat. But, at least give her a chance to turn her life around." I reasoned to my high school friends, now turned pro heroes.

Everyone was quiet, as they thought about it.

Nemuri and Hizashi looked at each other uneasily, before looking back at me.

"Fine. But, she's your responsibility. We'll trust you." Hizashi nodded, Nemuri nodding with him.

"Deal." I confirmed, closing Margo's file.

Even though I never showed it, I believed in you first Margo. I always had faith that you were a good person.

And I'm so glad you proved me right.
