The Next Day
I woke up got ready and put on the outfit below
I got Ella Bella ready and I said my goodbye and dropped her at Tina's. I left, while driving I got pulled over. I pulled aside and rolled down my window and the cop walked up and it was Turner.
Me:*smiles* turner how nice to see you again
Agent Turner:Yeah wish the feeling was mutual
Me:Well no one told you to come back
Agent Turner:So you gonna tell me where this body is
Me:I'm sorry I have no clue what your talking about
Agent Turner:mhmm right, so you don't know anything about Pills or....counterfeit money?
Me:Not a clue what your talking about officer now mind telling me what you pulled me over for?
Agent Turner:*smiles* right, have a good day ma'am
He walked off and I drove off taking to many turns and back roads ensuring I wasn't followed. I got to the warehouse and I walked in and saw Rio talking to some employees. I walked over to him and whispered in his ear.
Me:Outside now
I walked away from him and outside. He came out and over to me.
Rio:whats up
I turned him.
Me:Turner pulled me over
Rio:okay
Me:and he not only knows about the body and the pills he now knows about the fake cash
Rio:There's a leak somewhere
Me:Duh
Rio:So find it
Me:First take these guns I can't get pulled over and have him snoop
Rio:Right
He went to the door and motioned people from inside over to him out came Mario and Mr.Sisco and they unloaded my car. They went inside and I opened my car door Rio grabbed my arm and I looked at him, he kissed me.
Rio:Be careful
Me:Always am
I once again tried to get in and he stopped me again.
Rio:I mean it Kehlani I don't need you getting hurt or arrested
I cupped his face and looked in his eyes.
Me:papi I need you to trust me
He nodded and I kissed him and got in my car and left. By that night I found out it was a guy Annie was seeing I got to the warehouse and Rio came out I got out and leaned against my car.
Rio:Find the leak?
Me:Yea
Rio:Take care of it?
Tears rolled down my cheeks.
Me:I went to he didn't see me but I was ready to pull the trigger and....and.. I hesitated
He raised an eyebrow
Me:Do you know how long it's been since I've hesitated Rio? A long ass time *sniffles* jesus christ
Rio:Calm down mama
He pulled me close.
Rio:It just from the stress okay how about this we take the kids tomorrow on a 4 day vacation lego land in California.
Me:Okay
So the next day we left with Benito and Ella and left on a plane to California. We got to the hotel and benito ran to the conjoining room which was his and Ella's and he jumped on the bed Ella crawled after him. I smiled and Rio pulled me close.
Rio:See this is what we need
Me:Definitely
The first day we explored a part of lego land. Afterwards we went out for dinner then later that night got back to the hotel and went in the pool which was outside. I was holding Ella obvi she is only one and has never been in a pool. Rio had to put his phone on silent cause Beth kept calling him. After the pool we went up to our room and while Rio showered I bathed Benito and Ella. Once they were fresh and in clean clothes Rio came in their room and entertained them while I showered. I got out and put on the pjs below
I blow dried my hair and walked out and into their room. Rio was sitting on the bed with Ella in his lap asleep and Benito next to him slowly drifting to sleep. I looked at Rio and he smiled at me, I walked over to the other side of the bed which he was on and I carefully picked up Ella and Benito looked up at him.
Benito:Are you going to bed daddy?
He spoke lowly.
Rio:Yes, cause tomorrow we are gonna have a lot of fun okay?
Benito:Okay goodnight daddy
Rio:Goodnight lil man I love you
Benito:I love you too
He kissed his forehead and got up. I laid Ella next to Benito and covered her up as well.
Benito:Goodnight momma
I was a little taken back by that cause he's never called me that before but I didn't show it. I kissed his forehead.
Me:Goodnight mijo
I kissed Ella and we walked out turning off the lights and shutting the door. We did leave the tv on in case they woke up during the night they would have that to occupy them back to sleep. I looked at Rio.
Rio:Does that bother you?
Me:No it was just shocking
We turned off the lights and got in bed.
Rio:He really likes you, which is good cause I really like you too
He said pulling me on top of him and I smiled.
Rio:What?
He asked innocently
Rio:What's on your mind mama
He asked tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.
Me:Beth was right
He perked an eye brow.
Me:I have never felt more happier in my life
Rio:Not even daniel?
Daniel is my ex, Ella's dad.
Me:Not even daniel not in the least. And I never want this to end
Rio:Are you proposing
He joked and I couldn't help but laugh.
Me:No *smiles* I mean it, I love you
Rio smiled
Rio:Here's my confession, as dark as I am, I will always find enough light to love you to pieces with all of my pieces because as the end of the day of all the bullshit I get to come home to beautiful daughter and son and you. The only person who sees me as I am and accepts me for what I do and that my queen is why I will always love you.
Tears of happiness rolled down my cheeks and I leaned down and kissed him. I laid behind him and he pulled me close and we drifted to sleep.
