(Chae pov)

Lisa's hand was in hers as they walked quietly down the boardwalk.

The sun creating an orange hue over everything they could see. People enjoying the last bit of an Australian summer before the cold would hit and they'd have to bundle up for winter activities instead.

She smiled and walked a little closer to Lisa. Not wanting to separate from her.

"It's beautiful." Lis spoke, looking over the beach and ocean.

"The sea?"

"Australia."

Lisa looked over to her and pinched her cheek. "I like your home."

She looked down and grinned before stepping forward and wrapping her arms around Lisa. "It's your home too now."

Kisses were placed on her neck and cheek before Lisa snuggled her head against Roseanne's.

They embraced for a minute before she smiled and spoke up again. "Will I get to see Thailand?"

"Of course." Lisa replied. Pulling away and running some fingers through her hair. "I think it's your turn to meet my grandparents."

"Are they sweet?"

"Yes. In their own special way. There's just one problem..."

"Which is?" She questioned nervously.

"They only speak Thai."

"Oh."

Lisa rubbed her cheek then dropped her hand. Lacing their fingers again. "I'm sure you guys will still get along well."

"Or... I could help your mom with her english, and have her teach me Thai?" She suggested as they walked further down the beach.

"Hm, that sounds nice." Lisa smiled. "I think my mom would like that."

"I think so too."

They continued their walk rather quietly. Pointing out things they would see that was cute or interesting, Lisa taking some pictures of them, before making their way back to the main road and finding a place to eat.

After searching the streets, they soon found a quiet cafe and made their way inside. Lisa and her walking over to some seats where she sat and Lis kissed her forehead before heading up front to order them some food and drinks.

Roseanne smiled and watched Lisa as she did.

This week was the first week of March, meaning Lisa's birthday was coming up.

She hadn't put a ton of thought into what to get her girlfriend yet, but the more time they spend together, the more Chaeyoung knows she wants to be with Lisa forever.

The way Lisa makes her feel, it literally brought her back from nothing.

Roseanne felt like a completely new person. Even though her 'new' self was actually her old self.

She needed to show Lisa how thankful she was.

Had to.

Her thoughts halted when the Thai made her way over with a bag and drinks. Setting them down and sitting in front of her.

"Alright baby, I have some food for us. Here's your drink."

She smiled and accepted the bag and drink from Lisa. Taking a sip and immediately grinning wider. "Omg."

"Like it?" Lisa giggled.

"Yes... is this mango?"

"Yup, mango iced tea. Thought it sounded like something you'd love."

"Mm I do love it." She smiled while sipping her straw. Watching Lisa as she did. "And, I love you too."

Lisa returned her smiles and began taking their food out of the bag. Passing her some and letting their hands brush across one another's.

They both blushed, almost as if they were on a first date.

Not as two women who spent the night and morning making love, but like two people who were still nervous to be alone together.

They were still young, and showed it in times like this.

But Chaeyoung was kind of happy they were? Even though their relationship was still fairly new, instead of acting like the several months old couple they were, they still sometimes acted like they weren't.

It was nice.

Still trying to enjoy new things together and make one another happy in a way that made them love each other more.

They began talking quietly while sharing their food. Checking in on Marco and Ami who were supposably spending the day at the pool together whilst they ate.

Lisa would take her photo every now and then, and she'd hide behind her hands.

Before getting told she was 'too beautiful to not be seen' and would end up giving in to Lisa's photos.

"You like taking pictures a lot, don't you?" She questioned Lisa after the Thai had been staring down at the photos on her camera.

"Oh... yeah." Lisa chuckled lightly. Setting her camera down. "It's easier to enjoy it when you have a good muse."

She blushed and finished off the little bit of food left in front of her. "I know you said you liked taking them before, but you really seem to be quite the photographer."

"It's a nice hobby." Lisa shrugged. "Like how you sing and play instruments. I dance and take photos."

"You haven't uploaded your own picture in awhile."

"Hm?"

"Your Instagram. We're in a drought."

Lisa chuckled. "Look whose talking. You have a whole one photo on yours. And it's of us."

"I only made it to follow you."

"I know." Lisa sighed. "But maybe you could start posting more. Maybe even, covers and stuff."

"Covers?" She questioned a bit nervously. "You mean, singing covers?"

"Yeah baby."

"Um... I don't think so."

"Why not?"

She shifted in her seat and Lisa noticeably softened her eyes and reached out, placing a hand on her arm. "Hey, it was just an idea. Don't be nervous, you don't have to."

Lisa gave her arm a squeeze and she nodded her head. Looking down at the table top and taking in some breaths.

She did like music. Wanted to pursue it... maybe.

As a kid she could easily get up in front of people and sing. But now? Being the school drug addict had really affected her self esteem.

Even if she looked fine now, they still remembered.

People remember.

And she remembers how people would stare. Whisper. Even if the crowd of people she'd be standing in front of wasn't from their school, the damage from being an addict and getting looks for it was already dealt.

How could she stand in front of people and not let her mind slip back into her broken days?

"Chaeyoung." Lisa spoke.

She looked up and stared at the blonde with doe eyes. Watching as Lisa smiled softly.

"Please stop overthinking."

"But..."

"No buts." Lisa spoke firmly. "You don't have to post anything. You don't have to sing in front of the camera, people. If music is something you really like, you'll find a way to pursue it with or without facing your fears."

She sat there, unmoving, until she gulped and began to speak. "How do you always know what to say?"

"I take a guess." Lisa smiled. "It's luck."

"But you're not lucky?"

"Hey..." Lis chuckled.

Chaeyoung smiling and shaking her head a bit. "I'm kidding."

"I know. But it's true." Lisa shrugged. "Somehow, I'm only lucky when it comes to you."

(Lisa pov)

After their date, Roseanne and her returned to their hotel and found her parents. They chatted beside them at the pool, dipping their legs over the side into the water while holding hands.

The sun was starting to set and Chaeyoung and her spent a good amount of time just staring up at the sky as it changed to pink and orange.

They had got up from the side of the pool and made their way over to a couple tanning chairs. Both laid quiet and stared up at the sky some more while her parents dried off.

"I'm going to miss this." She looked over to Roseanne who was smiling softly at the changing clouds. "I forgot how pretty they were."

"Yeah, Australia has pretty sunsets." She replied warmly.

"South Korea does too... but, the ones here are just... different."

"It's because it's home." She replied quietly. "I'm sure Thailand would feel the same way to me."

"When you visit Thailand, do you feel at home?" Roseanne questioned her, turning to face her way in her chair.

She thought for a moment, before sighing. "Honestly?" Lisa began, thinking some more. "Not really. I only get that feeling when I'm around you."

Chaeyoung smiled and her cheeks changed a shade to match the sunset. Lisa smiled and continued speaking.

"I always knew my dreams would be achieved outside of Thailand. So I had known I was going to move away from an early age. Maybe that played a part into why it never truly felt like home? Even though it is."

"Hm, I can see your point." Rosie spoke. "Do you think it could-"

"Girls." Her stepdad spoke. "We're heading upstairs. Do you want to meet in the lobby in thirty?"

"Sure." Lisa replied with a smile.

Marco nodded and both her parents waved before heading toward their room to change.

Lisa looked back over at Chaeyoung and watched as the blonde looked away from her parents then up to the sky again.

"What were you going to say baby?"

"Hm..." Rosie hummed. "Oh... it's nothing."

Lisa frowned but soon her pout was replaced with a smile seeing Chaeyoung's. Her girlfriends eyes bright, sparkling, as they stared at the clouds.

Her heart warmed.

There was a feeling in her chest that kept creeping forward. The feeling containing words, wanting to come out. And telling her mind that they should.

Lisa gulped and sat up in her seat.

Chaeyoung looked over to her with furrowed brows. Sitting up as well and watching her curiously. "What is it Lis?"

Okay. Here goes nothing.

"Let's move here."

Roseanne's eyes widened as she let her face soften and stare. "What?"

"Let's move here. After high school."

"Really?"

"Yes." She spoke. Smiling at the smile that grew on Chaeyoung's lips. "Australia is your home. It makes you happy. And I only want to make you happy."

"But Lisa..."

"I just told you that Thailand doesn't really feel like home to me. And Korea definitely doesn't. You're my home."

"But, you're mine too. We don't have to if-"

"Great, if we're each other's homes then it doesn't matter where we live." She reached forward and took up Chaeyoung's hands. "When we first stepped off that plane, I was awestruck by the beauty of this place. The vibe it gave."

She rubbed Roseanne's hands with her thumbs. "Let's live here, together. We can be neighbors with Owen and Lily. Have Phoebe over for girls night. And steal Joohwangie back to live in our very own fish tank."

"I'd like that." Chaeyoung smiled and let a couple tears fall. "Very much. But that's still a year away... what if-"

"We're moving here once we graduate and that's final."

"Lisa..."

"No. That's final babe."

Lisa watched as Chaeyoung looked down at their hands. The Australian smiling and whispering a 'thank you' before releasing her hands and wiping her tears.

Lisa stood up, took a step, then leaned down to Chae. Lifting her arms up and wrapping her own around her girlfriends waist. "I love you."

"I love you too." Roseanne whispered into her neck. Lifting and tightening her fingers around it.

She smiled and pulled back slowly. Brushing the tears away from Chaeyoung's cheeks and chuckling softly. "You cry a lot baby."

Roseanne pouted and swatted her hand away before stepping back and wiping her eyes again. Smiling sadly. "You make me..."

"Mostly happy tears right?" She lifted a brow.

"Yes... mostly." Chaeyoung held out her hand.

Lisa reached out and intertwined Rosie's with her own. "Should we go wait in the lobby now?"

"Yeah... we probably should."

They started walking back towards the hotel lobby. Chaeyoung looking over to her and speaking again. "Do you think Momma Ami and Marco would move here too?"

"Hm... I'm not sure. Probably. Why?"

"I don't want to leave them." Rosie whispered while returning her gaze forward.

Lisa's heart warmed and she smiled at Chae's words.

Squeezing the Australians hand.

"You're not gonna leave them baby. We're not." She replied quietly. "We're a family."

~

Roseanne and herself both decided not to mention moving to her parents while at the dinner table in the hotels restaurant.

It was all talk right now, but that didn't mean it wasn't going to happen.

Lisa was going to make moving here happen.

But she'd have to step up her game and get noticed by a company if she wanted to have the money for that.

Her instagram was getting a bit more popular. After posting more selfies again, after it had quickly turned into a Rosie fan site.

But maybe it was time for YouTube?

"What's on your mind Lis?" Her stepdad questioned. Lisa looking up from her bowl to him.

Glancing at Rosie who was already working on her third bowl. The Australian glancing to her too.

"I'm... wondering if I should start a YouTube channel."

"YouTube? That's random." He chuckled.

She smiled knowing it did sound a bit random.

"Yeah... it would be for dance covers and stuff."

"I hear kids can make a lot of money from this 'YouTube' now days."

"I think you should." Rosie spoke to her. "You're good. People would enjoy watching you."

"You think?" She smiled.

"Mhm." Chaeyoung hummed before finishing her food. "I do."

"What do you think mom?" Lisa questioned her mother in Thai. "You've been quiet."

"So you'd be recording yourself and posting it on this site?" Her mother asked.

She nodded.

"Hm... people couldn't find you from that right?"

"No momma." She chuckled. "Unless I post our address, no one would know where we lived."

Ami thought for a moment. Lisa smiling softly to her mother, who was showing her protective side.

"This is to help you become a dancer right?"

"Yeah, a company could notice me and make me a dancer under their label. I can actually make money and help you guys out for once."

"We could plan more trips like this." She added. "And it would be cheaper because I could pay for Rosie and myself."

"I'm fine with it then." Her mom smiled. "If it's what you want to do and your fathers okay with it."

"Thanks momma." She grinned warmly. Looking back to her stepdad and switching back into English. "So?"

"I agree with your mother. As long as you're not found by some crazy fans, go ahead and see what happens."

"Thank you thank you thank you." She smiled and blew them each a kiss before turning to look at Roseanne again.

Chaeyoung noticed her eyes and looked over. Lisa winked at her, causing the blonde to blush a bit before they began holding hands under the table.

"What was that about?" Her mother questioned slowly in Thai with a mischievous look in her eyes.

"Nothing." She responded. "Just solidifying something Rosie and I talked about doing earlier."

"Let me guess... sex?"

Marco coughed on his water and Lisa's face went bright red. "Oh my god! No!" She exclaimed in English.

Her mom smiling and humming while Chaeyoung squeezed her hand. "Did your mom suggest something... naughty?"

"Yes." Lisa sighed. "She did."

(Chae pov)

After their dinner earlier. Everyone returned to their rooms and began packing up anything they had taken out over the trip.

They had an early flight to catch tomorrow. Heading back to Korea, where Jennie and Jisoo awaited their return after watching the house.

And their kids.

Leo and Luca.

She had just finished packing her luggage bag and climbed into bed. After having already brushed her teeth, she decided to watch some YouTube on her phone until Lisa finished packing hers.

Another fifteen minutes or so going by when Lis did finally complete her packing and crawled into the bed beside her.

Chaeyoung's phone getting picked up out of her hand by the Thai and placed on the bed beside her.

"Hey..." She pouted as she turned to face Lisa who was getting on top of her. Both Lisa's arms on either side of her as she hovered above. "That wasn't very nice."

"Sorry baby, but it was distracting you."

"From?"

"Me, and my kisses." Lisa leaned down and pecked her lips. "Mm."

She tried hard not to let a smile appear in her lips. But unfortunately, she couldn't hold it back for very long.

Soon she grinned and Lisa smiled back in response before leaning back down and capturing her lips again.

Chaeyoung wrapped her arms around Lisa's neck and Lisa let her full body weight fall onto her.

Lisa's arms wrapping up underneath her a bit as they made out quietly, with little tongue.

"Did you enjoy dinner?" Lisa asked while moving from her lips to her neck.

"Yeah, it was nice."

"Mm I'm glad." Lisa replied between kisses and nibbles. "Excited to be heading back tomorrow?"

"Yes and no." She raised her chin and moaned a bit as Lisa kissed a sore spot. "Yes, because we will get to sleep in your bed again and see the cats. No, because of the flight, and just leaving Australia for Korea in- ah... general..."

"I know baby." Lisa spoke after a hard nibble, lifting her head up and going back to her original position in front of her. "I feel the same way."

"But, I know it won't be our last time here." She smiled, trying to see the positive.

Lisa smiled and nodded her head while leaning in and kissing her. "Mhm, it won't be."

They continued kissing for a little while, before Lisa and her both decided it would be a good time to tuck in.

Chaeyoung cuddled her fox with Lisa's arms wrapped tightly around her waist from behind.

She thought more on what to name the little guy, but she wasn't able to come up with one before Lisa's breaths and her thoughts sent her off to sleep.

~

The next morning was rushed.

Even after getting a good amount of sleep, both Lisa and her slept in longer than they should.

Marco and Ami having to knock, and inevitably enter their room through the connected door just to find the two of them still passed out.

After that it was quick ten minutes, then out the hotel doors they went. Catching the hotel shuttle back to the airport and terminals.

Chaeyoung kept her fox close to her chest. Looking out the window at all the passing cars. Staring past them to the scenery and city.

She's going to miss Melbourne. A lot.

There's a saying that you don't know what you had, until it's gone. Like not knowing how much you'd miss something until you actually don't have it anymore.

Melbourne was like that.

The shuttle ride was short from the hotel. Soon they were at their gate and thanked the driver before collecting their luggage at the back and getting off the shuttle one by one.

Making their way to check in. Slipping the labels onto their bags and sending them away to be sorted and taken to their plane.

She held Lisa's hand as they walked through the airport together. Stopping by a gift shop and killing some time by looking through all the momentous.

Lisa pulled her over to a wall and smiled at a picture frame that said 'Made in Melbourne' on it. Lisa chuckled and took it off the shelf.

"I'm going to put my favorite photo of you in this."

She blushed and smacked Lisa's arm before correcting her. "I was made in New Zealand though, not Melbourne."

"Oh... that's right." Lisa frowned, before continuing to smile and keeping the frame close to her chest. "Guess we'll just have to put our son in it."

Chaeyoung felt her heart warm and stepped closer to Lisa's side. Tightening her grip on the Thais hand.

Lisa had mentioned having a son before.

She remembers joking about having the cats... but Lisa made it adamantly clear that she wanted to have an actual son of their own. With her.

"Since we'll be having our son here." Lisa added. "In Australia."

"Okay." She whispered into her girlfriends shoulder as she leaned her head against it. "It can be for our son."

Lisa turned her head and kissed her forehead before they both walked up to pay together.

Marco and Ami checking out after them, then the four of them making their way towards their gate.

And being surprised when they arrived at it.

People were everywhere. Their flight was apparently going to be packed.

Lisa and her stole glances before walking past people to find a seat. They had forty minutes until their flight was supposably arriving. And they really didn't want to stand that entire wait.

She watched as Momma Ami and Marco found a couple seats next to each other. But Lisa and her were still struggling to find their own.

After searching a little longer, they found one open seat next to some people waiting for the flight. Lisa started to walk towards it, Chaeyoung tightening her grip on Lisa's hand.

Not wanting Lisa to go to it.

"Come baby." Lisa spoke while continuing her trip to the empty space.

Taking the seat and patting her lap before tugging her down by her hand after she didn't move.

She was kind of embarrassed to sit on her lap while in the company of so many people. But Lisa spun her around so they were facing the same direction and hugged her around her waist.

Bringing her comfort while they waited.

And after a brief delay, causing their forty minute wait to turn to sixty, an announcement that their flight had arrived was echoed over the speaker.

They stood up and met with Marco and Ami before boarding with other first class passengers.

Greeting the flight attendances as they past them and found their seats. Lisa immediately pulling out a blanket and wrapping herself up in it.

Her usual flight routine I guess?

She got herself situated in her seat. Pulling up her fox and taking out her phone. Placing it down and fixing her hair in it. Noticing Lisa looking over to her phone while smiling.

"What's her name?" Lisa finally questioned. Speaking in Korean while looking to her fox.

She glanced down at her plush and shrugged. "She doesn't have one."

"You should give her one." Lisa suggested.

Like she wasn't trying to come up with names already.

She just mentioned how she could cuddle her while at planes and hotels to try and change the subject. Feeling bad she couldn't think of a name for her gift.

"I can give her a name."

Chaeyoung kept looking at her fox when she acknowledged Lisa. "Hm?"

"Bangu."

She looked over to Lisa with a face of disgust as people finished boarding. Lisa smiling at her look and she spoke lowly in reply.

"Bangu?" Lisa wanted to name her fucking FART? "Why would you name her that?"

Lisa just shrugged and raised her blanket. "What do you think of Bangu?"

"That makes her sound like she smells!" She then looked down and sighed before conceding. "But... it sounds cute."

"Or James?"

"James?" She looked to Lisa again. "That's like, a guys name."

"Then Bangu! Call her Bangu."

"What if people think she smells?" She questioned while the flight procedures began being explained over the intercom.

"Farts can have a nice scent."

"There is nothing like that!" She laughed while looking away to smile. Marco and Ami watching them with smiles too from across the way.

"So?" Lisa questioned. "Bangu it is then?"

She turned back to Lisa and leaned forward. Closer to the partition of their sides. "Fine." She agreed. "Only because it sounds cute."

Lisa leaned forward with a smile on her face. Inching her face across the separation and pecking her lips while in their seats.

Just as the sound of the planes turbines began spinning.

And their long flight back to Korea officially begun.

~

Chaeyoung awoke to the sound of a ding and the shaking of the plane.

Opening her eyes to the illuminating seatbelt sign and loud turbines spinning.

She quickly fastened her belt and grabbed Bangu. Holding her close and closing her eyes during the ordeal.

Suddenly realizing Lisa's seat belt was probably off and opening her eyes, just to see the Thai waking up herself.

Lisa noticed the sign and awoke pretty quickly after that. Buckling up and looking over to her. Lisa's face quickly changing to a worried one and reaching a hand out over to her.

Chaeyoung assumed she looked terrified while strangling Bangu in fear. Releasing one hand and lacing it with Lisa's while her other hand and arm still held her fox.

"It's going to be okay." Lisa spoke. "I think we're landing."

She closed her eyes and nodded before the plane jerked and she felt her heart beating out of her chest.

It's pace worsening when she heard the squeals of the planes tires hitting the pavement and sounding like they were struggling to brake.

But the turbines noise softened and soon did their ride before stopping and the seatbelt sign dinged, signaling it was turned off.

"Passengers, this is your captain speaking." A voice sounded. "Sorry about the bumpy landing in a rainy Seoul, but I hope you all had a great flight and enjoy the rest of your evening."

"You okay?" Lisa's voice spoke softly. Bringing her to finally open her eyes.

"Yeah..." She replied quietly while looking to her. "Of course it's raining."

Lisa smiled and gave her hand a squeeze before they stood up and walked off the plane together.

Going to baggage claim and waiting for Marco and Ami to arrive.

Which they did not long later.

Chaeyoung felt her mood shifting already. Like a haze being applied over her mind and body. She felt more sluggish, less energized.

Even though she was still happy, being with Lisa and Lisa's family.

Holding her hand and walking with her while pulling their luggage behind them to where their car was parked in the airport parking garage.

She still felt like she couldn't be happy to the fullest.

And she hated it.

They arrived at the car and all helped one another put their bags in the back before climbing in.

Lisa sitting in the middle seat beside her. Pressing herself right up against her side.

Chaeyoung glanced to her and noticed Lisa was already looking at her too.

"I'm sorry." The Thai spoke.

She understood what Lisa meant. That she was sorry they had to leave Australia and return to South Korea.

She just looked down and nodded. Whispering that it was okay before looking out the window as they began their drive back home.

Lisa put a hand on her thigh and rubbed it with her thumb while her parents and her all spoke to each other in Thai.

Roseanne didn't assume it was about her. Only because she had picked up on the sort of words that referred to them or herself more specifically.

So she just paid attention to the passing buildings. Watching as they went through an intersection, passing under the light.

Before Chaeyoung realized what intersection it was.

It was... the intersection.

She felt her heart drop, remembering that night. But, her mother soon appeared in her mind.

The woman she didn't even know was still alive, happening to be living in Australia. And seeing her there while she visited.

It felt like a dream.

Some dream she didn't want to be real... but also did? Because it gave her answers. And she liked answers.

Needed them.

(Lisa pov)

Chaeyoung was sad, overthinking, and probably wanting to return to Australia already.

And Lisa really couldn't blame her. Seeing how dreary Korea looked at the moment, it really didn't help that longing to return to the sunshine and palm trees they probably all were sharing.

She was about to tap Chaeyoung's shoulder when they arrived at their house.

Pulling into the driveway and being greeted by a bouncing Jisoo and a Jennie.

"You're home!" They both shouted. "Welcome back!" Jisoo smiled along with Jennie.

"You girls didn't burn the house down. Good job." Her stepdad chuckled while exiting the vehicle and hugging them.

"Of course not." Jisoo replied. "We took good care of it."

"Thank you again girls." Her mom spoke next as all three of them left the car and walked to where they all were standing.

"Of course Mrs. M." Jennie hugged her before looking to Roseanne. "Anything for my hubby."

Jisoo and herself brother rolled their eyes while their girlfriends hugged. Deciding it would be a good time to hug themselves.

"You good Lis?" Jisoo asked while they did.

"Yeah. Still hard to believe everything that happened."

They both separated and she smiled sadly.

"How was Australia though? Beautiful?" Jisoo smiled.

"Yeah. It was gorgeous. I fell in love with it."

"You know what I fell in love with?" Jennie spoke from over her shoulder.

Lisa glanced to her and furrowed her brows. "What?"

Jennie smirked and looked from Roseanne, back to her. "Your bed."

Her face went red as she looked to her parents, who luckily were out of ear shot and already making their way inside. Bags in hand.

"For... sleeping right?" She questioned timidly. Before asking again more frantically. "Just for sleeping right Jen? Jen?!"

Jennie just kept the smug look on her face before winking to Jisoo and turning to walk back inside herself.

"Don't worry Manoban." Jennie replied. Not looking back as she spoke. "We washed the sheets."

Her jaw slacked and Chaeyoung's did the same as she glanced from her to Jisoo whose face was red.

"Chu! Oh my god!"

"I'm sorry!" Jisoo put her hands together and bowed. "Your bed was just so soft and Jennie was so horny..."

"Oh my god!" Roseanne and her spoke in unison as Jisoo quickly ran away behind Jennie into the house.

She turned and stared at Chae. Both their faces showing the same level of disgust as she stepped over to the Australian and wrapped her in a hug.

"I can't believe them." She spoke quietly.

Roseanne chuckling a bit and nodding against her. "If I'm being honest, I half expected it."

"Honestly, me too." Lisa sighed. Before pecking Chaeyoung's forehead and walking around to the back of the car.

Both of them collecting their bags and making their way inside together.
