Over the next 3 weeks Sophie and keefe had kept their distance from each other. Sophie had been snarky and salty sometimes and keefe had just ignored it and let her run him over. They've been so distant that they haven't kissed, hugged, or even held hands in 3 weeks. Sophie was still annoyed at Keefe for saying no to having a child. Keefe was standing firm by his answer.
Biana, tam, Linh, and fitz are all waiting on having a child because Keefe won't agree to it. But they were all still friends.
During the evening. Keefe was sitting at his desk, opening letters from the black swan. Sophie was watching her favorite show ever, F.R.I.E.N.D.S. on tv.
They were sitting in the same room, not talking. Sophie paused her show and was sitting quietly on the couch.
A few minutes later.
"Hey Soph?" Keefe called to Soph without facing her.
"Shh." She shushed him.
"What?" He asked over his shoulder.
"Be quiet." She told him.
Keefe spun around in his chair as he tilted his head down and look up at her with slightly narrowed eyes. "Why are you shushing me?" He asked her.
"I'm talking to Fitz." She said as she sat there with her eyes closed.
"What?! No you're not!" Keefe exclaimed confusedly.
"Telepathically-" she took a second. She opened an eye to peek at him as Keefe opened his mouth to say something. "-hush." She said as she closed her eye.
"Damn you telepaths." Keefe grumbled as he spun around to his desk in his chair.
A few minutes later.
"Okay. What is it?" Sophie asked him as she stood up and went to her closet.
"Nothing." Keefe answered blandly as he spun his chair around again to face her.
"Just tell me." Sophie's voice pushed from inside the closet.
"It's nothing." Keefe said through clenched teeth annoyedly.
Sophie came out of the closet in a new outfit. She threw him a confused look as he looked away.
"Fine." Sophie shrugged as she turned to get her purse. Keefe looked up at her.
"Where are you going?" He asked her.
"Don't worry mom, I'll be back by curfew." Sophie said sarcastically.
Keefe rolled his eyes before watching her walk to the doors.'
"Be back in an hour. Bye." She said without turning around to look at him.
He sighed as she walked out the doors and away.
Keefe closed his eyes and clutched his head stressfully as he spun his chair in circles. He let out a frustrated yell.
Sophie showed up at Fitz and Linh's house 10 minutes later.
"So what did you wanna talk about?" Fitz asked Sophie as they sat down in his living room.
"Your beloved but stupid and hard headed best friend." Sophie growled to Fitz.
"Keefe?" Fitz asked her as he handed Sophie a drink before taking one himself.
"Who else would your bestie be?" Sophie groaned. "Yes! Keefe Playboy-Hottie-Blond-Curls Sencen." Sophie rubbed her temples.
Fitz raised an eyebrow at her, amusedly, with a smirk.
"Don't start with me." Sophie warned him before taking a sip of her bottle.
"All I'm gonna say is that this is what you get for marrying a Sencen." Fitz smirked at her, saying the name with a smug tone of distaste.
Sophie looked up at him. "What?" She asked him confusedly.
"Have you seen Keefe's family? One glance at Keefe's cousins and you'll immediately sign a divorce." Fitz chuckled as he swished the drink in his bottle in circles.
Sophie thought for a second. "Really?" she glanced at Fitz. "-What? wait. No." She waved her hands, stopping herself. "Okay I came here for a reason-" She turned to Fitz.
"Yeah. What's up with him?" Fitz asked her.
"He still won't agree to having a child anytime soon." Sophie said, clearly stressed out. "And I really won't wait any longer." She sighed.
"Soph I'm sorry. But I really don't think I can do anything in that situation." Fitz held her hands gently. "This is in between you and the airhead you married." He cracked a smile.
"I know it's between us-" Sophie clasped his hands tighter. "But I really really reallyyy need you to talk to him." Sophie begged him.
Fitz gently pulled his hands away as he stood up and took a sip from his bottle. "I seriously doubt I can do anything- ask Tam, maybe he can help." Fitz advised her as he put his bottle down.
Sophie stood up after him. "Tam?" She scoffed. "Keefe wouldn't listen to Tam if he told him to tie his shoes." She kidded as Fitz turned around to leave the living room. "Wait." she snagged him back by his shoulder.
Fitz turned around with a sigh.
Sophie put her hands on his shoulders. She looked up into his eyes intently. "If there's anyone in this world that Keefe will listen to is you." She pointed at him. "You're like his brother. You guys grew up together. He literally listens to you more than me." Sophie sighed with a small smile.
Fitz looked back and forth from each of her eyes for a few seconds.
"I am pretty special aren't I?" He cracked a smirk.
"Fitz." Sophie said softly.
"Yeah...I'll talk to him." Fitz told her.
Sophie wrapped him in a tight hug.
"Thank you." She whispered as slowly moved her hand to wrap her fingers gently around the side of his neck with her thumb on his cheek by his ear.
Sophie glanced down at his lips.
"Don't mention it." Fitz whispered, glancing down at her lips also.
Sophie leant up as Fitz leant down. Their lips met smoothly.
Sophie pressed her lips onto his and his pressed back. She pushed her tongue into his mouth as he wrapped his arms around her waist. Fitz picked her up and she wrapped her legs around him and wrapped her arms around the back of his neck. Fitz pushed her up against the wall as he pressed small kisses onto her neck as she breathed into the crook of his neck.
Sophie pulled away gently. Fitz did too. He put Sophie down and cleared his throat as she fixed her hair.
"Sorry." Sophie said softly.
"Me too." Fitz agreed.
They stood in silence for a few moments.
"Don't tell Linh?" Fitz asked her with slightly narrowed eyes and a small smirk
"If you don't tell Keefe." Sophie smirked back.
"ok, now get out." Fitz teased as he tossed Sophie her purse.
Sophie caught it with a laugh. "Bye!" She called as she walked down the hall towards the door out.
When Sophie walked into her house it was around 9pm, pitch dark. Almost her whole house was glass so she could see the distant, dark woods surrounding her house from afar. She slowly walked through the front door. She squinted through the darkness of her living room, trying to see anything. As she reached for the light switch she heard a clang in the kitchen, which was straight in her view across the house from her.
Sophie cautiousely stepped into her dark house as silently as she could. She saw fast movement through the soft moonlight flooding through her glass walls in the kitchen. Sophie quietly reached for one of the weapons she had hidden in her living room.
Sophie and Keefe had weapons, defense systems, Black Swan emergency call buttons, and silent alarm systems hidden all around their glittery mansion. This was all due to the fact of how many enemies they've earned through working with the Black Swan and all.
She reached from behind a cushion on her couch and retrieved a small knife. She held it tightly as she stepped closer and closer to the kitchen.
She didn't dare speak a word as she reached the kitchen.
The object in the dark swung a fist at her.
Sophie ducked from the punch quickly. She stabbed out her arm and flicked the knife towards the object.
"Don't make me use it." She deepened her voice to change it from her real voice.
The object tried to grab the knife from her but Sophie grabbed their arm and twisted it.
"Surrender NOW." She growled into their ear with a deep voice.
They twisted out her grip and sophie slashed the knife at them. The person dodged the knife but grabbed sophies arm. Just as they flipped Sophie backwards over their shoulder, she turned in their grip and flipped them instead, landing on one knee.
She held the person stomach down on the floor with their head pressed against the floor she had her knife at the back of their neck. She had a knee pressing down on their back.
As Sophie touched their hair to push the head onto the ground she stopped for a split moment.
She felt the hair again. She slowly ran her fingers through the suspects locks. She'd recognize those silky waves she loved to touch so much anywhere.
Sophie squinted down at the person in the dark.
"K-...Keefe?" She asked confusedly.
"Fair game huh?" Keefe wheezed from under her.
Sophie groaned as she snapped her fingers twice and the lights flicked on.
"What are you doing?" She asked him exasperatedly as she let go of him and flicked the knife shut as she stood up.
"I was going out to the hot tub until you started attacking me." Keefe glared at her as she helped him off the floor.
"Well why were you standing in the dark?" Sophie asked him with a hand on her hip as he walked to the fridge.
"Security told me someone suspicious was approaching the house. I shut the lights so I'd have a better shot at taking them down." Keefe explained as he opened his fridge and looked for something to drink.
"But you couldn't see in the dark." Sophie told him confusedly.
"Neither could you." Keefe smirked over his shoulder at her.
Sophie rolled her eyes at him. Keefe studied her for a moment.
"Why's your lipstick smeared?" He asked her.
"Oh I uh-..." Sophie thought back to the kiss between Fitz and her. "Must've smeared through all this." Sophie gestured to them accidentally attacking each other.
Keefe nodded as her closed the fridge and turned around with two bottles of drinks.
"Now back to what I was saying..." Keefe handed her a bottle. "Care to join me in the hot tub?" He asked her with a smirk.
Sophie rolled her eyes as she glanced at the bottle in his hands. Keefe held it out closer to her, flashing an irresistible grin.
She let out a scoff as she took the bottle from him and took a sip as she turned to go change with a smirk.
